03:03I saw a beautiful bluefin trevally out there.

03:05He was keeping his distance.

03:06I couldn't get a shot on him.

03:07That's basically all I saw.

03:09I come into the shallows.

03:10I plug this little snapper here,

03:12which these things are actually incredibly good eating.

03:14I'm going to see if I can get a little bit more food.

03:16But we've got one snapper on the deck.

03:18It's hard going,

03:19but it is some of the most incredibly beautiful,

03:21crystal clear water I've ever dove in in.

03:23Like, I'm having the time of my life out there.

03:26I've actually just come back into the shore

03:28to hydrate because I am so thirsty.

03:31Like, I can barely swallow, bro.

03:32So I'm going to come and hydrate,

03:34and we're going to get back out there.

03:35We'll cook this fella up a little bit later on.

04:44and like scattered.

04:45it honestly sounded like a bomb going off underwater.

04:50they do do like bomb fishing in these areas,

04:52and I swear to God that was an underwater bomb going off.

04:55I was literally just about to pull the trigger on that fish,

04:59underwater.

05:02I don't know if it was a bomb,

05:03but what else would it be?

06:59All right, we've just returned back from the second dive of the day.

07:20Dude, I tell you what, it is hard going out there.

07:25It's not what I would have expected for this area.

07:29We've got a couple of fish.

07:31I didn't see, I'm not even joking here, I haven't seen a good fish to shoot the entire day.

07:37One bluefin early and that's it.

07:38You put the drone in the air and you look down at that drop-off, it just goes like that coral bommies big drop-off.

07:44You would think it would just be loaded with fish.

07:46Mate, I haven't even seen one.

07:48But we've got a bloody good feed going on.

07:50That's all that matters.

07:51Just going to make myself a little bit of a bush grill here.

07:54So we've got four pegs.

07:56All of them are cut into like a V-shape like that.

07:59I'm just going to make a real simple bush grill over the fire here.

08:02They're hungry and this fire, this coconut husk fire is putting out some serious, serious heat.

08:14Even these three sticks out, these sticks are actually green wood.

08:18So they're not going to burn.

08:20The first fish that's going on the fire, I'm going to put him to the side there.

08:25They're all exactly the same fish and almost the same size.

08:28Cut slits in the side of them just so they cook a little bit quicker.

08:31Bang him in the middle.

08:32That is it.

08:33We sit back.

08:34We relax.

08:35We wait.

08:36I'm starving, dude.

09:01The time I've been waiting for the entire day to stick something in this big old mouth.

09:07Here's the fish that we caught.

09:08We've got three beautiful fish.

09:10These things are cooked over the smoke of a coconut fire.

09:13So you can see it's not really cooked.

09:14It's smoked.

09:15Which means these are going to be absolutely bloody beautiful to eat.

09:18The whole idea of coming back to this island and doing this camping adventure was purely

09:23to get the spear gun out and explore that big drop-off.

09:26That drop-off just goes from shallow down to God knows how deep.

09:30It's just dark black water down there.

09:32And I honestly would have thought coming back with a spear gun would be eating proper food.

09:35But as you can see, we're not.

09:45A couple of bones.

09:46Look how white that meat is.

09:49That is just ridiculous.

09:52Oh my goodness.

09:54I'm going to smash it.

10:13Yesterday, we were fishing out the back there with a fly rod.

10:16And there were bait balls getting destroyed.

10:19I have not seen one bust up this afternoon.

10:21I haven't seen any fish getting hammered by bigger fish.

10:24Maybe it's just an off day.

10:25I don't know.

10:26But it's epic either way.

10:40It was a short, fast, powerful, one-night solo camping mission on this absolutely bloody, incredible island.

10:47It is one of the most incredible islands ever.

10:50If the fishing was better, I'd never leave.

10:55But it doesn't matter.

10:56Camping by yourself on an island is one of the greatest things you can ever do.
