00:00No cameras allowed, man.
00:02Craig, what is the... I want to know.
00:05Curious minds want to know and ate it all up.
00:08And ate it all up? I didn't leave a crumb on the table.
00:11What's happening?
00:12Well, this is very cool.
00:14I forgot we sundown.
00:15We thought we put sunnies on.
00:17Yeah, yeah.
00:19We got brought out last night.
00:21I feel like such a loser.
00:22We went out with Mick Jagger.
00:24Yeah, man, it was a big fashion night in London, you know.
00:28You can't. These guys don't know how to go.
00:31Ask your first question.
00:32Well, actually, you know what?
00:34I was going to say, Walton, how are you dealing with all this extra attention?
00:37Since Fallout Season 1 and White Lotus, everyone wants a piece of Walton.
00:41He won't stop wearing sunglasses.
00:43Ugh, this guy.
00:46I'm very, I'm very fiery.
00:47Did you know he's Irish royalty too?
00:51I'm having a great time.
00:52I can see.
00:53Very, very flattered. Very grateful.
00:55Listen, everyone's so excited for Season 2.
00:57It's nice to have you joining, Justin.
00:58I know.
00:59It's so nice to join.
01:00Right.
01:01I can see the brotherhood has already begun.
01:03We've been friends.
01:04We were friends before this.
01:05Oh, that's cute.
01:06Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:07It's cute.
01:08It's very cute.
01:09It's cute.
01:10So we're on like a little mini vacation right now.
01:11Yes.
01:12Touring the world.
01:13Were you guys, and for you joining, I guess, Justin, were you more confident going into Season 2,
01:18already knowing that you've won the fans over?
01:20I may speak to that because Justin is just kind of going on this season.
01:24I was just the fan of Season 2.
01:25Will you just go in knowing that it's going to be a great show?
01:26I don't think you take that for granted, right?
01:28And I don't think, I don't, winning them over, you have to be grateful and you have to be humble.
01:37And you have to make a story not for them, but for yourself, right?
01:42Right.
01:43And that if you believe it and there is truth in the story that you're trying to tell, then you have to believe.
01:50That's all you can have control over, right?
01:52Yeah.
01:53But if you come from your heart, that people will see that and they'll respond in kind.
01:57Yeah.
01:58You know, and that's really what everybody making this show intended to do.
02:04Right.
02:05It really is a cinematic experience that everyone behind, we employ 700 people.
02:13And every single technician and every single aspect of the making of the show, down to craft service, showed up every day and gave it everything that they had.
02:22Yeah, I got to sit on the big screen and it's really something.
02:25But it must be nice, Justin, you're joining a show which you know people are going to love.
02:28I'm coming into a table that's already set.
02:29Right?
02:30No, I mean, and ate it all.
02:32And ate it all.
02:33And ate it all.
02:34I didn't have a crumb on the table.
02:35Yeah, exactly.
02:36No, I think, you know, this show does something really great as far as like a show that was a game that is now a show.
02:44And that they have absolute reverence, respect for the game, the fans, or you know, who are the real sort of obviously the shareholders of this franchise.
02:56But in season two, you know, they're not afraid to break furniture, they're not so gentle that they become unadventurous in the storytelling.
03:06So, and I think that was part of the success of season one.
03:09Yeah.
03:10You have to take some big swings with a big bat.
03:13And I think they do it a ton in season two.
03:17I mean, even my character, Mr. Hussey, was brought in, you know, who's, you know, I'm sure a lot of fans would have been like, just keep him on the TV screen.
03:25But we bring him in in the flesh.
03:26And I think that's another sort of example of a risk they took, which ends up paying dividends.
03:32Yeah, I think there's a lot of excitement around your character as well, which I've seen online.
03:35It's so good.
03:36Is he psyched?
03:37It's so fully formed.
03:39It's so four dimensional.
03:41It's really so specific.
03:43Walton, I know you spent a lot of the first press store for this talking about your nose or lack of.
03:49Are you tired of talking about the nose at this point?
03:53Because I watched this and again, it felt like it was even more prominent that you had no nose in this season.
03:59Like, did they do something?
04:00I feel like we were really...
04:02It felt more, I thought that too when I saw it last night.
04:04Yeah.
04:05I think it was even more rendered and more cared for.
04:08We had a little more money.
04:10To really work on no nose.
04:13A little longer time.
04:14Yeah, yeah, that's right.
04:16Yeah, yeah.
04:17But it's fun.
04:18You just get used to it again when you step back into makeup.
04:20People talk about it a bit, but more often than not, people are just so curious where he is spiritually,
04:32you know, going into this new experience with Ella, with Lucy.
04:37Yeah, yeah.
04:38And really so much time is spent with Cooper Howard this year.
04:42Yes.
04:43And understanding, you know, again, a man who thought he woke up one morning and his entire world changed before everyone else's world is about to be permanently altered and changed forever.
04:57Yep.
04:58And he's seeing it now from the inside out.
05:01And he doesn't recognize it.
05:04And that's really scary.
05:06I've heard it described this season as kind of a sort of buddy road trip between Lucy and the gore.
05:12So I was curious if you guys could go on a road trip with anyone on this cast, who would you like to do that with?
05:18I mean, I asked the question.
05:20We've already talked about it.
05:22Walton's got this little van that is such a great little thing.
05:27And we've talked about going out to the desert with that van and growing up some steaks.
05:33You know, 36 hours with steaks and good wine and really good music.
05:36So much fun.
05:37I think that's on the books.
05:38I mean, Prime will happily, I'm sure, send a camera to follow you guys around.
05:41I would watch it.
05:42I don't think we want any cameras on that.
05:43No cameras allowed.
05:44Come on now.
05:46It can't be that bad.
05:48I'm sure it can't be that bad.
05:50And, listen, seeing as it's also set in Vegas.
05:53I'm curious, what is the biggest gamble you've taken in your life, would you say?
05:57Oh, my God.
05:58What a great question.
06:00Thanks.
06:01Great.
06:02What is the...
06:03I want to know.
06:04Curious minds want to know.
06:06I'll tell you what my biggest gamble...
06:07And, you know, you usually gamble without knowing you're gambling.
06:10Right.
06:11In life.
06:12I mean, when you're gambling, you're gambling.
06:13Yeah.
06:14I don't know.
06:15I mean, sometimes I do marvel at the fact, I'm sitting right now,
06:19with you in London, running a show.
06:22Like, that was not a foregone conclusion when I first started my career.
06:27So, I have to think, I was so naive starting my career thinking,
06:31oh, this is going to be fine because I know what I'm doing,
06:34when I clearly had no idea what I was doing.
06:36So, I think, you know, but everyone gambles every day.
06:39You know, but I think your biggest gambles happen when you're young
06:42and you make a couple key decisions and also, I think, deserves pointing out,
06:48usually with the help of someone reaching behind themselves
06:52and pulling you forward.
06:54I don't believe in self-made men or women.
06:57Yeah, I believe you have...
06:59Go ahead.
07:00That's it.
07:01That's kind of it.
07:02No, but gambling in your youth is usually gambling
07:06without knowing that you're gambling.
07:08And the stakes seem pretty low because for all of us,
07:12we like to project.
07:13We can't see ourselves in the future,
07:15although we think our future is endless, right?
07:17Yeah.
07:18And the older that you get, you know,
07:21oh, God, what's a big risk at this stage of the game?
07:27One that we took was leaving Los Angeles.
07:32And, you know, my family and we sold our home
07:37that we cared everything about.
07:39It was our life was wrapped up in this
07:42and began life anew in a different part of the country.
07:45Intentionally, mind you, but it was a big gamble.
07:49Yeah.
07:50It was a very big gamble because there is a lot more at stake,
07:55you know, the older that you get.
07:57But it paid off.
07:58I encourage gambling.
07:59Maybe Architectural Digest, maybe you've seen it.
08:02I will definitely go and look out.
08:05Oh, we've seen it.
08:06I want to see you wearing your sunglasses.
08:08You've texted me that way.
08:09Can we do this on the way out?
08:10Yeah, yeah, definitely do it on the way out.
08:12Can we do a picture?
08:13I feel like I look like a loser,
08:15but I've got it on camera.
08:16So close.
08:17You guys are looking so cool.
08:18Hey, man.
08:19So cool.
08:20That's how you start season two.
08:21That's right.
08:22So lovely to meet you.
08:23Yeah, yeah.
08:24Thank you for the great question.
08:25Bye-bye.
