King Charles III visited the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in London and confidently poured a perfect pint. But he broke Guinness’ famous “Split the G” rule when he took his first sip through the head rather than aligning it with the logo. After calling it “great stuff” and showing off a foam mustache, the moment instantly became the highlight of the event.

00:00King Charles III paid a visit to the newly opened Guinness Open Gate Brewery in London.
00:05He confidently stepped behind the bar, took his time with the poor,
00:09and created what Guinness experts consider a textbook pint.
00:13Yes.
00:16That would be perfect, lovely.
00:20And now the most important bit.
00:22Place on the side of the bar and we wait.
00:25So, 300 million...
00:27Right after paring, Charles lifted the glass and took a sip.
00:30That small moment broke Guinness' classic Split the G Rule,
00:34which says the first large sip should line up with the horizontal bar of the G and E on the logo.
00:39Instead, he cut straight through the head and tasted the foam.
00:47It's great stuff.
00:48Oh, yeah.
00:50Certainly my tip of choice.
00:52Is it?
00:52Yeah.
00:53Does it get stuck in your beard?
00:54Sometimes, sometimes.
00:56I have to be careful with the mustache in particular.
00:58After that unconventional sip, the king smiled, called it great stuff,
01:02and left behind a perfect foam mustache.
01:05For a brewery opening, it was a moment that instantly became the highlight of the visit.
01:09Even when breaking the rules, King Charles manages to make the moment unforgettable.
01:13Do a brewery参加 a placebo.
01:14No more
01:15No more, no more.
01:15A brewery opening, aTaier.
