00:26There's been an evolution and a devolution in my particular character. He starts off, I think, as someone who's kind of showing Jake Sully the way. By the time we get to this film, in many respects, it's Jake Sully who's showing Quaritch the way. They're mirrors of each other, both the good, the bad, and the ugly.
00:49The deeper we get into the saga, I think the more complicated the relationship becomes. So I think that's a very general answer, but it's all I got right now. Sam?
01:03I think Jake has always had a complex duality. In the first movie, he was torn between being a human or being an Avatar or a Na'vi. Second movie, he was torn between being a warrior and being a father.
01:17And in this movie, he's torn between the past and remaining a soldier and dealing with life that way or taking up the mantle in his destiny of being the great leader of the clans. So I've always enjoyed that evolution and how it builds and builds in the saga.
