00:35We will talk about Gayatri's journey so far, her story and what inspires her and her vision for Kinhood.
00:42Welcome Gayatri.
00:43Gayatri, are you now ready for the rapid fire?
00:46Yeah.
00:47The first question is, what was your first job ever?
00:50I was an intern at a construction company when I was in my second year.
00:54That was my first paid job and I got 1,500 rupees.
00:59That was my first income that I got as well.
01:02Nice start.
01:03Are you a coffee person or tea?
01:05Coffee.
01:06Early bird or night owl?
01:09Early bird for going to the gym.
01:13From a work perspective, I can work only in the nights.
01:15In the morning when you speak to me, I just can't string two sentences together.
01:20Okay.
01:21One thing you can't live without?
01:23My freedom.
01:25I want to do things the way I want, when I want and where I want.
01:29I don't like people to say I can't do something.
01:34Most use app on your phone?
01:36Kin for sure.
01:38Apart from Kin?
01:41Instagram?
01:41Very recently.
01:42I should actually say that.
01:44I did not have a social media account for a very long time.
01:47My Instagram account is probably only four or five years ago that I created.
01:53Oh!
01:53Yeah.
01:54That's interesting.
01:54For somebody like that.
01:55No, of course, I was in banking.
01:57So, you normally don't have that many social pictures that you keep putting up.
02:01So, it was very different then.
02:03Favorite vacation spot?
02:04The Nalveli.
02:05My native place.
02:06It's really very beautiful.
02:07I like the mountains and the seas.

02:18If you had a superpower, what would that be?
02:21When I worked in financial services, there was one point when I was...
02:26I had my team, you know, like across continents.
02:29So, I never had my boss in the same...
02:31Not alone the same country, not in the same continent.
02:34Right.
02:34So, I was running my global team from Singapore.
02:37And I had a team in London, in Pune, Hengiwari, and also in New York as well.
02:44So, timing was always difficult because I had to actually wake up very early in the morning
02:48and to have these meetings and so on.
02:51So, I said that if I had one wish in the world, I would actually make Singapore or Asia the center.
02:56And try and actually bring, you know, like Europe and America on either side.
03:04So, that time zone could actually be adjusted.
03:06So, I could actually do 9 to 5 hours while the rest of them could actually, you know, wake up early or stay late.
03:12But it was a wish.
03:14What was the last show that you binge watched?
03:16I'm watching Residence now in Netflix.
03:19Team iOS or Team Android?

03:29I think I should soon put up a collection of it.
03:31Apple customer.
03:32I'm an Apple customer.
03:33Only on the phone.
03:34Yeah.
03:34But on my laptop, I've tried to stay away from.
03:39MacBook.
03:40Apple.
03:41But I think now they've actually forced me on Apple as well.
03:43Last book you read and had fun.
03:45I like fantasy.
03:46So, I read a lot of fantasy.
03:48So, I've just finished 16 books of Wheel of Time.
03:51And I'm reading Frederick Parkman's Anxious People.
03:56It's really very funny.
03:57It's about a guy who actually runs into a bank trying to actually do a bank robbery.
04:05And then he gets scared and he runs into an apartment where somebody is actually showing a house around.
04:10And it's really kind of funny.
04:12So, I've just started reading the book.
04:14I'm enjoying it.
04:15So, it's quite nice.
04:17Describe yourself in three words.
04:18I'm very hardworking.
04:20I never give up.
04:21And I like to talk a lot to different people.
