00:05compounds. Unacceptable. Over three months later, these restrictions remain. Unacceptable. Both men

00:12and women colleagues continue to help their affected communities, but the absence of women

00:17from the workplace serves as yet another tragic reminder of the unacceptable restrictions that

00:24Afghan women continue to face. In late October, a further restriction was imposed. Almost all

00:29national women humanitarian workers were prohibited from operating at the Islam Kala reception

00:35center along the Iranian border, where thousands of returns have been reported daily. This

00:41has limited women's access to essential protection and health services. We've secured the resumption

00:47of work for a small number of female health staff, and limited life-saving health services

00:53have been restored, but other operations still remain suspended.
