00:06U.S. President Donald Trump has filed a legal claim against the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC,
00:14seeking no less than $5 billion in damages, accusing the broadcaster of defamation
00:20and of violating laws related to deceptive and unfair commercial practices.
00:26And they got caught because I believe somebody at BBC said this is so bad it has to be reported.
00:33It's called fake news.
00:36Despite the BBC issuing an apology to Trump and its chairman sending a personal letter to the White House,
00:43apologizing for editing a video clip of Trump's speech before his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in 2021,
00:51the initiative failed. Trump has insisted on pursuing legal action against the BBC and demanding compensation.
