00:11Trump's intended outcome with regards to Venezuela?

00:14Well, that's obviously the critical question. And I have to say, I can't give you a good

00:18answer. I don't know what his desired outcome is. He has said it's not regime change. But

00:24on the other hand, he's apparently threatened Maduro with severe consequences if he doesn't

00:29leave the country. He's had the U.S. military attacking drug boats. So is it something to

00:35do with illegal narcotics trafficking, terrorism? I think the problem is, in Trump's mind, it's

00:42all muddled together. And he really has not made a final decision. I think he's gotten

00:48himself into a potentially difficult position on a number of fronts, because as is unfortunately

00:55so often the case, he hasn't thought through in a systematic way what he's trying to accomplish

01:01and what he needs to do to get there. So it would be embarrassing in some circumstances

01:07not to be able to give you a direct answer. But I don't think Trump himself knows.
