00:00From the second you enter and you're greeted by a family of five seropods welcoming you to this amazing museum,
00:11that in itself is going to instill so much curiosity and imagination in our youth and ourselves also.
00:16The Middle East's largest natural history museum celebrates over 13 billion years of science and discovery
00:30as the latest addition to Sadiat Cultural District opens in Abu Dhabi.
00:34From the creation of our planet to the history of life on Earth,
00:38it showcases some incredible exhibits that bring nature's story to life.
00:43This specimen is called Stan and it's one of the best preserved examples of a T-Rex.
00:50Its bones and its teeth are in outstanding condition. Have a look.
00:56Other highlights include a piece of moon rock that you can touch,
01:00a 25-metre whale skull and the oldest thing on display in the museum.
01:06The Murchison meteorite is one of the most primitive space rocks known
01:10and was formed from a parent asteroid around 4.5 billion years ago at the birth of our solar system.
01:17Now when it fell to Earth in Australia, locals said that it smelled of rotten peanut butter or Brussels sprouts
01:25because of the compound inside. And apparently it still does.
01:29Visiting exhibitions will also make up the cultural program like this March of the Triceratops.
01:35It's an immersive exhibit in partnership with Naturalist Biodiversity Center in the Netherlands.
01:41This is the first ever herd of Triceratops skeletons discovered together in North America.
01:47This is a museum that's full of life.
01:51What I mean by that is that it's a continuous evolution in this museum.
01:55So our research department, our programming department, our publication departments,
02:01we work hand-in-hand with cultural institutions, scientific institutions
02:04to continuously research these amazing species, working hand-in-hand together and finding new discoveries.
02:10Immersive experiences and science programs for the community connect the past, present and future,
02:17stimulating imagination and encouraging learning for the next generation.
02:21You get to learn so much different experiences because in one room you could learn about the T-Rexes,
02:28one room you could learn about Earth, you could learn about so much different things.
02:33This place is like a very good place and we should care about the planets more
02:38and like educate people how to like clean the world and keep it a sustainable place.
02:45The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is a curious space for all and one that will inspire
02:51and shape a better future for generations to come.
