00:00Hey.
00:01Today's Mimi's birthday, and I want to spend some time with her.
00:04So I'm going to take her to get a nice manicure
00:05before her birthday dinner.
00:07I figured her and I could catch up some
00:08without having the other craziness that we're usually around.
00:13So how's everything?
00:14What's going on?
00:15I'm trying to stay busy.
00:16I'm trying to keep my mind off of a lot of things.
00:20Looking into, you know, to start real estate school.
00:24I mean, when she tells me she wants to do real estate,
00:26I'm pretty shocked to hear that, because that is a big change.
00:29She's been a teacher for 25 years,
00:31and I think she'll rock at it when she's there.
00:33But right now, it's just kind of weird to hear her say,
00:36like, she's going to take a complete different career path.
00:39So do you just stay with us until you're done with school?
00:41Or, like, what's...
00:45That's a good question.
00:46I don't know, because I don't know how I'll
00:47be able to study at your house.
00:49Yeah, but that's another question.
00:51I can't continue staying with Adam and Danielle.
00:53It's not healthy for me to be living there.
00:56You know, but, yes, I'm very thankful and blessed
00:58that they did give them the opportunity to stay there
01:00after I've lost my home to Harvey.
01:02But it's just another thing of, what do I do next?
01:06It's hard to believe how old I'm going to be.
01:10I just thought I'd be in a whole different place at 54 years old
01:12than where I am, living with my children.
01:15I mean, I figured maybe when I'm 80, maybe 90,
01:20not at this age.
01:22It's sad, I'm surrounded by so many people that love me.
01:26But actually, I've never felt more alone.
01:29I mean, you're still going to have to...
01:36I mean, y'all all have your life.
01:38Y'all are very busy with y'all's life.
01:41And I just, I'm having a hard time developing my own here.
01:45I know it's, it sucks and it's hard.
01:48And I, you know, I hate that you feel this bad on your birthday.
01:52I know mom is hurting right now,
01:54but I hope when she gets to her birthday dinner,
01:57she sees all the gifts the kids made for her
01:59and she realizes how much she is loved.
02:02I mean, it will be kind of funny.
02:03You go through real estate school and I'm going to see you on billboards
02:05and buses driving by and...
02:07Oh, Lord.
02:08I mean, I could put you on the Busby bus.
02:12Oh, God.
02:15I thought League City is where I needed to be to heal,
02:20but I feel that I'm just stuck.
