00:00¡Gracias!
00:30Well, it's still a celebration, and we can mourn him and celebrate what we've accomplished.
00:42I'm really the child of the American dream.
00:48We came here with nothing.
00:50Our parents were people who fled during World War II and aspired to something great,
00:57worked hard, and never expected a handout, and we're the result of that.
01:05Well, we all started before you were born, half a century ago, before cell phones and digital stuff.
01:13And we did it the old-fashioned way.
01:15You get into a station wagon, and you go across America,
01:20and like the original politicians, take your platform to the people.
01:25And we were never a critic's band, but those critics are all dead.
01:31The Oval Office I was in last night, you know, with the president, and it's...
01:39You can tell my wife, I have not slept last night.
01:42I finally laid my head down, I slept nine hours, which was a miracle glance, Omnia.
01:46And I couldn't believe today that I was going to be sitting, you know, here and meeting all of you.
01:51Very exciting.
01:51It's very exciting.
01:53It's... My heart is beating like a triple.
01:55I've studied Nelson Eddy's version of The Battle of the Opera,
02:00and studied Raoul's appearance and performance.
02:04I could come back and sing something more.
02:10Here's the man.
02:12And...
02:13It's not something you would ever think would happen to you,
02:22that the president of the United States was playing your music,
02:26and it was on the news, coming out of the White House.
02:30So, extraordinary.
02:32So, it's...
02:33And a miracle.
02:33I really appreciate having him appreciate the music.
02:36Thank you.
02:36Thank you.
03:07It means to me that I am fulfilling my purpose,
03:10and I think that's something that everyone hopes to do in their lives,
03:14and I feel incredibly blessed that I'm able to do that,
03:19because not everybody realizes their purpose and they're able to accomplish me.
03:23So, it feels like an accomplishment for me,
03:26and to be honored for that is, like, makes me happy to be on measure.
03:30It's the ultimate, but it's one thing that we have in common.
03:48Even though he's been incredibly successful in his life, and we have,
03:54there's still a portion of us that consider ourselves underdogs.
03:58We're not completed works of art.
04:00We still have a long way to go to be really self-satisfied with who we are.
04:04And it's an ongoing struggle, and that's what I think kind of blends us together,
04:09at least in my career.
04:10How are you doing?
04:11I'll tell you, because I've had eight back operations.
04:14I have one more going, and it adds up.
04:16I'll take you out.
04:18The rest of the documents,
04:48so that we'll be working on providing them as well.
04:50Have a great day, Ms. Jessica.
