00:00What?
00:01Everybody's got Floobie.
00:03Obviously, if I have people who can dance,
00:05I would love for them to dance.
00:07I think he made a poor decision,
00:09and she shouldn't have let me live.
00:11I don't think that walking out on your teammates
00:14in the middle of the week is OK.
00:16We all miss Audrey a lot.
00:17I'm really sorry, guys.
00:19This dance is about sad brides,
00:21and you're giving me nothing.
00:22I know you all know someone who's
00:24gone through a breakup before, so pull from that
00:26if you have to.
00:27Audrey, what?
00:28Nothing stops.
00:31Your advanced small group winners are something old,
00:35something new, something new, something new.
00:38Audrey, you had a little meltdown.
00:40Well, maybe if her teacher wouldn't have made her upset.
00:43I'm so disappointed in you.
00:45Tammy, I do a lot of things that I
00:46could be disappointed in you for, too,
00:48including letting your kid get away with it,
00:50and that's why she doesn't learn.
00:51Tammy's days of being exempt from everything are numbered.
01:00I'm up to here with Audrey and Tammy.
01:06It's been constant distractions.
01:08I want to just keep things calm, keep things cohesive,
01:12get through this season so there's no more disruption to this team,
01:15and they don't have any more chaos.
01:18The problem is Tammy doesn't think Audrey does any wrong, dance-related or not.
01:24I swear.
01:25Hopefully, Audrey being on probation again this week will put a stop to Tammy's pattern
01:29of causing a huge drama fest every time Audrey isn't the lead or she gets a dance correction.
01:35I mean, the week she quit, she wasn't the lead, and I don't think that's a coincidence.
01:39I think the best thing for Audrey is to be here and focus on dance.
01:44We just need to say a prayer that we survived these last three weeks before nationals.
01:48Woo! The big trophy!
01:53How do you feel about, like, how the competition ended with me and Kaylee kind of getting into an argument?
01:58I don't like to see you guys fight because that can, like, mess up, like, my relationship with them.
02:03Audrey, your relationship with them will never change no matter what.
02:07Glow and Kaylee love you.
02:09Even if I had a fight with them or are falling out, the love for you would never change,
02:13so I don't want you ever to think that.
02:15Okay.
02:16I like that my mom defends me, but sometimes I think it's best that, like, you just don't say anything at all.
02:24Ashley!
02:26Welcome back, Ashley!
02:28Um, I'm really excited to be back in the studio, especially because I was sick last week,
02:32but I was just a little bit confused because when I see Audrey,
02:35the last that we heard is that, um, she quit the team.
02:39Okay, go stretch.
02:41It's just, like, it's gonna stop.
02:43Your hair's, like, fly a ways. I don't care.
02:45Use this.
02:46No, that one hurts.
02:47All right.
02:48Ashley!
02:49I'm trying to stretch your form.
02:52Hey, you can stretch.
02:53I can do it while you're stretching.
02:55I think you can stretch it.
02:56Let me get this one on the side.
03:00Ashley, stop.
03:02Hey, everyone!
03:03Time for pyramid.
03:04I already did it.
03:05I don't know.
03:06How are we all feeling?
03:07Good.
03:08I'm not sure if the three of you who were missing last week heard, but Audrey's back, and we got our sixth group win in a row.
03:25The further this winning streak goes, the scarier it kind of gets, right?
03:32We have the potential to have an undefeated season, but I still haven't seen this group dance to the best of their ability.
03:40On that note, pyramid.
03:47Smiley.
03:51Ashlyn.
03:57Lily.
03:58You were all sick last week, and you didn't dance.
04:01And last on the bottom row, Audrey, you danced well, still on probation.
04:11You had a little meltdown, and you threw off the group.
04:14You could have just taken a minute to calm down, focus on the task at hand, which is go on stage.
04:21Either that or you should have politely removed yourself.
04:24Not disrupt the kids right before they went on.
04:27At the end of the day, we are setting them up to be people that can work professionally.
04:32That's the point.
04:33Well, she was upset, and I'm just asking that you are a little sensitive to your little sister who is going through a really hard time in your life.
04:40And I want you to think about your family and how hard it is going through something difficult.
04:46Yeah, Tammy, everybody goes through hard things in their life.
04:50I was a kid when my parents separated too, but I still remained professional and kept my composure when I was at dance.
04:57Audrey has been in my life for a decade now.
05:00I know that Audrey has what it takes to become a real professional dancer, but I'm trying to get it to sink in with her that the older you get, the harder you have to train.
05:08And she's not training more. She's training less.
05:10And the reason for that is Tammy.
05:12With all the distractions that she's caused, Tammy needs to get out of my way, get out of her daughter's way, so that I can help her become the professional dancer that she says she wants to be.
05:20I can't understand how you can come down on her because her reaction to bringing up something that is very awful for her in her life right now.
05:30This is where she should be loved and supported.
05:33And she most certainly is, which is why she wants to be here, I think.
05:36Audrey, you're allowed to be upset, but if I can help you learn to focus that emotion into your dance while remaining professional, you'll be unstoppable.
05:45Your mom's not getting that point.
05:48It makes sense why they would want me on probation.
05:51It makes sense why they want to, like, test me for how I'm going to react to things.
05:56And I get it now.
05:57Me and my mom are just going through a lot.
05:59And I think it's, like, my right if it gets talked about.
06:02Or, like, my mom's right, I guess.
06:04But she's the one who keeps bringing it up.
06:06And I think that's, like, the problem.
06:08We're moving on.
06:10On the second row.
06:12Bellatrix.
06:14Bellatrix.
06:15The emotion was less than desirable.
06:22Next on the second row.
06:27Layla!
06:28I need to dive up!
06:29You did.
06:30You moved up a little bit.
06:31Layla, you did a good job in the group.
06:33You did a great job on your solo.
06:35Sometimes it's just not those judges' cup of tea.
06:41Last on the second row.
06:43You did a great job.
06:44You did a great job.
06:45Gina.
06:46Gina!
06:47Gina!
06:48Gina!
06:49You haven't been a standout emotionally.
06:50And I think that you're really getting there.
06:52Finally.
06:53You did a great job.
06:54I'm back once again, baby!
06:55On the top of the pyramid.
06:56Mia!
06:57Mia!
06:58We had a first place win by Mia.
06:59That was one of the best solo performances we've had on this team.
07:01And you performed ballet steps that you've never even heard of or done in your life.
07:05I'm so happy that I'm on top of the pyramid again because it's where I belong!
07:06We're in week seven of this season.
07:07And I'm looking to see who is going to be dancing at nationals.
07:08Nationals.
07:09Nationals is three weeks away.
07:10Nationals is three weeks away.
07:11And with everything that's been going on, I'm looking to see who is going to be dancing
07:12at nationals.
07:13Nationals is three weeks away.
07:14And with everything that's been going on, I'm looking to see who is going to be dancing
07:18at nationals.
07:19Nationals is three weeks away.
07:20And with everything that's been going on with this team, I haven't even had a chance
07:26to think that far ahead.
07:27So starting this week, I really need to keep my eyes on all of these girls to see who
07:32are going to be dancing at nationals.
07:34We're so happy that I'm on top of the pyramid again because it's where I belong!
07:37We're in week seven of this season, and I'm looking to see who is going to be dancing
07:43at nationals.
07:44Nationals is three weeks away.
07:45And with everything that's been going on with this team, I haven't even had a chance to
07:48to see who is ready to have a featured role at nationals
07:51and who is capable of helping Project X
07:54win its first national championship.
07:56This week, we will have two solos.
08:00First solo...
08:03is going to Ashlyn.
08:07Your solo is called
08:09The Declaration of Independence.
08:11Second solo is going to Lily.
08:14Lily, your solo is called The Flower Queen.
08:19Lily has had a rough few weeks.
08:21I wanted to be proud of myself.
08:25You should have been proud of yourself.
08:26And it has been disappointing that Ashlyn
08:29hasn't lived up to that performance at nationals last season.
08:33But I'm looking to see who can have a breakout performance
08:37and handle the pressure of nationals.
08:39So maybe they're the ones.
08:40The two of you will be competing against each other.
08:44And this might be your only chance.
08:48This week's group is called Ballet Boys.
08:52We're having a little bit of a redo.
08:55Redemption week.
08:56Gina and Bellatrix will be dancing on point.
08:59Audrey, you will be the lead of the ballet dance.
09:04And you will be on point too.
09:07And Kaylee is doing the choreography.
09:12Right now, you're on probation.
09:13I want to make it very clear, yes, you are the lead.
09:16Because we deserve to see you fight for your life
09:19to be on this team.
09:21Last season, I choreographed a ballet number,
09:23and I was really excited about it.
09:24It was going to be great.
09:25And then my lead, Audrey, did not make it on stage
09:29because she injured her foot backstage.
09:31Want an ambulance?
09:32I want someone now.
09:34I love a piss.
09:35I think it was her easy way of getting out of it
09:37because she was nervous.
09:38And it was just the perfect excuse.
09:42Your job this week is to go lead this team
09:46to a ballet victory.
09:50I think Audrey does know that she is so much better
09:54than other girls in the group.
09:56So we want to challenge her because I think
09:59that will keep her more focused on dance
10:02and not about what's going on around her.
10:04Well, she's definitely going to be challenged this week.
10:06The whole dance is really hard technically,
10:08but especially Audrey's part.
10:10You guys ready?
10:11Let's get stretched.
10:12Let's help you guys get out.
10:15Do not come in there.
10:18Oh, get your hands in.
10:22Here we are again having to really count on Audrey.
10:26And it seems like you're sitting here,
10:28like, everybody's friend, everything's hunky-dory.
10:31I feel like you've done a really good job
10:32of, like, making me forget what happened
10:35because I haven't seen you in a while,
10:36and I am happy to see you.
10:38But the last time I saw you, you were the one
10:40who was accusing us of stuff that, like, honestly
10:42hurt my feelings.
10:44What I don't want to do is walk my child
10:47into an environment where we're not
10:49being welcomed back with open and loving arms.
10:52We love Audrey.
10:54We've been saying that time and time again.
10:56It's honestly upsetting to us that you're
10:58having this perspective.
10:59It was hurtful.
11:01Yeah, I know.
11:02I came at you guys really defensive,
11:03and I was hoping for a little grace because Audrey's 14
11:08and, you know, going through stuff.
11:11I don't know who she thinks she is.
11:13All of us have done nothing but support her and Audrey.
11:19I mean, I think that we have been empathetic
11:22and supportive of you, and all we want
11:24is the best for you and Audrey.
11:25But it's just so hard because this has happened, like,
11:27multiple times over multiple years,
11:30like, even before the divorce.
11:32I just want you to know how your actions affected you guys.
11:35Affected.
11:36I'm really sorry.
11:38I feel awful.
11:39I love you guys, and I love your children.
11:41I'm sorry.
11:42I don't know what else I can say.
11:43You guys can keep telling me what I did wrong,
11:46and I know I did wrong.
11:47I know I am wrong.
11:48Tammy gets overwhelmed by any little thing,
11:51and when she's doing the waterworks game,
11:54it's hard for me to have a conversation.
11:56But the problem is we can never hold her accountable
11:59if she's always crying.
12:01It makes us look like the bad guys.
12:03This is emotional manipulation at its finest.
12:07I'm sorry.
12:11I feel for Tammy having to deal with the repercussions
12:14of what the other moms are feeling.
12:16But I think Tammy is getting way too much for this.
12:21Audrey needed space, and she did what she thought was right.
12:25There's just a lot going through her head,
12:26and I know she feels guilty.
12:28I think there's a little bit of regret,
12:31but at the end of the day, Tammy's
12:32going to do what Tammy's going to do.
12:38Well, it's so fun to be back.
12:40One big happy family.
12:43Can I just ask one silly question?
12:45What the is hunky-dory?
12:49For the rest of this week, you can't rely on your mom
12:52for anything.
12:52You get to do it all on your own.
12:54I'm just a kid.
12:55That's just called a dance mom, it's not just a daughter.
12:59I want to prove myself to Ms. Glow.
13:00I want to get a solo at the Nationals.
13:02It just gets, like, a little stressful.
13:03Nancy nailed this solo with everything else going on
13:06and all the pressure.
13:07Well, it's the only way.
13:08What?
13:09Why are they just killing you?
13:11I'm failing so freaking much to just kick us off.
13:15More boys have fun.
13:16This dance has so many things right now.
13:18I feel like I'm about to go to war.
13:24The group dance this week is called Ballet Boys.
13:28It is inspired by the movie Mad Max.
13:32You will be portraying post-apocalyptic soldiers
13:36who will go to any length to survive.
13:39There's going to be a lot going on.
13:41It's going to be intense.
13:41It's going to be strong.
13:43And I know Kaylee well enough to know
13:44she's going to make this really, really hard,
13:46because ballet is either right or it is wrong.
13:4999% right is wrong.
13:52Kaylee is a phenomenal ballet teacher,
13:55and I'm happy to have her taking the lead on choreography,
13:58because she knows what hard work it takes to get to the top.
14:03People who don't grow up and do all this,
14:05they have no concept that ballet is so much harder
14:08than other forms.
14:08Like, they have no idea that this is super impressive.
14:12I mean, I can imagine wearing those pointe shoes
14:14for an extended amount of time.
14:16It starts to hurt your feet.
14:17One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
14:22Eight, not nine.
14:24I have a reputation in the ballet community.
14:26And last year, I set a number on these girls.
14:28That was supposed to be a really big moment
14:30for me as a choreographer.
14:31And the version that ended up going on stage
14:34was a complete disaster and nothing I was proud of at all.
14:39Audrey injured herself before she went on stage
14:41when she was practicing her scorpion.
14:43They all had to learn new parts, and Bellatrix stepped in.
14:46But the version of the scorpion that she did on stage,
14:49a lot of people do on stage.
14:51But Audrey is totally advanced enough
14:53to be able to do this scorpion on pointe.
14:55But with all the distractions this season,
14:57she has lost a lot of technique and a lot of flexibility.
14:59So it's really going to be hard for her to get this.
15:02We're not thinking about our technique as much as we can.
15:04But your body was going all over the place.
15:05And I think that you need to practice a scorpion at home
15:08as much as you can.
15:09You have to be better than you've ever danced on this team,
15:12more ever.
15:13I think this is definitely your most important performance
15:15on this team by far.
15:17I'm really excited to have this challenge this week
15:18because I have to do a scorpion on pointe.
15:20And as you get older, like, you grow and your muscles start
15:23to, like, get harder to, like, stretch.
15:25So I'm going to have to work really, really hard
15:27if I'm going to want to even come close to doing a scorpion.
15:30But I do really look up to Miss Kaylee,
15:33and I want to make her proud knowing that she's the one
15:35who basically taught me ballet.
15:42Audrey, you have to stop.
15:46It's not here and then crash down and then try
15:48to pop right after.
15:49Wherever you're going to step, step.
15:51Oh, yes.
15:52Don't.
15:53I went like that, and I hit my shoe, and I came home.
15:55I'm sorry.
15:56So girls on pointe, they need to ice their feet tonight.
15:59It hurts so much.
16:01I can't feel the top of my shell.
16:02OK.
16:03Do you want me to help you and stretch?
16:11No.
16:13Are you getting annoyed now?
16:14Stop asking so many questions.
16:16We're the only ones here.
16:18I'm not going to sit here in silence.
16:19Just talk to the wall or something.
16:21Hi, wall.
16:22How do you think your solo is going to be today, wall?
16:25Wall doesn't have a solo.
16:27I feel like she's just, like, annoying me to annoy me.
16:29I mean, the wall doesn't talk back.
16:33Yeah, the wall doesn't talk at all.
16:35Good morning.
16:37Solo week.
16:38Our favorite week.
16:40Mm.
16:41Ash, Lily, Corinne, Lisa.
16:44Come on in.
16:47Oh.
16:47Hello.
16:48Good morning, Miss Flo.
16:49Hi, ladies.
16:50We're going to start solo rehearsal.
16:52Two of you are going head to head,
16:54so you're going to be against each other.
16:56Both of you have potential to win,
16:59but I expect one and two.
17:01My expectations for Lily and Ashlyn are really high this week
17:06because they each have their own set of unique skills
17:09that are fascinating to watch, but neither one of them
17:11has had a breakout performance this season.
17:13I think a big part of that is because of the way
17:16their moms affect them.
17:17All right, so, Corinne, I don't want you dumping any of your
17:20anxiety on Lily this week, OK?
17:23Ashlyn, does your mother drive you crazy sometimes?
17:26Yeah, but she just kind of, like, says, like, things over
17:30and over again.
17:31And she tries to be funny, but it's just, like,
17:32kind of annoying.
17:37She's, like, really annoying.
17:41She hasn't said a word.
17:43She thinks she's helping, but she's not.
17:46She's making things worse.
17:48I think she probably...
17:49And I don't know why you're about to start laughing
17:51because nothing's funny.
17:52I'm not laughing!
17:53I can see her in the mirror!
17:55Calm down!
17:56Can you stop laughing?
18:00Wow.
18:01Your mom hasn't done a thing since she walked into this room.
18:04When you're, like, a teenager, like, you're kind of, like,
18:06growing up and, like, you have, like, a lot of emotions
18:08and, like, sometimes when, like, your mom's, like, bugging you,
18:11it kind of makes you mad and stuff like that.
18:12And, like, you're kind of, like, very sensitive
18:14because it's hard being a teenager.
18:16So this is what I need you to do.
18:18I want you to go make a list of all the things
18:21your mom does to annoy you, okay?
18:24Lisa, I want you to make a list of all the things
18:26you do for Ashlyn.
18:27We'll come back in and we'll talk about them, okay?
18:30All right. Thank you.
18:31Okay, thank you.
18:32Ashlyn, fun!
18:33We're gonna have fun!
18:38Lily, you're gonna be the flower queen.
18:41Everybody's like, oh, she's beautiful, she's beautiful.
18:43But underneath, there's this sinister, dark character.
18:47So it's all about, maybe, this internal struggle
18:49of the good side of you and the evil side of you.
18:52So you need to think about that when the music turns dark.
18:55Does that make sense?
18:55I really, really like my dance.
18:57I'm, like, still, like, a little unsure about this.
18:59Like, I kind of understand it.
19:00But I want to prove myself to Ms. Glow.
19:03I want to get this to the Nationals.
19:04It just gets, like, a little stressful.
19:06Keep everything strong, even if it's easy.
19:08It's got to have energy behind it.
19:10Karinny, you have to not bother Lily today.
19:13Like, stay away from Lily because she's peace of your energy.
19:18Is this anxiety or happy tears?
19:21Anxiety.
19:23Dude.
19:24She's your own worst enemy.
19:27You cannot lose your mind this week.
19:29I know.
19:30I mean, her last solo, she forgot it on stage.
19:32I forgot the ending.
19:33I'm just involved.
19:34We're so close to Nationals.
19:35You can't do that again.
19:36You're great when you're in your comfort zone.
19:37But I want to see more of the character now.
19:39Make every step matter.
19:40This is her shot.
19:41This is a really big deal.
19:42This isn't, like, oh, it's just one dance.
19:44It's not.
19:45Glow's going to use these performances to help her choose who
19:46she wants to represent the team at National.
19:48I'll do my best to hold back my anxiety from stressing Lily out.
19:51But if I think that she needs that extra push and motivation,
19:53I'm her mom, and I'm going to give it to her.
19:55Can she nail this solo with everything else going on
19:56and all the pressure?
19:58Dance mom Corrine.
19:59A little intense.
20:16I'll be scared of you if you were my dance mom.
20:18I don't think I'm scary.
20:20I don't think I'm scary.
20:21I'm fun.
20:38She embarrassed me.
20:40She's cringy.
20:43Hello.
20:43What are you doing?
20:45Do you guys want to help me write some things out?
20:47Yes, yes, yes.
20:47OK, so she can say, she always says,
20:50dude, a lot to you.
20:51And she's just unfunny.
20:52Oh, she's very clueless.
20:54Oh, yeah, she's very clueless.
20:55Put like a bunch of exclamation points after that,
20:57because that's the biggest one, the main one.
21:00I know there's a lot of things that my mom does to annoy me,
21:02but I know that there was this many things.
21:05My friend just kept on writing.
21:08Hey, Ashley, Lisa, let's go.
21:12Oh, that's a long paper.
21:14How many pages you got?
21:16Four.
21:17How many do you have?
21:19One, I realized I had so much stuff.
21:22Lay it on me, kid.
21:23Let's hear what you got.
21:25She does weird dances.
21:27Always trying to help when not needed.
21:29Ruins my makeup.
21:30She always gives me bad pep talks.
21:33She doesn't give me an allowance.
21:35She doesn't have swag.
21:38She likes my dog more than me and my brother.
21:41And then that last one, you tell everyone
21:43everything that I do.
21:46All right, Lisa, let's hear yours.
21:47OK, I would be happy to read mine.
21:49Are you listening?
21:51OK.
21:52I buy her food, clothes, and shoes.
21:54I provide a roof over her head.
21:57I help her to save money for her future.
22:00I give her money when she asks for it because I love Ashlyn.
22:05And when Ashlyn's happy, I'm happy.
22:08Well, like, I'm not trying to be mean,
22:10but, like, it's kind of your job because you're my mom.
22:12I don't think you get it yet.
22:16I don't think you realize how much she really, really does
22:20and how much you might miss it if you
22:21didn't have her to do that.
22:23So for the rest of the week, you
22:25can't rely on your mom for anything.
22:28You get to do it all on your own.
22:30That should be a relief for you.
22:33OK, I love you.
22:36I think Ashlyn has convinced herself
22:38that she does not need her mother for anything.
22:41When Lisa is anywhere in Ashlyn's vicinity,
22:43all hell breaks loose.
22:45And it's usually right before she's
22:46about to go out on stage.
22:48And I don't know that Ashlyn will ever
22:50give her best performance unless she learns
22:52to coexist with her mother.
22:55Your dance is about someone who is trying
22:58to get her independence from her mother.
23:00And it's called Declaration of Independence.
23:04OK, you want to try the round off?
23:06When you go into it, don't push at all.
23:09Totally split.
23:11And then turn it out.
23:12I don't know if she's just, like, tween.
23:14But things that are just normal mom things about me
23:19irritate her, and, like, I don't really know why.
23:22It's that absolutely makes me sad.
23:24You're like her punching bag, because she
23:26knows you love her unconditionally.
23:27Yeah.
23:28Sometimes I feel like I need to let my kids struggle
23:30a little bit so that they can be independent.
23:33If she does struggle, are you going to fight
23:36the temptation to help her?
23:38So I'm going to have to try.
23:42Ashlyn just thinks a lot of the things I do for her are either
23:46overbearing or I'm not doing enough, which, you know, might be true.
23:50But there should be some level of, like, appreciation and not expectation.
23:56I'm hoping that this lesson can help us find what that middle ground is.
23:59This is a good style for you, and it's, like, I like seeing a little bit of a softer
24:04side of you rather than just, like, or crying or whatever.
24:08Find moments of happiness, even, in this, because you're making this decision for you.
24:13Okay.
24:14Okay.
24:15Let's put on costumes.
24:17There you go.
24:20Walk through the beginning.
24:23Here, let me have that before you destroy it.
24:26You're responsible for the wig, all your costume pieces.
24:29This has to be attached and not fall off.
24:31Okay.
24:32Okay.
24:33Got it?
24:34Mm-hmm.
24:35All right.
24:36Put that on real quick.
24:37What's the matter?
24:38I'm just, like, a little bit overwhelmed.
24:39I just don't need help with, like, my hand.
24:41I always appreciate when she does that.
24:42Do you tell her that?
24:43She'd like to know you appreciate that.
24:44Well, I don't say, like, the appreciate, but I say thank you.
24:45Okay.
24:46Go see your mom.
24:47It's okay.
24:48It's okay.
24:49Take a deep breath.
24:50It's okay.
24:51You're right.
24:52Can we do all these things?
24:53Okay.
24:54Okay.
24:55I can't do that.
24:56I'm just a kid.
24:57I don't like to remember my...
24:59Bring my costume.
25:00I have so many other things that I have to worry about.
25:02And this is called dance moms, not just a daughter.
25:05I don't like to know you appreciate that.
25:07I don't like to know you appreciate that.
25:09I don't like to know you appreciate that.
25:11Well, I don't feel like the pretty part, but I say thank you.
25:14Okay.
25:15Go see your mom.
25:16It's not just a daughter.
25:18You're here for a reason.
25:19Mom, are you gonna help me this weekend?
25:22I'm not sure yet.
25:24For me, it just feels like you never need my help.
25:28Let's see how it goes, okay?
25:46Let's see how it goes.
25:47Let's see how it goes.
25:48Let's see how it goes.
25:49Let's see how it goes.
25:54Winning this week is more important than ever for some of these girls.
25:57Ashlyn and Lily will be going head-to-head in solos, and I'm hoping this gives me a really good indication of who is prepared for nationals.
26:05I need the hairspray and I need the brush.
26:08This group dance is a second chance for me to show what I can do as a choreographer, but it's also a chance for Audrey to show what she's capable of as a ballet dancer.
26:16This is Audrey's chance at redemption, but Kaylee is very proud of this piece, so I think that it will be a huge disappointment to her if they don't pull it off.
26:24If you're not doing a solo this morning, go get bald.
26:29Lily, you know, you can brush your own hair.
26:31You know what's becoming so much more obvious to me?
26:33What?
26:34How much Lily needs her mom.
26:35She does, and she's respectful about it.
26:38I wouldn't throw stones, Lisa.
26:39We're just observing.
26:41Okay.
26:42It's really tight.
26:44One thing I've learned this week with Ashlyn is she is more independent.
26:48As a mom, it's, like, hard to make that transition.
26:51It's just perfect.
26:52I need to know when to let go, too, but...
26:55Oh, yeah, I got it.
26:56She's doing great.
26:57I did it without my mom.
26:58You're doing a fantastic job, honey.
27:00This is the first time I've stood in my wig on my own.
27:02I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing.
27:04I'm a little bit scared because, like, I don't want to fall off.
27:07I just fucked my ear.
27:09I kind of wish I had some help right now.
27:12Ashlyn needs to know what it feels like to be independent, so I need to give her space.
27:19How do I tie this?
27:22Mom.
27:23She stepped out, sweetie.
27:25You can do it.
27:26You got it.
27:27Ashley, you can't figure it out, baby.
27:28Because I want to be, like, stretching and stuff.
27:29Okay.
27:30Well, then hurry up.
27:31Then you can.
27:32Okay.
27:33You got it.
27:34Just take the bobby pin in.
27:35You're good.
27:36It's kind of unfair because, like, Lily doesn't really have that many things that she needs to do.
27:51But I had to, like, put on, like, all these, like, accessories.
27:55And, like, I had to do my hair.
27:57And I have to put on this hat.
27:58And it's hard to get ready for, like, being by myself.
28:01I feel like I'm going to do bad.
28:03You know how important this is, right?
28:08This is your opportunity to show this glow.
28:11Okay?
28:12We've been waiting for this.
28:13Why are you scaring me?
28:14Why are you scaring me?
28:15I don't understand.
28:16What?
28:17I don't understand.
28:18I know.
28:19I'm just trying to help you.
28:20Corinne, give her some space.
28:22Free Lily.
28:25Lily's biggest challenge is to not crack under the pressure of her mother.
28:29She wants everything perfect, and she expects Lily to be perfect.
28:32She's not going to be.
28:33We're getting down to the end of the season.
28:36There's a lot on the line for both of you.
28:38Whoever scores the highest keeps you in the running for a solo at nationals.
28:43May the best man win.
28:45Everyone wants a solo at nationals because it's a huge honor.
28:49Studios from all over put their best dancers up to compete.
28:53And big-time choreographers and casting directors watch those performances online.
28:58Kids go viral off of this.
29:01If Lily and Ashlyn want to earn a solo there,
29:04it starts with them overcoming their issues here.
29:07Up next, we have Ashlyn with Decoration of Independence.
29:10I was nervous about doing it on my own and getting ready by myself,
29:25but I really want Miss Go to be proud of me,
29:27and I want to show her that I can have a lead at nationals.
29:29Next, we have Ashlyn with Decoration of Independence.
29:32Woo!
29:33Woo!
29:34Woo!
29:35Woo!
29:36Woo!
29:37Woo!
29:38Woo!

29:41Woo!
29:42Woo!
29:43Woo!
29:46Woo!
29:47Woo!
29:48Woo!
29:50Woo!
29:51Woo!
29:53Woo!
29:54Woo!
29:55Woo!
29:58Take this right
30:23Now I'm standing
30:28Won't let this pass me by
30:31I'll come alive
30:33So I'm gonna stand my ground
30:36Got something to believe in
30:38Even if I fall back down
30:42Nothing's gonna stop me now
30:44Cause now I'm fucking fool
30:50Cause now I'm fucking fool
30:54I'm proud of myself and I'm happy that like I accomplished all these things this week
31:11And my way stayed on
31:13But I still need my mom sometimes
31:19I know this solo is perfect for me
31:21So like I want to do it extra good
31:23I'm just really nervous
31:27Corrine, clean your camera
31:29A little blurry
31:30What?
31:31Clean your camera
31:32It's dirty
31:35One job
31:36Up next we have Lily Flower Queen
31:38Thank you
32:26Oh.
33:26Amazing.
33:27I'm so proud of you.
33:28I'm so proud of you, too.
33:29I'm so proud of you, too.
33:30I'm so proud of you.
33:33Hopefully none of us can yell that.
33:35Jeremy and Lily made a song after our solos last year,
33:37and we were like, we hope that we don't get yelled at.
33:39We hope that we don't get yelled at.
33:41We hope that we don't get yelled at.
33:43Ashlyn was great, but I'm just so impressed with Lily right now.
33:46Even though I wasn't completely able to stop acting anxious around her, she still killed it.
33:51She's not only a strong dancer, but she has strong work ethic, and that's a huge asset for our team.
33:57I was just, like, so focused because I'm not letting myself do it wrong.
34:01Once I hit the ending pose, my heart rate went from, like, 10 million to 100.
34:08Yay!
34:09Good job, girl.
34:12Good job.
34:13Yes.
34:14Amazing.
34:15Good girl.
34:16I feel good.
34:17I've seen that.
34:18Oh, I see smiles.
34:19That makes me happy.
34:20How do you feel?
34:21Good.
34:22Ashlyn, did you feel calmer doing all this on your own?
34:25Um, I guess, like, I learned throughout the week that, like, I don't show my mom, like,
34:30enough appreciation, and, like, I don't think I realize how much she actually helps me,
34:35and I think I just, like, take advantage of that.
34:38I'm sorry for, like, not, like...
34:43I love you.
34:46I'm sorry for, like, I guess taking advantage of you and not, like...
34:51I guess, like, appreciating what you do for me.
34:54I have to learn, too.
34:55I get it.
34:56I need to back off, too, a little bit.
34:58I love you so much.
35:00I got you.
35:01I got you always.
35:02You're gonna make me cry.
35:04This dance has so many things to write down.
35:07I'm, like, having heart palpitations.
35:09Ballet can only be perfect or it's wrong.
35:11And I'll be damned if they're gonna lose their winning streak with my choreography in my genre.
35:15Winchester!
35:17He just wants to make everything about her.
35:19I feel like I'm drowning.
35:20Like, I'm just so upset.
35:22I'm scared.
35:24Let's go, girls!
35:25Go, girls!
35:26Come on!
35:27Woo!
35:37Okay, war boys.
35:38Let's see what your makeup looks like.
35:40Oh!
35:41Oh, my God.
35:42Oh, my God.
35:43Oh, my God.
35:44I need everyone to get ready.
35:45There are a lot of pieces that have to go on the costume, also.
35:47I'm so bad.
35:48My war boy name is Rach.
35:50I'm a war boy.
35:51I'm not afraid of anything except for being good.
35:52I'm a little afraid of that.
35:53This is a huge way, Karine.
35:54This is kind of, like, the make or break week for me.
35:56Like, this is, like, my one shot to prove that, like, I deserve to be back.
36:00We don't want a repeat of last year, and it would be unreliable of me if I let any more
36:05things happen again.
36:06I want to get better, so I'm trying to work to get better.
36:09Audrey, go stretch.
36:10We're a scorpion.
36:11Can you pull me?
36:12Ugh!
36:13I love you, but I'm wearing all white.
36:14Go stretch.
36:15I'm sorry.
36:16I'm sorry.
36:17I'm sorry.
36:18I'm sorry.
36:19I'm sorry.
36:20I'm sorry.
36:21I'm sorry.
36:22I'm sorry.
36:23I'm sorry.
36:24I'm sorry.
36:25I'm sorry.
36:26I'm sorry.
36:27I'm sorry.
36:28I'm sorry.
36:29Audrey was having such a good week up until this moment, but at least we didn't have to
36:38call any ambulances.
36:39I'm not going to address this right now because I need Audrey to stay focused, and if we lose
36:44Audrey again, there is no revamping.
36:46I'm sorry.
36:47I'm sorry.
36:48I'm sorry.
36:49I'm sorry.
36:50I'm sorry.
36:51I'm sorry.
36:52I'm sorry.
36:53I'm sorry.
36:54I'm sorry.
36:55I'm sorry.
36:56I'm sorry.
36:57I'm sorry.
36:58I'm sorry.
36:59I can't be in this routine this time in five minutes.
37:00Okay.
37:01But if I had acted like that to you and you were Tammy in that situation, there would be
37:06a stretcher with your name on it.
37:08Yeah.
37:09100%.
37:10I'm a ballet dancer.
37:12It's what I'm known for.
37:13It's what people expect you guys to be the best at because I'm your teacher.
37:18This is the hardest dance that you've probably ever done.
37:21You are performing right now.
37:22Audrey, I'm counting on you.
37:24The dance as a whole is so good.
37:26But if one part of it isn't so good, then it's less than perfect.
37:30Ballet can only be perfect or it's wrong.
37:32Kill it, please.
37:33Wake up, guys!
37:34I'm, like, having heart palpitations.
37:35I'm freaking out a little bit.
37:36If they go on stage and don't get their best performance, I'm just gonna be really sad because
37:43it can be spectacular.
37:45I'll be damned if they're gonna lose their winning streak with my choreography in my genre.
37:51More boys!
37:52Half-life!
37:53More boys!
37:54This number has the potential to be one of the best routines that we've ever put on stage.
37:58It just all depends on them.
38:00This dance has so many things to write about.
38:03Like, it's my redemption from last year.
38:05I hit a mic guy and I had to go to the hospital.
38:09It's my redemption for probation.
38:12I'm scared.
38:13I feel like I'm about to go to war.
38:15Let's go, girls!
38:20Come on!
38:45Let's go!
38:47Let's go!
38:50Let's go!
38:51Let's go!
38:57Let's go!
39:15You're on the positive for this I did this is the right life. It's been slow looking straight on me like this
39:40How could you not see her actually went to war and got to see that I really thought it was good
39:48The line was so crooked literally the only thing I messed up was my scorpion, but I got it up
39:53Audrey's dreams were really good scorpion was not she should have been perfect this week
39:57That was her estimate to be perfect, and that was not perfect. That was not worth getting off probation
40:10Here we go juniors ages 9 to 12 overalls in fifth place copycat dance by camming
40:19Nationals is three weeks away and I need to think about who can handle the pressure and secure when when it matters the most
40:27If lily and ashlyn can't score high with the judges here. There's no way. They're gonna score high at nationals
40:32In fourth place
40:34Declaration of Independence project X dance company

41:29Congratulations

41:43It's getting bad again
41:45Dance by camming
41:47I felt bad for kaylee there were far too many mistakes in the group dance
41:51It was not the dance. I was expecting to see on stage
41:56Considering how the solos did I doubt we're even in a place
42:01And now in second place this is

42:59Let's have a round of applause
43:01For the ballet boys
43:03Take a bow
43:04Very good
43:07I'm kind of surprised that we won because I kind of just think it was luck
43:11I think you're going to need more than luck to win the nationals
43:15I don't really care because I just want to go to New York and I want to see Broadway shows
43:19And I want to be on Broadway because I want to keep going on the stage
43:22And I want to act and sing and I just really want to go to New York
43:25I can't wait
43:26It's going to be so fun
43:27Yay!
43:29We win!
43:30More putt!
43:31More putt!
43:31More putt!
43:32The good news is we are undefeated
43:42But guess what you have to do to stay there especially for nationals
43:46Do good
43:47And the words of the 10 year old do good
43:51You guys need to realize nationals is a whole different beast
43:56You're going to compete against some of the best dancers in the entire country
44:00Yay we got first
44:01Yay we have another trophy
44:02But I want better for you
44:04You should not have been scared out of your minds
44:06But from the second you walked on stage I could tell that you were
44:08It was a lot wrong
44:10Audrey you didn't hit scorpion
44:13You were wobbly before you ever went into it
44:16A smart dancer would not have tried to go up on point when they were falling over just standing on one leg
44:22Yeah I don't think you've done what you need to do to be off of probation unfortunately
44:27So you said that it was based on her behavior not on the dance
44:31I mean when she spoke to bella like that earlier that wasn't behaving
44:33Right yeah
44:34Audrey stretch yourself go go
44:36I need her to pull my legs
44:38Go go go
44:38Don't speak to her like that
44:40Yeah when she yelled at bella that was absolutely not good behavior
44:44You yelled at bella?
44:45She raised her voice
44:47Why did you talk like this?
44:48You did
44:49Audrey you did
44:50You did what you know you did
44:51No
44:52It's not what you said it's the way that you spoke to her
44:55I didn't realize like that it came out so like disrespectful as it like
45:03I think I just said it and I think it was just like in the moment like fast
45:07I appreciate your apology but let's just learn from this and move on
45:12You need to just you know take a breath
45:15All right um I need the girls I want you to pack up head out I want to talk to your moms for a bit
45:24Anyway as you all know next week we're competing in our hometown and I've been planning to include the dads
45:30What if their dad can't come I think the kids are going to be disappointed
45:38Well the kids will be disappointed but is there a punishment to them if their dad doesn't show up
45:43If their dad can't make it are they still part of the dance
45:45I never said that the kids are going to be punished
45:48I'm just worried about it because I'm trying to get Audrey's dad to come
45:51I have literally begged him which is so embarrassing that I have to beg him
45:57Now she's still in probation so there's still a punishment
46:00I feel like I'm drowning like I
46:03I don't I'm just so upset and I'm failing so freaking much
46:07I don't think it's something that we need to dwell on right now
46:09I think being upset here right now isn't going to help
46:13Just kick us off it's not mine
46:19I just ask simply that everybody does everything they can to get the dads to come yes
46:25Yes, thank you oh my god
46:28She just wants to make everything about her she is not ready to come back and be an asset to this team
46:33I'm not joking
46:39Studio blue closing tainted my reputation and being in our hometown trying to hold on to this undefeated season
46:48I don't think anyone really understands the pressure that I'm under
46:51You're dancing for the last time bellatrix
46:53Soon as the spotlight is on bellatrix she crumbles
46:57So what happens when she focuses on her solo and then she still is not good enough for you
47:01I'm sick of it
47:02Smiley
47:02I want you to remind me why I chose you for this team
47:08I want to thank all of the dads for coming
47:10If Alex doesn't show up I'm going to have a really heartbroken kid
47:13I just want to dance for my dad
47:14Oh my god
