00:02Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan may have lived in Mumbai for many decades now.

00:06But his name has appeared on a voter list in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi,

00:10dumbfounding the inspection committee.

00:12During the routine special intensive revision or the SIR of the electoral role in Jhansi,

00:17the list showed his name along with that of his father, Hariwansurai Bachchan,

00:21along with an address recorded as House 54.

00:24As per official records, India's angry young man last voted in 2003

00:28with residents of the vicinity saying they have never seen the actor around,

00:32and only in films.

00:33So while locals are baffled to suddenly find out Mr Bachchan is their neighbour

00:37and most don't believe it, official paperwork says otherwise.

00:40As old electoral records get revised, the question on everyone's mind is,

00:44can Mr Bachchan actually vote from Jhansi?
