00:28Be sure to subscribe and hit that notification bell for daily wrestling videos.
00:32Now let's hit the intro and get straight into our first story.
00:42Our first story looks on the truth on WWE burying LA Knight.
00:46Our top story today looks at LA Knight, as all week,
00:49WWE fans have shared their stance on WWE potentially burying LA Knight at the end of Raw.
00:54The end of Raw saw LA Knight seemingly written off TV, as he was brutalized by the vision,
00:59and he was given the same treatment as names such as Braun Strowman and Ricochet,
01:03and after these names were beaten down in a similar way, they soon found themselves out the door in WWE.
01:09Our Fightful Select have now released the truth on what's occurring with LA Knight,
01:13and the reputable outlet confirms that LA Knight is not leaving, and this wasn't supposed to be a burial.
01:18LA Knight isn't going anywhere, contractually that is.
01:21On the December 8th episode of WWE Raw, LA Knight was defeated by Logan Paul,
01:26and effectively beaten up by four men.
01:28Then after the match, he was attacked backstage to close the show.
01:31Fans were asking for an update on Knight, everything from him being written off TV to leaving WWE.
01:36Knight is not leaving WWE.
01:37He re-signed with WWE in 2024, and has years left on his deal.
01:42Now the report continued by saying that WWE were confused regarding the outrage to the angle,
01:47and they stated that the story will be revisited.
01:49It's also stated that LA is not being punished for holding the anti-Jey Uso sign up on Raw last month.
01:55When we reached out to people in the company, they were confused by the outrage of the situation,
02:00and said it was a standard story beat that will be revisited.
02:03There were also unusual conspiracy theories regarding LA Knight holding up a
02:06We Want LA Knight Not Jey Uso sign over a month ago, and being punished for that.
02:11It was repeatedly claimed to Fightful that wasn't the case,
02:13with one source in creative saying that being booked to beat Jey Uso would be a weird punishment.
02:18Now it's entirely possible that Knight is just taking a break, and will be back in time for the Royal Rumble in 8 weeks.
02:24Whilst WWE may not be actively pushing LA Knight, it's completely understandable why fans are upset with his booking.
02:30Knight has remained as one of the most over-acts in the entire company,
02:34yet for whatever reason, they just refuse to push him into the main event picture,
02:37and it's almost as if he's never going to win a world title.
02:40Next up, the next Roman Reigns revealed?
02:43Now it seems like Braun Breaker is destined for greatness in WWE,
02:47and a new report has indicated that they now see Breaker as the next Roman Reigns within the company.
02:52According to a new report from Body Slam Plus via Patreon,
02:55WWE are so high on Breaker that they believe that he's the next big star,
02:58and that he's indeed a frontrunner for the 2026 Royal Rumble.
03:02Sources indicate to Body Slam that higher-ups see Braun Breaker as the next true big star.
03:06They believe that Breaker will be a Roman Reigns type of superstar for the company.
03:10Breaker will be the face for years to come,
03:12but he's also been discussed as a frontrunner to win the Royal Rumble
03:15and win the World Heavyweight Championship in 2026.
03:19Now 2026 could truly be the year for Braun Breaker,
03:22and it'll be extremely interesting to see how his career trajectory plays out.
03:26Next up, John Cena is not main-eventing his final show.
03:29Now it's now been reported by Brian Alvarez that John Cena isn't currently planned to main-event his final ever show.
03:35Yeah, that's right. According to the report posted behind the next paywall,
03:39Cena is set to open Saturday night's main event this weekend.
03:42At this point, there's no set runtime for Saturday night's main event,
03:45so everyone will get all the time they need.
03:48Cena vs Gunther is currently scheduled to open up the show,
03:51and Cena will get as much time as he wants.
03:53Now this is an extremely risky move from WWE.
03:55The show is heavily focused on Cena,
03:58and if Cena wrestles in the opening match and loses,
04:00they could be looking at a situation where fans stop caring about the rest of their show.
04:04They could even be looking at a situation where the fans heckle the rest of the matches.
04:08It's entirely possible that Cena is pushing for the opening slot,
04:11as he wants the spotlight to go to the future of the WWE,
04:14wanting pretty much Obafemi to get the spotlight instead of him.
04:18But the only reason the show is going to be a massive success is because of his retirement match.
04:22That's the only match that has fans paying substantial amounts of money to attend.
04:26It's also possible that Alvarez has misinterpreted what Cena meant when discussing the show,
04:30as Cena has made a number of comments about main-eventing the show in recent weeks.
04:34Nevertheless, the latest official comments from Cena came on his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel,
04:38and this is what he had to say.
04:40Normally I go to bed early, but I think I'm probably going to end this one,
04:43so I'll probably be the last on that.
04:45Now hopefully, Cena does indeed main-event his final ever show,
04:48or this will be another instance of WWE doing a massive disservice
04:52to one of the greatest full-time on the way out the door.
04:55Next up, did you catch Samoa Joe's tribute to John Cena on AEW?
04:59Samoa Joe defended his AEW championship against Eddie Kingston on last night's AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming special,
05:05but some may have noticed that Samoa Joe incorporated a heartfelt nod to his longtime friend John Cena.
05:11And when Cena's last ever match approaching on WWE Saturday night's main event,
05:15Joe gave a subtle nod to him in the ring.
05:17Joe delivered a slam that kind of resembled Cena's attitude adjustment,
05:20and then he saluted the camera and logged in the STF submission hold.
05:24Now although Samoa Joe and Cena rarely interacted on WWE television,
05:28the two actually share a lot of history together,
05:30having trained together in their early years in the now-defunct Southern California wrestling school UPW.
05:36There's an old photo that circulated showing Cena in his early prototype persona alongside a young Samoa Joe.
05:41This was definitely a great tribute by Joe.
05:44John Cena even went one step further and posted the exact moment where Samoa Joe gave the salute onto his Instagram account,
05:50recognizing the tribute to him.
05:51Next up, wrestlers break character to tribute John Cena.
05:55A WWE has now recently released a video of various WWE superstars giving their respect to John Cena.
06:01Most notably, Drew McIntyre does the You Can't See Me Taunt.
06:05The Miz wrote a message saying Let's Go Cena.
06:07Seth Rollins even did the You Can't See Me Taunt.
06:09Roman Reigns acknowledged John Cena saying Thank You John.
06:13And probably the best was Brock Lesnar, who mentioned I Can See You.
06:16A lovely and touching tribute to one of the greatest of all time.
06:20This Saturday is definitely going to be emotional.
06:23Next up, a shock name wants a WWE return.
06:26But could Tyler Breeze be about to return to WWE in an in-ring role?
06:29Breeze recently spoke to Real Appreciation and he confirmed that his in-ring days aren't done
06:33and he'd be more than happy to return to WWE.
06:36I'm not sure.
06:37I mean, that's, you know, obviously not my call.
06:40You know, if there was ever a spot or, you know, an idea where they said,
06:45Hey, man, are you interested in this?
06:48Yeah, you know, I don't see why not.
06:50It's not one of those things where, you know, I'm still active.
06:53I'm still wrestling around.
06:54I'm just thinking about all sorts of stuff.
06:56So, you know, it's very, very possible.
06:58It's just a matter of, it's up to them if they want it to happen.
07:01Prince Pretty returned to the ring earlier in the year in a stellar NXT match versus Ethan Page.
07:06So, Breeze still has what it takes to hang with the modern-day WWE roster.
07:10Next up, the truth behind a WWE exit.
07:13A former WWE star, Andrade, has finally broken his silence when it comes to his now infamous WWE departure.
07:19Andrade spoke to Eduardo Bates and according to Andrade, he missed a call from WWE due to being on a day trip
07:24and this naturally set off a string of events that have already been documented.
07:28I was traveling and they called me.
07:30What happened was that I had a day trip because I was not scheduled and they called me.
07:33I returned the call in about one or two hours, but nothing to do with the fact that I didn't want to answer or that I disappeared.
07:39It was one, two, three hours that I didn't answer and it was just the company sending me a message that where are you and things like that.
07:45I don't know who got that story that I didn't want to answer.
07:48I was out of the country.
07:49Andrade would also discuss the ongoing legal situation with WWE
07:53and according to Andrade, he's received a legal letter from WWE following his AEW appearance.
07:58Now his lawyers are in talk with WWE to remedy this situation.
08:02After my appearance in AEW and that I was in the crash and won the heavyweight championship in Tijuana on that Monday,
08:07I received a letter from the WWE company where it said that I had a 12-month non-compete clause.
08:12My lawyers are currently in talks with WWE to reach the best deal.
08:16Now this is such a messy situation and hopefully it's resolved relatively soon so Andrade can continue wrestling on television.
08:22Next up, a wrestler fight was confirmed to be real.
08:25It's been somewhat of an urban legend that Andrade and Sammy Guevara had a backstage fight in AEW.
08:30But now Andrade during his media rounds has now confirmed the validity of the rumors
08:33and even went into great detail when it came to what happened.
08:36Speaking to El Ring, Andrade stated,
08:38I ran into him alone in the bathroom.
08:41I said,
08:41Do you have a problem with me?
08:42He told me,
08:43No, everything's fine.
08:44On Tuesday, the company put us in a group chat and asked us not to make anything public.
08:48They told us,
08:49Please don't escalate this.
08:50We've had many problems lately.
08:52I was already upset and when I saw him backstage,
08:54I went up and boom,
08:55right to the head.
08:56Yes, we fought.
08:57Yes, punches were thrown,
08:59but no one really saw what happened.
09:00Just a few people.
09:01Russ,
09:01Jose, my assistant and someone from private party.
09:04Only they know what really happened.
09:06Andrade would add that Mark Henry had to calm him down,
09:08which he admits he was extremely grateful for.
09:11Whilst Andrade is entitled to share his story,
09:13it's not the best look for him to be sharing this story publicly.
09:17Andrade is currently eyeing up a return to AEW once the WWE legal dispute is settled,
09:21and he is in essence sharing previously unknown information that occurred backstage within the
09:25company.
09:26It may have made more sense to remain completely silent and then keep the story completely confidential.
09:31Next up,
09:32Cody Rhodes urges WWE to make change.
09:34A reigning WWE champion at Cody Rhodes has urged WWE to stop over-relying on legends for big shows.
09:41During his latest podcast episode,
09:43Rhodes admitted that he hates nostalgia and he takes issue with legends constantly coming back
09:48and WWE failing to move forward.
09:50I hate nostalgia,
09:51but I love my business.
09:53I already know what all these guys did for us.
09:56They've set the table that I got to eat at,
09:57but man,
09:58they can't keep coming back.
09:59From a wrestling perspective,
10:01we have to move forward.
10:02I don't want them coming back.
10:03I don't mean any disrespect.
10:05I want them to come to a show,
10:06sit and watch a show.
10:08Watch what they've done for the business.
10:09I don't think enough people are in the pursuit of greatness,
10:12and they're afraid to say it.
10:13These are really interesting comments,
10:15and it's easy to see where he's coming from.
10:17WWE can be,
10:18at times,
10:18over-reliant on legends,
10:20so it's appreciated that the face of the company acknowledges this,
10:23and has urged WWE to move forward.
10:25Next up,
10:26WWE to shatter records.
10:28The tickets for the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia went on sale yesterday,
10:32and to say that demand was through the roof would be an understatement.
10:35According to numerous names on X,
10:37the digital queue was so excessive that up to 750,000 fans were in line for tickets.
10:43This means that the show is likely to sell out already,
10:46and WWE could potentially be looking at the fastest sellout in company history.
10:50WWE have been able to deliver limited marketing for the event,
10:53as the Rumble traditionally sells itself.
10:55They've released an official poster for the event,
10:57and this poster confirmed that names such as Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns will be appearing on the show.
11:02Both of these names are extremely popular in Saudi Arabia,
11:05so this definitely played a big factor in demand for the show being so insanely high.
11:10We're likely going to be facing a similar situation when WWE presents Wrestlemania in Saudi Arabia in 2027.
11:17And finally,
11:18a legend returning at Saturday night's main event.
11:20Our final story today looks at the news relating to a legend returning to WWE television,
11:25this weekend.
11:26According to WrestleVotes via X,
11:28Jesse the Body Ventura is set to appear on the big Saturday night's main event special this weekend.
11:33After not appearing at the last Saturday night's main event,
11:35Jesse the Body Ventura is set for Washington DC this weekend,
11:39as a big John Cena send-off show approaches.
11:41Now whilst fans are excited on social media,
11:43it's pretty much a common consensus that Cena's final match should be called by Michael Cole and Wade Barrett,
11:48as Cole has called virtually every single big Cena match throughout his career,
11:52and the history between Barrett and Cena speaks for itself.
11:56But there you have it folks,
