00:03which was to misrepresent him by splicing together two pieces of audio
00:07which were almost an hour apart.
00:08Now, they've apologised for that and heads have rolled.
00:11It's down to Donald Trump if he chooses to take legal action.
00:14We'll see where that goes and, you know, the response from the BBC
00:17is an operational matter for them.
00:19But they were the author of their own misfortune here
00:21and it will be the licence fee payers that will have to pick up
00:25whatever the cost is, I'm afraid.
