00:29...just by embracing the character and losing all kinds of ideas that you, yourself, should show through the suit.

00:43Because, as in my case, I move very differently than Chewbacca.

00:47And the thing that I do is the mannerisms that are specific to Chewbacca, the character.

00:55And that sets me in a position where, if I do my job well, I won't get as much recognition from the role.

01:02But that's fine with me, I love what I do, so I hope people will find out in other ways.

01:08I did work with Peter Mayhew in the original, my first film, Force Awakens.

01:15And he taught me a lot about the character, in terms of reasoning and observing my movements.

01:25And then giving me feedback on that, and it was very helpful to have that.

01:30Because I'd studied up before, but to have the original actor tell me background information on everything was extremely helpful.
