Police have detained two teenagers after a video of them riding 'basikal lajak' (illegally modified bicycles) dangerously at the Putra Heights traffic light junction in Subang Jaya went viral on social media.

00:18Shah Alam, on Saturday. Initial investigations found that the incident occurred on December 4
00:24at about 5.55 p.m. when the pair were riding from Persiaran Putra Perdana towards Kampung Tenga.
00:32They were seen riding recklessly, speeding through a red light and nearly colliding with a car.
00:38The case is being investigated under Section 54, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
