00:30...as the latest addition to Sadiat Cultural District opens in Abu Dhabi.
00:34From the creation of our planet to the history of life on Earth,
00:38it showcases some incredible exhibits that bring nature's story to life.
00:43This specimen is called Stan, and it's one of the best preserved examples of a T-Rex.
00:50Its bones and its teeth are in outstanding condition. Have a look.
00:53Other highlights include a piece of moon rock that you can touch,
01:00a 25-metre whale skull, and the oldest thing on display in the museum.
01:06The Murchison meteorite is one of the most primitive space rocks known,
01:11and was formed from a parent asteroid around 4.5 billion years ago at the birth of our solar system.
01:17Now, when it fell to Earth in Australia, locals said that it smelled of rotten peanut butter
01:24or Brussels sprouts because of the compound inside, and apparently it still does.
01:30Visiting exhibitions will also make up the cultural programme like this March of the Triceratops.
01:35It's an immersive exhibit in partnership with Naturalist Biodiversity Centre in the Netherlands.
01:41This is the first ever herd of Triceratops skeletons discovered together in North America.
01:46This is a museum that's full of life.
01:51What I mean by that is that it's a continuous evolution in this museum.
01:55So our research department, our programming department, our publication departments,
02:01will work hand-in-hand with cultural institutions, scientific institutions,
02:05to continuously research these amazing species, working hand-in-hand together and finding new discoveries.
02:10Immersive experiences and science programmes for the community
02:14connect the past, present and future, stimulating imagination and encouraging learning for the next generation.
02:22You get to learn so much different experiences,
02:25because in one room you could learn about the T-Rexes,
02:28one room you could learn about Earth, you could learn about so much different things.
02:33This place is like a very good place and we should care about the planet more and educate people how to clean the world and keep it a sustainable place.
02:46The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is a curious space for all and one that will inspire and shape a better future for generations to come.
