00:11at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. Stairs is about a young woman, played by Betsy Brown,
00:17who's amazing, who slowly develops an addiction to throwing herself down flights of stairs.
00:22I initially started writing with the idea of trying to examine addiction from a weird perspective
00:33that I haven't seen before. And as the idea started to develop, I thought that the act of throwing
00:39oneself down a flight of stairs was one, hilarious, and two, if you took it seriously, you had the
00:47ability to make something really interesting and compelling out of it. I'm super excited.
00:52Obviously getting into Sundance is like insane and a dream come true for me. So yeah, I can't
00:58wait to show you guys the film. Hope you enjoy it.
