00:30So I started watching it, slowly I said okay here we go still images, it really is just paintings, the paintings are beautiful and this music is incredible and the sound design is amazing and suddenly within minutes I didn't even realize that they were still images anymore, I felt like I was watching Gladiator.
00:49You feel like you're watching something that's completely in motion even though it's not, if you protect my temple, I will bring you greatness.
01:04It's really amazing.
01:06The moment that you get into the temple and you hear that music being played and you see the nature of the sacrifices, you just get transported immediately.
01:17Wow, wow, wow. It was all God's will. It was so unique and exciting.
01:27Why did God set the Roman beast upon us? Because you, the priests and wealthy aristocrats, sin before the God of truth and justice.
01:42The temple at that time wasn't just a spiritual place, it was a huge generator of wealth.
01:50We're talking about 33 years after the death of Christ.
01:54A time of incredible wealth and incredible poverty.
01:59There's a story in the Bible about Jesus going into the temple and getting furious and turning over the table.
02:07Christ prophesized that the temple would be destroyed.
02:13The time of this picture is a key moment, not just for the Jews, but for Christians.
02:22The story centers on a young, naïve man trying to understand the will of God.
02:31God! God! God!
02:35He realizes if all there is is God's will, then even the destruction of the temple must have been God's will.
02:41It's this epic war film that is also a meditation on God and the nature of God and the nature of belief.
