00:08help you improve your contacts on the chip and runs. One of the most common faults with a chip

00:13and run shot is that the player will tend to back off onto the back foot in an attempt to try and

00:17help the ball into the air. That makes the low point of the swing too far behind the ball,

00:21leading to fat and thin shots. So something that you can have a go at and practice is you set up

00:27as normal and then pull your left foot forward a bit and bring your right foot right the way back

00:31here so you're right on the on the toe here and what you'll find is all of your weight now is on

00:36the left side and then your goal is to make sure that you stay in this position as you hit the shot

00:41and you just get some nice solid strikes and start to get that feeling of how that weight stays left

00:47as you chip.
