09:26be instantly recognizable terrifying and unforgettable oh my god prosthetic not only must
09:35you look the part but you must also embody your villain with a signature power and a presence
09:40strong enough to rival the heroes who fear you all right and speaking of iconic we have comic book
09:49legend todd mcfarland joining us this week to judge your creations so if you want to impress the man
09:56who brought spawn to life you better bring a look that's killer enough to earn your own series
10:05we want to see living nightmares in full graphic glory so go forth villains and make evil look glamorous
10:26i'm from brooklyn and the biggest villain in the city is cockroaches we all know we all hate
10:35them so what if it was bigger what if it was nastier slimier and grosser that's me so i want two limbs
10:43attached to my sides that i can take out and use as weapons so to make sure that the holders for the
10:49legs are attached i'm taking contact cement and you just apply a very very stupidly generous amount and
10:57then within 15 20 minutes it should be attached and let me tell you the power of god himself could not
11:04move this for my super villain inspiration it is the eyes beauty is in the eye of the beholder when i was
11:11in sixth grade i dated a girl who had a nose that was shaped upward it was a little bit different and
11:16everybody kind of made fun of her for it and that's like why i started painting my nose the way that i
11:21did i'm utilizing eyes as to take control over the beauty and that the fuck the beauty standards it
11:29doesn't have to be a certain way you can do and look different not everything has to be the same
11:34that's my power my beauty is my power and i'm utilizing it to say fuck the beauty standards beauty
11:41is in the eye of the beholder i am the eye that kills everybody who has a beauty standard
11:51that's my evil villain we have all realized that cynthia's brain works a little different than
11:56everybody else's she gets from point a to point b but there's a lot of this in the middle so she was
12:03like eyes you have eyes to see you see beauty beauty is in the eye of the beholder beauty standards real
12:11eyes realize real lies hi so for super villain this week my inspiration is myself of course um there's
12:23always kind of one thing when i come here abora i'm doing a creative shut up she's not even
12:39fucking listening to me what the is going on over there she's gone mad maybe she's on ketamine
12:46this challenge has me kind of regressing into a childlike place and i just feel really secure in
12:53my little my little ford of solitude

13:18i'm not sure what the fuck is going on in the corner she has made a mess tried to suffocate
13:27herself stapled some things to herself and ran around making a muck now we all knew that a board
13:32was fucking crazy but this is something next level it looks odd i'm sure to the layman but the creative
13:42frosted yeah that's my power move i'm gonna start over i'm using this opportunity to incorporate kind
13:52of my signature colors when it comes to drag i'm using a lot of this like really cute like faux leather
13:58shit because i love it and it's super thick and it holds structure well so i'll be able to really build
14:02some cool armor pieces and really structure this shit to where it's nice and huge um i can honestly say
14:07i have been i think quite villainous and very messy this season i love it i came here to i don't know
14:14cause some chaos and i think i've done just that mm-hmm okay

25:48I could see her shoe coming through the knee of the costume and maybe the originality of it was not the best.
25:57We did see Abora's character fly, though, and I thought that gag was an ambitious risk because that could have easily flopped.

26:05What did you think about Jaharia's look?
26:07I didn't get what it was supposed to be or what the theme of her villain was.
26:11I agree, it was unfocused and unflattering.
26:14It's a shame because Jaharia came this close to winning the last episode.
26:19In Jaharia's case, I think that she has been stellar all season, but not tonight.

26:26And in Cynthia's case, she did good tonight, but she hasn't done the best all season.
26:31Cynthia has never scored a win, it's true, but she's always showing up and transforming and kind of surprising us.

26:43She was the only one that sort of revealed her face.

29:22And the reason I say that is I'm critiquing everybody like I was the hero, just so everybody

29:28I think a villain should catch the hero off guard.

29:32You gave another layer to it when you took the helmet off.
29:35Again, another surprise, which is good, because then you can sap me real quick.

29:41I want my villains to, like, own the stage the whole time.
29:45I thought you were going to turn real quickly at the end and scare me, give me a jump scare,

31:09And we use airbrush.
31:10I think you could have used either sort of like hand rubbing, because when you do airbrush,
31:15you sort of get a start and a stop and a band.
31:17And I think with all the texture you have, you could have leaned into it a different way
31:22by doing more washes that would have brought out and accentuated some of the stuff that
31:26you have on you a little bit better.
31:27Yeah.
31:29And I'm such a huge fan.
31:31This is really well put together.
31:33I love the detail in the shoes, too.
31:36A lot of times people forget the shoes.
31:37They do everything up until it.
31:39But it was really cool that you brought the detail into that as well.
31:42I know you live in Brooklyn.
31:43I also lived in New York City for years.
31:45And the roaches are scary.
31:47They're friends.
31:48They are not friends.
31:50They are super enemies.
31:51I also want to comment on the makeup, because the costume is very well put together.
31:55But your makeup is also incredible.
31:58You are so talented.
32:00I appreciate the fact that a lot of what JK's worn up until this point, even as a roach,
32:05they will even put rhinestones on it.
32:08They will rhinestone a roach, too.
32:12I respect that.
32:14Next up, Eva Destruction.
32:16When you were doing your movement and your dancing, your hands were doing a ballet.
32:20Your scepter was doing a ballet.
32:22The smoke was moving around and doing a ballet.
32:25And then you had the best exit by far.
32:28You were just badass.
32:29That's a villain.
32:30Todd, we call it drama.
32:31Oh, we have-
32:32Eva knows a little bit about drama.
32:34No, you really do.
32:36It almost feels like a callback to your supervillain from season three.
32:39This is her mother, basically.
32:41The mother of all witches that she came from.
32:44And it was like a continuation story back for revenge.
32:46Amazing.
32:47I can see the family resemblance.
32:49I love the wig.
32:50I have no flattering way to describe it, despite loving it.
32:53So I will say that it does look like evil corn husks to me.
32:57But please know that that's a positive.
32:59I've been spending the whole time trying to figure out how to not say that.
33:03There's something evil about veggie sales.
33:04It's fine.
33:05Corn is evil.
33:06So I love the look, but it's not just a look.
33:09It's, again, it's the inhabiting.
33:10I appreciate that so much.

33:13The gag was great.
33:15Having the blacklight activate as a final touch was really nice, too.

33:47Everyone on the stage, you have the classic supervillain color palette, which I think is amazing.
33:53In picking purple and green, that is Lex Luthor power suit.
33:56That is the Green Goblin.
33:57That is the Joker.
33:58With everything else, I just wanted more.

34:02And I would be very excited to see it.

34:05I was a little confused about what your character was.
34:09Did you have a name for your character?
34:11So my character is me.
34:12I kind of just designed this as if I was the villain in the comic book.

34:16So I basically, I used my favorite colors, you know, yeah.
34:21I wish it was a little clearer that I understood who you were as a character.
34:25Your powers, your origins, your motivation, just something to grab onto to know a little bit more about you.

34:32As a detail freak, you've got a lot of space up on the chest here.
34:35I would have liked to have seen something.
34:37You have a cape, and I think it says 666 on it or something.
34:41Because it's off on one side, I was able to see your seam or your zipper, if you will, on your back.

34:48I don't want to know how villains get dressed, right?
34:50I just want them to be in their armor, and I want them to just be there to destroy the world, right?
34:56But otherwise, I thought it was an excellent job.

35:18And finally, Abora.
35:20Let me just say, the trick was killer.
35:24A minor critique on that is that I might have liked to have seen either some smoke or fog finish for the legs so that it didn't match your cloak.
35:34So it looked like you were truly flying then at that point, but otherwise, well done.
35:38So, Abora, we've seen the stilts before, but I have to say, you continue to innovate and explore different ways of using them.
