00:00Previously, on The Last Woodsman...
00:14You gotta be kidding me.
00:15My bid for the forever claim.
00:17Somebody beat me.
00:18John Muhammad.
00:20Jared strikes a costly deal to establish a foothold at the forever claim.
00:25If you've defaulted on any payment of the royalties, no questions asked,
00:29to possess the float camp.
00:31But with his crew now split between two camps...
00:34You wanna walk this thing up that ramp?
00:37It's a risky balance between maximizing every last day at the float camp claim...
00:42It's pinching me on this side.
00:44Holy .
00:46...and delivering on the lofty royalty of the forever claim.
00:49Show me the money.
00:51I only have two weeks to make sure the first log barge has a $100,000 check going to John.
00:58Final deliver.
00:59It's game over.
01:00It's game over.
01:01It's game over.
01:02It's game over.
01:07John.
01:09How you doing?
01:12John, how you doing?
01:29Yeah, Jared, I just wanted to check in with you
01:31and see how things were going.
01:32Things are going well here.
01:34Okay, good.
01:36I'm in a bit of a rock and a hard spot.
01:38John definitely has the upper hand on me right now.
01:42But if I can get through this season
01:44and hold my end of this bargain,
01:47he will sell me the forever claim for $2 million.
01:51And that is definitely worth the risk.
01:54We're going to have that wood ready for the first log barge,
01:56no problem.
01:57I got my best crews on it.
01:59Things are happening.
02:00I've sourced out every piece of equipment that I can find.
02:04Okay, well, I'm really glad to hear that, Jared,
02:06that it's going well
02:06and you're hitting your production targets
02:09and looking forward to that barge coming in.
02:12Okay, you have a good day.
02:20We need to pick up the pace right now.
02:23If I don't raise this $2 million,
02:25I pretty much worked a whole season for nothing.
02:28I need to just keep the push.
02:31That's my job.
02:32I'm the boss.
02:33I'm the push.
02:34We've got to keep our foot on the floorboard,
02:36get that money to John Muhammad and own this claim.
02:39Two weeks in, Jared's expanded operation is splashing wood on both fronts.
02:50So far, the Forever Claim crew has harvested about 2,000 tons of big timber,
02:58putting them just on pace to deliver his first royalty.
03:02But the lease on the float cam claim ends in just three weeks' time,
03:06so the crew needs to log every last bit of big timber
03:09to stand a chance of meeting his $2 million goal by winter.
03:13All the tires look good.
03:19New boards.
03:20To hit his first target at the Forever Claim,
03:25there's one more machine to haul up the mountain.
03:28Super Snorkel, it's a machine that casts down,
03:32grabs logs, and pulls them up to the road.
03:34It uses gravity to its advantage and its long boom
03:37to get the casting going on.
03:39So it's almost like fishing for logs.
03:41They're very, very productive,
03:43but they are a very big pain in the ass to move.
03:47The tow job will be a nine-mile trek uphill
03:50over some of the roughest road known to logging.
03:54And with the heavy load,
03:55they'll need to maintain momentum the whole way.
03:58It's going to be a pins and needles day.
04:01The snorkel is 140 tons,
04:03and it sticks up 135 feet in the air.
04:08I have a solid team.
04:09I got Lance, who's really good on the truck.
04:11I have Glenn that's going to be amazing on the machine,
04:14and I'm going to have to drive the push truck.
04:16We're going to have some steep slopes
04:17where we're going to need to push and pull the low bed.
04:21Need my driving boots.
04:22Okay.
04:24See if we can do this.
04:32He's a go.
04:41You have all this snorkel and lines and cables in the air,
04:52and everything's bouncing,
04:53and we've had it almost flip off the low bed.
04:56That's the biggest danger.
04:57The last time I drove the push truck,
04:59we just about scald on a hill like this.
05:01And if you're behind in the push truck,
05:03you're going to get hit.
05:04He's a good pusher guy.
05:26He's not scared of the throttle.
05:28He's a good pusher guy.
05:30He's not scared of the throttle.
05:32It's like Sam and swimming upstream.
05:39Never lose momentum,
05:40but anyone who's ever followed one of these down the road,
05:43you're on pins and needles
05:44because it looks like it's going to topple off the low bed
05:46all day long.
05:58Oh, no, no, no.
05:59Oh, boy, you're definitely done.
06:02You got your water on, Lance,
06:13or are we dragging a break?
06:17I don't know.
06:18You see something smoking there?
06:20It's not good.
06:4080 miles away at the float camp claim.
06:43Hey, here we are, Jim.
06:52Our new home.
06:55Not very warm out today, is it?
06:57No, it's a little chilly than yesterday.
06:59I think we're on the backside of the northern exposure here.
07:04Might have some uphill leaners.
07:05Fallers, Jim Gardner, and Rob Winger are on a mission to find and harvest the last big end-of-life cycle giants.
07:15Wait, I'll be right on the other side of that other rock knob there.
07:18Okay, I can hear you from there.
07:19Oh, yeah.
07:20We'll see you at quitting time.
07:22Give me a call if you need anything.
07:24Okay.
07:24Thanks, buddy.
07:26And good luck.
07:27To make the most of the remaining three weeks, they'll pivot to a new tactic.
07:36Divide and conquer.
07:44Got a big red cedar.
07:46Looks like seven, eight feet.
07:49Do a little...
07:53Yeah, that's solid.
07:55Yeah, that's pretty stellar.
08:00Yeah, it's just where we're going to want to put this is all.
08:05There's something unique about my job, and that's the fact that the terrain is very inaccessible by anything but boots on the ground.
08:15We're in the middle of nowhere.
08:17There's no roads around.
08:18It's like the Wild West.
08:20It's a different set of rules.
08:22It's keep yourself alive, common sense rules.
08:26And common sense is like deodorant.
08:28The people who need it the most don't have it or use it.
08:32We've got a rock bluff over there.
08:34When this thing lands down, it's going to smash over there.
08:37The whole top's going to shatter off, be lost over the hill, and we're only going to be left to the start segment.
08:41And even that's going to be slabbed and broken.
08:43We do not want that.
08:45We literally have one small corridor we have to shoot for.
08:48To avoid the rock bluff, Jim will aim the tree straight down the hill.
08:59But a fall that far could risk damaging it too.
09:05As a precaution, he'll also make adjustments to his face cut.
09:09I'm going to open up my undercut a bit more so that the tree's going to commit.
09:17It's going to be more 45 and committed to falling by the time it closes and disconnects from that stump.
09:23So it's going to be ultra committed to where it's going to land.
09:26On top of that, I'm just going to shave the little chin off of the front of the undercut
09:30so that this tree is going to hit the ground, the butt of it, before the top of it,
09:35which will minimize the impact to the ground and to the tree.
09:38Fingers crossed, touch wood.
09:41We get this big tree down with this little saw.
09:51If it goes too far up the hill, it's going to be breaking and devalued
09:55and half the tree's going to be lost and we can't recover it in the first place.
09:59That's going to be the issue.
10:25It looks like this is pretty much going to be right on.
10:51But what I'm going to want to do is I'm going to want to take this little bit of a chin off
10:54and stick my saw in and take the inside of this tree out
10:58so that by the time we have the back cut done, it just falls over.
11:01Let's go.
11:07Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
11:37Oh, oh, oh, oh.
12:07Oh.
12:21Not ideal.
12:26In the hills of the float camp claim, Jim's best efforts to keep this cedar intact failed.
12:32I had the absolute blind faith that it was going perfectly.
12:38This tree wasn't as sound as it sounded like.
12:41It was sad to see that it separated, but it is there.
12:44We'll see if we can solve something in the end.
12:47It's basically shingle.
12:48It needs a little bit of TLC to recuperate what we have left there.
12:53Well, it keeps slaying away.
12:54Back at the forever claim.
13:00Oh, a little bit of truck has a brake hanging up by the looks of it.
13:16Take a look at what's going on.
13:18Yeah, lads, it seemed like this one was getting warm.
13:26Yeah, it's a little bit warmer than the others.
13:31These fat trucks have an extremely robust braking system that needs water.
13:37We have to really make sure that we keep our brakes cool, or you will find yourself up creek without a paddle.
13:45We're going to fill the water tank in that clogging truck.
13:51We don't get water into the brakes.
13:53The brakes can heat up.
13:55They can fade and crash or maybe even burn.
14:00Probably both.
14:03Underneath?
14:03Yeah, I'm on.
14:05All right, here we go.
14:19Yeah, my water tank's full.
14:22Excellent, good job.
14:28I wonder how these trees are going to be.
14:30Well, if that's the issue, they won't do great.
14:34When the low bed turns, and that snorkel's going to go like this, and it's going to be knocking these trees here.
14:42This is the danger zone, for sure.
14:44Yeah.
14:46Okay, we're ready to roll.
14:48I'm ready back here.
14:51Okay, mate.
14:52Here we go.
14:55On the road again.
14:57I wish I knew the rest of the song.
14:59This has been a battle, but it kind of gets a little more challenging.
15:05This is the tale of the tape for the trip today.
15:07I can't afford to have anything happen to these machines.
15:09Now as this road gets windy, these trees will get, there'll be lots of debris on the road.
15:16Here comes the shrapnel.
15:28Not a lot of fun having these things drop on yet.
15:31You never know if one can come through the window.
15:36Like that one, and that one.
15:37Okay, Dave, I'm in the clear now.
15:54You can start logging anytime.
15:55Okay, picking it up here.
16:03Back at the float camp claim, former hook tender turned woods foreman Brand Laviolette,
16:08along with yarder operator Dave Cox, mop up fallen timber to prepare it for hauling.
16:17Because we had so much rain, the soil itself isn't as strong as it should be.
16:21There's not a whole lot to work with here, but we'll turn this shit into sugar.
16:25We've been logging for 21, 22 years.
16:31I'm a fifth generation logger on the west coast.
16:34I grew up in a logging camp town, so it was an easy transition for me.
16:39And now I'm living the dream.
16:42Need some petrol.
16:44A hook tender is defined as the man in charge of a grappler to your side.
16:49You're the hill boss, you're the guy orchestrating all the moving parts,
16:52you're running a chess game over here.
16:55We're going to go to a stump that's going to be strong enough, really stable stump.
17:07It's got a lot of wood in front of it.
17:08I think this is going to be the guy.
17:09To do its job, a grapple yarder must be anchored to multiple points so it can pick up logs and pull them down to the roadside.
17:19But when a yarder has gathered everything in its reach, it's on Brad to rig the new anchor points,
17:25also known as tail holds, that keep the team harvesting across the hillside.
17:30Come on, wake up.
17:38Buy some new saws, Jared.
17:40Time is of the essence here.
17:51I've got to take all this gear, I've got to rig it up, and just go.
17:56The hook tender sets the pace for the whole operation.
17:58If you're not getting the wood, no one else can touch it.
18:01Now that I'm satisfied with my tieback and the stability of this next anchor point,
18:04so you can start yarding again.
18:12Okay, I'm in the clear.
18:13We can give her a tight line whenever you're ready.
18:23Hold it, hold it, hold it.
18:25Whoa, whoa.
18:28I'm heading there.
18:34We're going to have an issue.
18:35I can see there's a great big hemlock log laying on top of everything,
18:39and it's up off the ground.
18:40My running lines are actually going to sweep under it,
18:42and it's going to create a gun barrel.
18:44Oh, damn it, Craig.
18:50A gun barrel happens when a log juts into the direct path of the yarder's pulling cable.
18:57If the two collide, it could send the log straight down at the grapple yarder.
19:04My quick fix for that is to take my saw, buck it off,
19:09and that piece will just get out of her way.
19:27All right.
19:29Well, that takes care of that.
19:31Okay, going ahead easy.
19:32I'll be happy with that.
19:34Going ahead.
19:42Wonderful.
19:49Nice.
19:51Off to market.
19:53That's what we like.
19:54Now I've got a couple minutes I can pour by into the future and look at my next tail hole up.
20:02So when he's done harvesting all that timber, I've got the next tail hole ready to go.
20:10He plugs in.
20:11Same thing over and over and over all day.
20:15All right, Pete, don't sell me now.
20:22Let's go.
20:23That one track's pretty loose.
20:25Track coming off of snorkel is like blowing two tires on your pickup truck.
20:30We need to fix this, and we need to fix this right now.
20:33Alright.
20:42Hey, what?
20:43What?
20:43Oh.
20:43Oh.
20:43Huh?
20:43Oh.
20:44Okay.
20:45God.
20:45Hey, what?
20:46Oh.
20:47hunt.
20:47Oh my English.
20:49Okay, where?
20:49Yeah, why do I love you?
20:49I love you.
20:51I know.
20:52Hey, where?
20:53At the forever claim, Jared and the super snorkel hall hit the trickiest stretch yet,
21:04under fire from heavy branches that could topple the snorkel or destroy the push truck.
21:13They say the darkest is always before the dawn. This is it.
21:17Well, we're making her nothing broken yet.
21:26It's chaos. It's absolute chaos.
21:28And you never know when that tree is going to come down, smash into the windshield.
21:33I'm off, baby.
21:35I'm coming, Lance. I'm coming.
21:38I can't tell you enough how I hate moving this damn machine.
21:44But the payoff will be there when it gets to its destination.
21:47Oh, yeah. Yeah, we're here.
22:15We're going to drop the ramps now. We're going to get this old girl off my back.
22:26With the steepest road still ahead, Glenn will have to walk the final stretch to the job site on his own.
22:33But the rough ride so far, it's already claimed a casualty.
22:43That one track's pretty loose.
22:45You almost get a link out of that.
22:51Track coming off the snorkel is like pretty much blowing two tires on your pickup truck.
22:56We don't have the time and I don't have the patience.
22:58We need to fix this and we need to fix this right now.
23:00Quite a few snags kicking around.
23:21Back at float camp, with less than three weeks left to finish falling operations,
23:32Rob is hard on the hunt for his next timber giant.
23:35That's a beautiful tree.
23:39Hopefully it's sound.
23:41Because if it's sound, it's a money tree.
23:45Hemlock growing out of it too.
23:47It started growing right down here.
23:51And then said, hey, what the hell, I'm just going to use him for support.
23:56He grew right up the side of him.
23:58Hemlocks are a bit parasitic sometimes.
24:00You'll find any little crack in these cedars and just suck all the nutrients out of them.
24:06Please be sound.
24:12Sounds pretty good.
24:14Sounds like it's got some meat to her.
24:18We've got 27 feet.
24:22No idea what that is for diameter.
24:24Falling is not just big dumb lumberjacks out in the bush.
24:27It's a big puzzle you're picking apart.
24:29Weight transfer and movement.
24:31It's all physics.
24:33I originally was going to university for an electronics technology degree.
24:39And I don't know if I ran out of interest or money first.
24:42I can't remember which it was.
24:44But I went logging and never turned back.
24:47This tree looks like it's got everything we need for value, size, scale.
24:55But it's definitely got a good lean.
24:57And that undercut has to be perfect.
25:00Because if I throw it too far this way, it's going to freaking go right into these nice cedars over here and smash it out of them.
25:08So I've got to get it right in between these cedars.
25:11I'll have to watch out with that cedar eater here.
25:14If it doesn't go with the cedar, it could fall over up there.
25:21Hopefully it holds together.
25:22Once I get my undercut out, I think I can cut up both sides and tee it up and leave a strap.
25:29That's why I'm going to cut the sides up first and leave my trigger right in there.
25:34To keep this tree from smashing, Rob will have to shoot a tight gap between two nearby cedars
25:45and hope the hemlock growing off the back doesn't break loose and crush him.
25:49To better his odds, he'll make his usual face cut, then trim away at the tree's sides,
25:56leaving just enough holding wood for a fast final cut.
26:02Let's do it.
26:14We won't know for sure until I get it on the ground,
26:16but this is probably going to be the highest value tree in here.
26:21It's pretty important to lay this in properly.
26:31Let's just check the aim.
26:33Fingers crossed it's aimed in the right direction.
26:37If I stick with that, that's near bang on.
26:40I'll just make it deeper and cut the guts out of it.
26:44I always do a smaller one and then I widen it out.
26:47That's just because of the small bar.
26:52Everybody's like, why don't you just use a bigger bar?
26:55Because I'm trying to make my back last until I'm 65.
26:59Okay.
27:00Okay.
27:16Holy f***.
27:29It's starting to pop.
27:43Okay, this thing wants to go before I want it to go.
27:49And I need to be ready to bolt if it does.
27:51Oh, f***.
27:52So it was starting to pop on that side.
28:01I don't want to cut anymore back this way.
28:02So now I'm going to hit my trigger and f***ing send it.
28:07First time it popped, jarred me into, uh oh.
28:08It does want to go.
28:09Sooner than later.
28:10Sooner than later.
28:11Sooner than later.
28:12Yeah.
28:13Oh, f***.
28:14Oh, f***.
28:15Oh, f***.
28:16Oh, f***.
28:17Oh, f***.
28:18Oh, f***.
28:19F***.
28:20Send it.
28:21First time it popped, jarred me into, uh oh.
28:24It does want to go.
28:25Sooner than later.
28:26Booyah.
28:27Right on the money.
28:28And look at that.
28:29Hemlock's slowly falling over here.
28:31I'm going to go.
28:32I'm going to go.
28:33I'm going to go.
28:34I'm going to go.
28:35I'm going to go.
28:36I'm going to go.
28:37I'm going to go.
28:38I'm going to go.
28:39Ooya.
28:49Right on the money.
28:51And look at that.
28:53Hemlock's slowly falling over.
29:05That's why I finished right in the back.
29:08Just because of it like that.
29:11Cedar saved out.
29:13That's the main thing.
29:15Pretty damn beautiful piece of wood.
29:17High grade, high grade, high grade.
29:18There's a truckload of wood laying there.
29:20Good fall.
29:22Best case scenario happened.
29:23We've got a busted track.
29:39We're supposed to line up with these pins.
29:42And that makes the track turn.
29:44As the sprocket turns, it hooks those pins and it rolls the track, giving me motion.
29:50Now, as you see, this one here is nice and tight.
29:56And that's how it's supposed to be.
29:59Very, very slack.
30:00That is just too risky.
30:02So it could get wrecked terribly.
30:05We've got to keep it safe.
30:07You know, I've got lots of experience running the snorkel.
30:09You have to be aware.
30:12And don't be too ballsy because one mistake in that thing, over it goes.
30:18The team's only option now.
30:20Bring out a mechanic.
30:23But the extra time is worth the delay.
30:25First time that Glenn ever came to work for me.
30:32Two days in, the machine started having problems with tracks.
30:37He flipped the machine off the side of the mountain.
30:42The machine did a tumble down the bank.
30:45Ended up on its roof.
30:46I came running down there, freed him from the cab.
30:50His words were, don't worry about me, boss.
30:53My wife me harder than this.
30:55And he had a broken back.
30:57When we packaged him up, we flew him out in a helicopter.
31:00And I never thought he'd be back.
31:02So I think he has a lot of fear of the tracks acting up again.
31:06Here comes the calvary.
31:15As you can see.
31:16Oh, yeah.
31:18Here's the problem.
31:23Now we're pumping nitrogen into the cylinder.
31:26It's making the idler come out and tighten the track so we can carry on.
31:31Oh, God of all trackage, rise and be proud.
31:41Yeah, we're just over 2,000.
31:45What, tighten up once you walk, you think?
31:47It should.
31:48Once I move it.
31:50Back up and do the races.
31:52Here we go.
31:53Let's get this show on the road, finally.
31:56Nice snag there, big fella.
32:12Looking over the area here, I think Dave's pretty much done grappling everything he can see.
32:17How's she going, Dave?
32:18You almost out of wood there?
32:20Yes, I am.
32:21Copy that.
32:21Having finally hit their stride, Brad and Dave must now reach the rest of the timber,
32:28which means re-anchoring the yarder's pulling cable further across the hill
32:32and setting it up to withstand more than 90,000 pounds of force.
32:37Right now I've identified the next tail hold to be used,
32:40so I'm going to tie that stump back to one of these green, healthy trees in lead
32:45to make sure that that stump is not going to pull during the yarding process.
32:49But in a region that receives more than 10 feet of precipitation per year,
33:10loose soil is always a concern.
33:14There.
33:16That should hold her back.
33:22Because we had so much rain, still kind of worried about the soil saturation
33:25and loss of integrity of the root systems here,
33:29so we're just going to have to be real delicate.
33:31If all things go according to plan, we're really going to pick up some speed here,
33:34pick up some time.
33:35We're just going to produce like bastards and hopefully make the boss a good dollar here.
33:39But it's all going to depend on this stump and if we can make her stay in the ground.
33:44All right, Dave, we're all clear up the hill here.
33:47Give her a good tight line here, see what the stump's made of.
33:49Okay, here we go.
33:55Come on, baby.
33:56Hold in there.
33:57Oh, suck it out, suck it out, suck it out.
34:13Yeah, so for a day's work out here, this is my wedge belt.
34:17I got my tape measure here, measuring out the logs, bucking them to length.
34:22This is my chainsaw, of course.
34:24Very dangerous piece of machinery.
34:27You've got to be careful.
34:27Keep it away from your legs.
34:29Got a flashlight for emergencies.
34:32A knife in case a bear wants to attack me.
34:35This thing's just a beauty, the old multi-purpose jug here.
34:38This isn't actually vodka.
34:40I'm not drinking at work.
34:41It is water.
34:43It's just the perfect jug and it fits in my pack well.
34:47I have this old Tupperware here I stole from my mom years ago.
34:51And it's just full of all kinds of spare parts.
34:55Branches, pliers, mounts.
34:57Just small essentials that if I were to break down while I'm up there cutting trees down,
35:01I can repair my saw without wasting too much time.
35:05That's pretty well what I carry in my pack.
35:09It varies from guy to guy, but that seems to work for me.
35:12Oh, sock it out, sock it out, sock it out.
35:24This dump's done.
35:28In the hills above the float camp claim, Brad's mission to bring logs down to the roadside
35:33is falling apart.
35:34So, obviously, we just had a major blow to production here.
35:38This stump, it's pulled, so we're going to have to regroup, reset, come up with a new plan.
35:44As I look around, there's an option we have right here, real close.
35:47I could actually climb this tree and put some blocks and straps as high as necessary to get the lines and the grapple picked up off the forest floor.
35:55The bigger the spread you can get between your guyline and your top choker makes that tree that much more strong.
36:02So, my plan is climb up probably 40, 50 feet, maybe just below the canopy.
36:07And that's where I'll put my guyline out.
36:14And I love how this gear hasn't changed in 100 years.
36:16This is the same stuff my granddad was using, doing the same thing.
36:21Here we go.
36:21Climbing trees, it's not foreign to me.
36:27You know, as a kid growing up in a logging camp, it was just a form of fun.
36:31And then when I became a logger, it was just part of the job detail.
36:35I've been doing it for over 20 years now, so it's second nature.
36:39But a lot of it is just knowing your gear, trusting your gear, inspecting it.
36:44You know, knowing your limit and logging within it.
36:51Look at that.
36:53It ain't pretty, but it's effective.
37:00All right, we're all hooked up.
37:01We can get out of the way.
37:03Get some tension on this line.
37:06Get Dave cycling the wood.
37:09That'll make Jared a happy man.
37:11All right.
37:13Ready to check, one, two.
37:15Hello.
37:18Hey, Dave, we're all good to move here.
37:19Position in the clear.
37:20Pick her up.
37:22Oh, yeah.
37:22Pick her up.
37:29Oh, yeah.
37:32Come on, little loggy.
37:40Yeah, looking good.
37:40I'm impressed with the tree there.
37:43The angles are all looking good.
37:44Should be pretty stable.
37:46Go get them.
37:48Good.
37:49Good job.
37:49Good on.
37:50I couldn't be more happy with the rig.
37:58Like, we've got enough lift.
37:59Everything seems to be holding up.
38:02We're going to make up a lot of time off of this particular spar tree.
38:06A little more.
38:07Good.
38:08All back.
38:08These are the type of situations that Jared expects us to thrive in and start producing,
38:13and that's just what we're doing here.
38:14And now we're just moving product faster than we were all day.
38:19At home, this is working pretty good.
38:21They're coming in nice now.
38:28At the forever claim.
38:29We should be good to back up.
38:39We should be good to back up.
38:39I'm driving up this hill backwards so I can keep a watchful eye on the track.
38:57Having this track come off on this route would stop us dead in the water.
39:02So we're definitely going to pay a lot of attention to that.
39:12This is the toughest spot.
39:14I have to watch the tracks on the road.
39:16I don't want to go to the ditch.
39:17And I have to watch my snorkel, make sure it gets by these trees so we don't land anything on us.
39:25The track still looks good and tight.
39:27That's good.
39:40There it is.
39:47Oh, we did our voice.
39:50It took a little longer than we expected, but hey, we're here.
39:54This was a hell of a task, but big reward.
39:58We got her.
39:59Good job.
40:00That's one big check mark off the list, you know.
40:04Now we just have another 100 problems to deal with.
40:09We're going to do everything we can to make sure the next log barge has $100,000 as per our agreement.
40:15That will give me the ability to get to my $2 million goal that I can push to John Muhammad at the end of the day to purchase the forever claim.
40:27Great job.
40:28It's awesome, man.
40:30I have this dream.
40:32It's like having an 80-year company, knowing that I support families and those families have spinoffs.
40:39That is legacy.
40:42Risk?
40:43That's the only way to do it.
40:50Next time.
40:53I think the weight of the world on your shoulders.
40:56I got to cut every square inch of timber I got on every square inch of that barge.
41:01If something goes wrong...
41:08Abort.
41:11Abort.
41:12John can repossess flow camp.
41:15What's going on?
41:16Just finished loading the logs up here.
41:18The forever claim.
41:19Nothing great, I'm afraid.
41:20I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:21I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:22I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:23I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:24I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:25I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:26I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:27I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:28I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:29I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:30I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:31I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:32I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:33I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
41:34I got to cut every square inch of that barge.
