00:25Yes, I'm a local living in Carroll and I have been before, yeah.

00:30Okay, what's special about it?

00:31It just brings everyone together, celebrates Christmas, gives us an opportunity to celebrate the year that we've had and what's to come.

00:39Great, and you're from?

00:40I'm Lisa and I live in Spring Ridge. This is my first time at the races.

00:45How's it going so far?

00:46Really good. Even though it's a little bit hot, we're all having the other ones. Very hot.

00:51Thank you very much. Where'd you get your hat from by the way?

00:55Yes.

00:56Oh, it's a milliner in Brisbane.

00:58Have you had it before, for a while?

01:00No, this is first time appearance.

01:09We only live just down the road, right in the centre of Gunnedah.

01:13So not the first time you've been here?

01:15No, certainly not.

01:16Every year, annual event.

01:17Oh that's beautiful, you two!

01:19We come with a great crew, look forward to it and here we are.

01:24How big's your crew?

01:25Oh there's about 25 of it.

01:27And it's sort of like an annual event for most people?

01:29Annual event, they book a couple of tables and we just get on the beers and get on the punks.
