Former F1 driver Romain Grosjean spoke about the regulation changes and how it will affect the sport
Transcript
00:00So yeah, 2026 big rule change. No one really knows how it's going to go. It's such a big change that everyone has tried to keep it as quiet as they could. The driver is going to do a lot of simulator work during the winter. They will have test days early in February, I believe, in Spain before going to Bahrain and then the first race of the season.
00:23We will see the first comments that I could hear in the paddock. They're not very positive about the cars and the change. But again, we've so many times seen negative comments and actually a really good racing post those comments that I think what really matters is not what lap time the cars are going to be doing on track, but it's what show are we going to put on.
00:47And that was the idea of 2026 regulation. Definitely very different from engine, from aerodynamic, from cars. The good thing is the car getting lighter, a little bit smaller. They got so big and so heavy that that's going to help racing.
