00:00The Chinese Sabah voters are not just doing it purely emotional.

00:04There is sufficient trust in Warisan to act as a responsible opposition in the state

00:09and therefore the massive swing that they have encountered.

00:12Furthermore, Warisan also has a number of Sabah Chinese leaders,

00:16many of whom came from DAP in the past.

00:19And so Warisan does have a representation of the Chinese community

00:23and they can connect with the Chinese community there.

00:25So it's not an aneejerk emotional thing.

00:28It is, I would say, a viable alternative at least within the Sabah context.

00:33Given these results, you know, one should not be surprised

00:35if they try to contest in Peninsula again

00:38and present themselves as a reliable opposition alternative to DAP

00:43because Chinese voters probably will still not be ready to vote for Perikatan National and PAS

00:49but maybe they may consider Warisan in the future.
