00:00...to fund the Green New Deal and for climate change.
00:02And those were rededucted to true mitigation efforts.
00:05FEMA today is deploying resources two times faster on average than in history,
00:10which means the dollars are going out twice as fast than they ever have before.
00:13And the president, as soon as these disasters are happening, is deploying those resources
00:17to Republican and Democrat states.
00:20New Mexico, Texas, Alaska, they're all getting dollars immediately
00:24and we're responding immediately to our people.
00:26I have to actually leave this hearing early because the FEMA Review Council
00:30is giving their report today on suggestions for changes to FEMA.
00:34Thank you for not taking your foot off the gas on that.
00:35I have to co-chair it, but I will be leaving soon to have to go do that.
00:39But those suggestions are Republicans and Democrats coming forward
00:43with how FEMA should go forward in the future based on the president's vision
00:47for making sure that states get the chance to manage it
00:50and that local emergency managers get the chance to go and help their communities
00:54in a much more efficient way.
00:55Take those monies and let's move them to true national security
00:57through waste and inefficiencies.

01:26Great, great hearing.
01:28How do we preserve?
01:29What ideas can we continue with to where the online enticement threats
01:34causing people to want to embolden themselves
01:38to then go act upon those threats that we see in social media?
01:42They say the magic words.
01:44They know it's not going to get them because they don't do a direct threat,
01:47but it's an indirect threat.
01:48It's always trying to accomplish the same purpose.
01:50How do we preserve the First Amendment?
01:51This is a lawmaking exercise of why we hold these hearings, not for show.
01:55How do we come up with a way to preserve the First Amendment
01:59and stop the insanity of these indirect threats
02:01that are going after your law enforcement officials?
02:03I apologize, gentlemen's time.
02:09I know the secretary has to leave,
02:11and I would now recognize a gentle lady from Texas, Ms. Johnson,
02:19for five minutes of questions.
02:24I'm just going to take the position that you're scared of my questions.
02:27Mr. Chairman, if we could stop the clock and wait until after all this.
02:33The clerk will suspend.
02:36If we could reset the time, that would be helpful.
02:39We'll reset the clock.
02:48Gentle lady, prepare.
02:50I love you.
03:15I love you.
