00:06and this year has been remarkable
00:08and I can say that because I was not here for half of it
00:12so I can say how great they did without really tooting my own horn
00:16and I'm truly grateful that you're here to celebrate it with us tonight.
00:20As you can see, 2025 was unlike any other year in the history of the Embassy of Canada in Kuwait.
00:26For the past 11 months, we set out with a very clear goal.
00:30And that goal was to honour six decades of strong engagement here in Kuwait.
00:37And our anniversary theme, which is collaboration and connection, guided everything we did.
00:43You will see that it reflects our shared history from Canada's role in the liberation of Kuwait
00:49to the long standing presence of the Canadian Armed Forces Operational Support Hub.
00:53Some of whom are here tonight, I think you may see them.
