00:00Does playing characters in pain affect maybe your own life?
00:04I think that characters they do affect our lives.
00:07Sometimes I'm doing a scene which is a very strong scene
00:11and then I finish the scene and my mind is like
00:14you know I'm already thinking about something else
00:16what I'm gonna do when I go back home
00:18but then my body is still like moved by what happened in the scene.
00:22So if I grab a mug with tea or coffee in my hand
00:26it will be still shaking.
00:28So I think that the characters affect actors more like in that way
00:35that's not like it's not really rational.
00:37But characters should have, should be in pain.
00:40Because we are Zimie Beans we go through painful moments.
00:45No you're right.
00:46So do you think you can keep a bit of each character you did like you still today?
00:52I think so.
00:53I think you know you learn a lot with the characters that you play.
00:56you learn a lot about yourself.
00:58Yeah.
00:59Because in the end of the day I think the characters are,
01:00I sort of like keep playing myself in the characters that I do.
01:05They sort of live within me in the sense that they are all parts of me.
01:13And do you think Pablo Escobar and this character in this movie could be friends?
01:17Yeah.
01:18I don't think so.
01:19They are very different.
01:20They are very different people.
01:22And I read that practice meditation and several martial arts.
01:27Jiu Jitsu.
01:28Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
01:29And does that help you maybe to play better?
01:33They are helpful to make me more sane and be a better person I think.
01:40Yeah.
01:41To be more in contact with myself especially the meditation.
01:45In this world where you know everything is happening in those little gadgets.
01:52Yeah.
01:53And you are like a very anthotic person, very simple.
01:56But you became also very famous.
01:59But do you ever feel like fame overshadows the craft just of acting?
02:05You know, in the noble sense?
02:06Not in my case.
02:08But I sometimes I see like a very talented actor.
02:14Yeah.
02:15That is more into, that's been engulfed by whatever is happening externally in his life.
02:25And I see them like drifting.
02:27And I go like when I just feel like grabbing and bringing them back to what's really important,
02:33which is the essence of what we do, which is like to act.
