00:00LA Knight believes a win over John Cena would put him in the GOAT conversation.

00:05LA Knight believes defeating John Cena will make him the greatest of all time.

00:09LA Knight defeated Jey Uso in the semifinals of the Last Time Is Now tournament on this week's episode of WWE Raw

00:16and has booked a showdown with former world heavyweight champion Gunther in the finals this Friday on SmackDown.

00:23The winner will go on to become John Cena's final opponent at Saturday night's main event on December 13th.

00:29Following his victory, LA Knight spoke with Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on Raw recap.

00:34He said he has the utmost respect for John Cena and everything he has accomplished.

00:39However, he believes he has what it takes to beat the 17-time WWE champion.

00:45And if he pulls it off, Knight said it would make him the greatest of all time.

00:50I got all the respect in the world for John Cena and everything he's done, LA Knight began.

00:56Greatest of all time? Yeah, he might be.

00:58And if that's the case, if that's what we're saying here, my thought is,

01:02At first I thought I'm not really a dream match guy.

01:05I don't care about that.

01:06I'm here to make money.

01:08I'm here to win championships, if I'm honest.

01:10Let me just be 100% transparent with you.

01:13At the same time, I appreciate everything that's happened.

01:17I appreciate the fact that when I go out there,

01:19everybody jumps out of their seats and they say,

01:22Yeah, and I appreciate the hell out of that.

01:24But at the same time, I got to look at this like a business, because that's what it is.

01:30And so for me, it's a matter of fact that John Cena, greatest of all time,

01:34and if I end up in that ring with him, and I get the 1-2-3, or who knows, I'm not a submission guy.

01:39But if I make the guy submit, that makes me the greatest of all time.

01:43But I got to be moving in that direction, wouldn't you say?

01:46That's where my head is.

01:47Speaking further, L.A. Knight addressed his next opponent, Gunther.

01:52He talked about people considering Gunther as an unstoppable force,

01:55and claimed that he, too, can be ruthless in the ring.

01:58He said he proved everyone who doubted him wrong over the years.

02:02However, L.A. Knight noted that he's not going to look past Gunther,

02:06and that he's trying to focus on the moment before he can think about becoming John Cena's final opponent.

02:11He said he's not going to look past Gunther, but he's not going to look past Gunther.
