00:00If I
00:29could give up my life saving these children, that's what I was going to do.
00:34So I climbed up from under the bench and I grabbed the kids from their mothers and I
00:41just jumped on top of them and I was just holding them and saying Shema and they didn't
00:51really know what it was so I was just telling them repeat after me and I was telling it to
00:55everyone around me and I was just, I felt just so circled with love in a field of hatred
01:03like I felt like we had to be the light in all the darkness surrounding us.
01:08And all of the police drivers and all of those, all the Bondi rescue people and all my teachers
01:21that were there.
01:22After all that happened, the gunshots would keep on going and I started saying Shema Yisrael
01:27and we were saying it and it was loud and we, like, felt really connected to God in that
01:38moment and the gunshots were going and going and going.
01:44Hi, I thank you so much.
01:48You're amazing, really.
01:50I went under surgery and Baruch Hashem it went well and they got the bullet out and I'm
02:10walking on crutches now and I just, I'm living my life to the fullest for the people who couldn't
02:17in that situation and I, um, you know, I'm channeling all of that energy that, all of that trauma
02:26and all of that things that, all of those noises, all of those things, I'm channeling that into
02:30strength to be strong for the people around me and I'm being the light for the people who
02:35can't anymore.
02:40And I was a messenger and I had to be there to share my, what I could with the people around me, so.
02:46And when I went to visit Chaya after the surgery and when she woke up and I started to hear the story,
02:52I was just blown away by my daughter and her strength and her courage and her heroism, um,
02:59we're, we're in awe of her, I know everyone else's, but as her parents, I just can't imagine, you know,
03:05a scenario as, as, as traumatic and horrible.
03:08I knew in that moment, I felt like Hashem was sitting right next to me and he was whispering
03:13into my ear, this is your mission, go save those kids. And I, like, people ask me, like,
03:20how do you get that strength in that moment? But I felt like he was next to me, like, I genuinely felt
03:25so connected. I felt like he was holding my hand through the whole thing.
03:28I feel like I'm a hero. I feel like everyone was a hero in that situation.
03:54Even if they can't see it now, everyone is going to grow stronger because I really feel
04:05like that situation was, everyone was tested. And I don't think it was me specifically because
04:10I think everyone there and not even there, everyone, all the Jewish people who not even
04:15have survived terrorists and massacres and everything. We all are the heroes because we're messengers
04:21from God and we're here to spread light.
04:28We're here to start with you. I need to fill out my permission.
04:35Hey, did you drink? Yes, that's perfect. That was not much to humble, you know?
04:44No, no, no.
