01:28I wrote her. I've made it so you and I don't
01:30overlap. Maybe we should ask mum what she

01:38why I make sure people get good goodbyes.
01:41I want to thank you for this film. I know a
01:52lot of people have been coming up to
01:53you and telling you, I lived through
01:54this. It's been a lot of people, right?
01:58Well, the film does seem to be really
02:01touching people's hearts and making
02:04them feel perhaps seen and heard and
02:07for some people they've been sharing
02:09it's very cathartic experience watching
02:11the film if they've had a similar loss
02:13in their own family lives, especially
02:15if those people have come from quite
02:17big families. And, you know, that's why
02:21I have always loved telling stories is
02:23to hopefully connect with people and
02:24tell stories that resonate and to have
02:26been the person directing this film. It
02:29matters to me even more that people are
02:32appreciating it in the way that they are.
02:35You just certainly did connect with us. I
02:38I, the thing is, I understood more of what
02:42I went through with my own family by
02:44watching this film and I didn't realize
02:46it till later. So that's very powerful. Is
02:49that something that even you have in mind
02:52when you're doing it, but what you can do with it?
02:53Well, I think when, when, when you, when you
02:55go through a loss, Susanna, I think what
02:59happens is as time goes by, the grief
03:02doesn't go away. It just changes shape. And so
03:05actually, when you start to have conversations
03:08years and years later, after that loss has
03:11happened, suddenly what you yourself
03:14emotionally went through can often become much
03:17more available to you. And sometimes it can
03:20take a movie to make you realize what it is that
03:23you actually feel, what it is that you actually
03:25felt at that time and weren't able to share
03:28necessarily. And so with this film, it seems amazing that, that, that is
03:34happening for some people. And I, I feel incredibly grateful for that. And I also
03:38feel that if I never ever get to direct a movie again, I just feel so proud of
03:43this one because we had, we only had seven weeks to shoot it. And that's 35 days. I, I
03:49only had Helen Mirren for 16 days. So it was unbelievably challenging. And all of
03:55those children, those seven children, every single day, making sure that I was
04:00scheduling it correctly so that I had them for the correct hours that they're allowed
04:05legally to work for, you can only put a baby on camera for 30 minutes a day. So
04:10you can imagine it was incredibly challenging, but I, I just, I loved, I loved all of it. I never
04:17wanted it to finish.
04:19Well, it won't finish. It's still there forever. And that the fact that your son wrote it, it made
04:24it even more of a family emotional affair, right?
04:28Yes. It did feel, it did feel extremely emotional. Actually, what was wonderful was that he and I, you know, we developed a different
04:37relationship together. We suddenly were working together as colleagues, equal colleagues. He was doing this for the first time. I was doing this for the first time.
04:46And so whenever we felt terrified, we had each other, you know, we could hold on to each other. Sometimes he'd say to me on set, my God, mom, how, how are you doing this? How, how is this even happening? And I'd say, let's just keep going.
04:58And it was the energy every day that I had to have to keep everyone powering through it. That was the most important thing of all, really. And making sure as well that our on set environment felt really joyful and very safe for everybody, which I'm very proud to say that it definitely did.

05:50Y qué grata sorpresa me llevé con esta historia. Un mundo posapocalíptico por ahí del dos mil setenta y tantos.
05:57El mundo colapsa y creo que están siendo optimistas. Todas las organizaciones se empiezan a reacomodar.
06:03No sé si vamos a llegar a ese año así como en la serie, pero en la serie está increíble y esto es parte de lo que dicen precisamente sus protagonistas, incluido Justin Trurox, que lo hemos visto en muchas otras series.

09:30At least for Mr. House, I don't, he lacks so many of the qualities you just mentioned, and he certainly, I think, lacks, although he's very analytical and cerebral, I don't see him as an introspective character, I don't think he wants to examine anything that's going on, sort of, from an emotional standpoint, I think he's analytical, and I think he's cold in that way.
09:57Numbers, numbers, numbers, he's crunching the numbers, you know.
10:01Money.
10:02And money, too, but I think it's like all people with a lot of money, they pretend it's not about the money, they pretend it's about humanity, saving people, helping.
10:12The journey of your character is full of challenges and decisions, moral decisions. How was that for you in this season, to face that?
10:22It's the thing that I really love about playing this character. You know, she came out of the vault season one, and I always describe her as like an alien who's just been dropped on the earth, or like a newborn baby.
10:37She's a blank slate. She's so sheltered, so innocent and gullible and naive, and everything that happens to her that we witness as an audience, that is her building, her character, you know, the building blocks of who she becomes.
10:48It's layer upon layer, and I get to actually, it's such a treat for an actor to get to do that, I think.
10:53In season two, it just continues, and actually we explore just a more complex, more challenging, and dare I say darker version of Lucy that I certainly didn't see coming, and I don't think the audience will either.
11:09Absolutely. And also, Fallout asks a big question, who deserves to rebuild the world? From your character's perspective, how do you understand that idea into this season?
11:25For Maximus, I think Maximus, at the start of our first season, would have maybe thought, like, you know, once the brotherhood saves the world, maybe this discipline will sort of get a little more relaxed or something.
11:43I don't know what he, at least, like, it's a thing when we're younger, like, what ideals we sort of believe in, you know, sort of life experience, sort of, those things get sort of shaved away from us, and it exposes what is us and our personal sort of idea or understanding of the world.
12:02I think now, I don't know that Maximus has a winner, I don't know that he would choose anyone, I think that he would maybe just hope for peace.
12:14Entonces, Fallout, segunda temporada, ¿y dónde la podemos ver?
12:18En Prime Video, y obviamente a todos los que son fans del videojuego, sabrán que hay cosas que sí vienen para la serie y otras que están manejando de una forma muy distinta,
