00:05told the same unbelievable tale. A golden city, hidden deep among the dunes. A city with white

00:12walls that shimmered like pearls, and gates guarded by black giants, a paradise known as

00:17Zazura. Most dismissed it as myth, a mirage born from madness and heat. But then, something

00:25extraordinary happened. Satellite images revealed strange rectangular structures, buried deep

00:31beneath the sands exactly where ancient maps once marked the city of Zazura. Was it just

00:36legend? Or had the truth been sleeping beneath the desert all along? The first written record

00:43of Zazura appears in 13th century Arabic manuscripts. They spoke of a white city beyond the desert's

00:49deadliest dunes, a place where gold flowed like water, and birds with jeweled feathers flew

00:54through marble courtyards. Early explorers Al-Hassan al-Masudi, Abu Hamid al-Ghanati wrote
