South East Asia is facing one of its deadliest flooding disasters in decades, with over 1,000 lives lost as torrential rains, storms, and back-to-back cyclones unleash massive destruction across Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and parts of India. Cyclone Senyar and Cyclone Ditwah have displaced millions, washing away homes, crippling transport networks, and overwhelming rescue teams. Southern Thailand and western Indonesia are among the hardest-hit regions, with more than four million people affected and conditions worsening amid ongoing rainfall.
