00:00Wolf will try to change that. New York City making one change at halftime, bringing on Wolf for Johnny Shore.
00:11It was a first half of moments.
00:14Tadeo Allende's brace gave Inter-Miami a 2-0 lead before Justin Hack pulled one back for New York City.
00:21It's 2-1 as the second half is underway in the Eastern Conference Final.
00:26Taylor, let's talk about the change. Wolf, for sure, what does that do for New York City?
00:30O'Toole 100% is playing next to Aiden O'Neal, so now he'll play as that dual pivot next to O'Neal's 6th.
00:38Hannes Wolf will play on this left side player.
00:41He's not going to be necessarily a left back, left wingback, left attacker,
00:46just in that hold to try to support and give them a little bit more dynamism going forward.
00:50Everything the same for Javier Mascherano and Inter-Miami.
00:57Do you expect any tweaks to the approach?
00:59A little bit more of a front foot, I would say, purpose to their possession,
01:04trying to be a little bit more aggressive.
01:06Javier Mascherano knows and relayed the message that the next goal is crucial for them to get it to 3-1.
01:13I think there's going to be a little bit more purpose on the front foot of them having possession.
01:17I think Pasco Janssen's probably told New York City, expect an aggressive Miami in the first 15 minutes.
01:24Keep in mind, nobody scored more goals in MLS in the first 15 minutes of the second half than New York City.
01:31So oftentimes, he's pushed the right buttons at the beginning of the second half.
01:36He's brought on a dangerous attacker in Hannes Wolf.
01:39Second-leading scorer, second-leading assist man in the regular season.
01:47It's Inter-Miami beginning this second half in possession.
01:50And you wonder if the game unfolds the way the last 15 minutes of the first half did in this second half.
02:12Maybe we see Suarez a little bit sooner than we would expect because it gives them someone to play off of,
02:19particularly with the three center backs at times.
02:22And I know Gustavo is playing as a left back, but his profile is more of a left center back and a three.
02:29Wouldn't surprise me if the game unfolds for the next 10, 15 minutes the same way Suarez comes in sooner.
02:34I hate it was well offside.
02:54The ball is going to stay in play, however.
02:59Jordi Alba is going to have to go all the way back to the corner flag to collect it.
03:04Oh, it's dangerous.
03:07It is given away.
03:09It's Maxi Morales.
03:12Still there for New York City.
03:14Oh, hey, the shot is blocked.
03:15What a chance for New York City, and they can't take advantage.
03:20Well, and one of the positives of Rios Novo is how good he is with his feet,
03:24but a sloppy ball to Falcone across his 18-yard box.
03:29And Hannes Wolf steps in perfectly, but Maxi Morales not quick enough to react.
03:33He's got to win that ball and immediately have an attempt on goal.
03:38The fact that New York City doesn't even get a shot in that moment.
03:43Miami dodging one early on here.
03:45What an incredible chance for New York City.
03:47Ray will send forward Fernandez-Marcao chasing Allen there.
04:10Fernandez-Marcao away!
04:11Oh, he's called for a foul.
04:14It goes against New York City's striker.
04:19Well, and initially it looks harsh, but watch the right arm of Fernandez-Marcao.
04:25He pulls the right shoulder of Noah Allen, and it's right in front of the assistive referee on the other side.
04:32And I think when Pascal Janssen sees that postgame, he'll understand.
04:35But from him, his angle, it looks soft.
04:41How about New York City coming out very aggressive, but more importantly,
04:44Miami a little sloppy and sluggish coming out out of halftime.
04:49Not a good five minutes for Inter-Miami, and a couple warning shots from New York City.
04:57Luis Suarez up off the bench to get ready for Inter-Miami.
05:07His second straight game, sitting on the benches.
05:10Lindsey Heaps is here.
05:12Rose LaFell, the U.S. Women's National Team, are all here.
05:15A big game, a big day in the Heaps family.
05:18She will no doubt be paying extremely close attention to the Western Conference Final,
05:23following us on Apple TV.
05:25Her husband, Tyler, the sporting director of Expansion Club San Diego,
05:30for hosting Vancouver in the Western Conference Final,
05:33and perhaps coming here in a week.
05:39Inter-Miami would host MLS Cup if they win this game tonight.
05:45No matter who wins in the West.
05:48New York City knows they have to go on the road again
05:51if they can figure out a way to come back and advance to MLS Cup.
05:56Jordi Alba.
05:58Allende!
05:58The hat-trick was on his forehead, and it's wide.
06:08But those are the kinds of opportunities that we've seen Allende miss this season.
06:14It's a wonderful ball in from Jordi Alba.
06:18And it's difficult in the moment to criticize Allende
06:21after his second goal was a wonderful header,
06:23but that one's got to be on goal.
06:25It's got to be on goal, and if it is,
06:28Matt Freese can't get a touch on it.
06:30That pace, that kind of redirection, it's 3-1.
06:36Each team now with a really good opportunity in this second half.
06:41New York City couldn't take advantage of the giveaway by Rocco Rios Novo,
06:47and Allende inches away on the free header.
06:51Now Wolfe cutting inside of Wagon.
06:54Foul given.
06:59Well, Hannes Wolfe's going to plant a seed in the back of the mine of Wagon,
07:02who, by the way, is on a yellow that you've got to be very careful taking him down in
07:06persistent infringement of multiple fouls.
07:09Hannes Wolfe, a different player than Jonathan Shore,
07:14and, more importantly, a different New York City with Wolfe on the field.
07:18A set piece for New York City.
07:31They scored their goal in the first half.
07:34Off a set piece,
07:35Justin Hack getting on the end of a Maxi Morales service.
07:39Now it's Fernandez, Marcao, Rios Novo.
07:42It's off the crossbar.
07:49Did the referee blow the whistle?
07:51There is a bit of confusion
07:52as Rios Novo went flattering
07:56into Justin Hack.
07:59I mean, it's undeniably a foul, but I don't hear a whistle.
08:03And, more importantly, look at Miami defending.
08:05Allende and Silvetti were so far behind their back line,
08:11they kept everybody onside.
08:17It will be a Miami restart.
08:18I didn't hear the whistle blown.
08:21And there was clearly confusion from the players on the pitch as well
08:24as to what the decision was.
08:26And, in the end, it is a foul
08:28against New York City.
08:31This is the win probability
08:42into Miami.
08:44They were heavy favorites to begin the night.
08:46With a 2-1 lead in the 54th minute,
08:49they remain
08:50in our even heavier favorites.
08:52But, this game is very, very much
08:59in the balance.
09:04Paltasar Rodriguez for Inter-Miami.
09:07And, now, Rodrigo DePaul.
09:11Sergio Busquets
09:12to Noah Allen.
09:13I mean, just watching
09:16and seeing the flow of the game,
09:18you'd be shocked to think
09:19that there's actually been three goals scored.
09:21Yeah, a bit disjointed.
09:23Neither team has really gotten into the rhythm
09:24that they would want.
09:25Both teams love to have the ball.
09:30But, it's been topsy-turvy in times
09:32where it's just been
09:33whistles blown, tactical fouls,
09:36long conversations after
09:37whistles blown, whatever it may be.
09:40I mean, if you're Pasco Janssen
09:42on one hand,
09:43you're okay with that
09:44because you're taking Miami
09:45out of their flow
09:46and out of their rhythm.
09:50But, it's been a weird game
09:51to say the least.
09:52Completely different
09:53than what we've seen
09:54from both teams, quite honestly.
09:55Last weekend,
09:56New York City at Philadelphia.
09:57Yeah, they defended for their lives.
09:59Their keeper made saves.
10:00But, the game
10:00had a flow to it.
10:02Miami, obviously,
10:03dominating Cincinnati.
10:04This has been not that.
10:10Miami, take it away.
10:17Jordi Alba.
10:19Broken up by Ojeda, Busquets.
10:23Rodriguez, Silvetti, and Busquets.
10:32That's a dangerous ball from Rodriguez
10:34and it's given away.
10:35Oh, then Hannes Wolfe
10:37hit it off.
10:37What a ball this is.
10:39But, he blew the whistle.
10:40Oh, my goodness,
10:40and he blew the whistle.
10:42The stop play,
10:42as Ojeda was behind,
10:44it will come back
10:45to be
10:46a New York City restart
10:48and
10:49all John Freeman
10:50can do
10:51is smile
10:51and apologize.
10:55He would have blown
10:56his whistle right away
10:57when the initial one
10:58struck him.
10:59Yeah, but I'm telling you,
11:03watch the ball
11:04from Hannes Wolfe here.
11:06Oh, my goodness.
11:07On a dime,
11:08on a half volley,
11:09and I get,
11:10listen,
11:10the referee,
11:11he's going to blow the whistle,
11:12rightfully so.
11:14But Hannes Wolfe
11:15is saying
11:15he just played
11:16an absolute time
11:17over 45 yards
11:18with a side volley
11:19for New York City
11:21and behind.
11:22There is significant wind
11:23in South Florida tonight.
11:25Yes, there is.
11:25It is blowing
11:26from left to right
11:27for the most part,
11:28from north to south.
11:29Left to right
11:30as you're watching it.
11:31And it feels
11:32as though Inter-Miami
11:33have struggled
11:33to figure out
11:34that change at halftime.
11:36That was another ball
11:37that clearly got held up
11:38in the wind
11:38and almost resulted
11:40in New York City
11:41going the other way.
11:42And Mascherano
11:42is going to make
11:43two changes
11:43in two of those,
11:44I think,
11:45to bring some life
11:46into this one.
11:47I think he's worried
11:48about Weygan
11:48already on a yellow.
11:50Hannes Wolfe
11:50has had his way
11:52a couple times.
11:53Noah Allen
11:53another one
11:54on a yellow
11:55and having to defend
11:57in transition.
11:58And I think
11:58that's the reason
11:59why Mascherano
12:00makes the two changes.
12:01The interesting part
12:02to this is
12:03Bright comes on.
12:05That means Busquets
12:06plays as the left
12:07center back
12:08to Falcone.
12:09Busquets doesn't have
12:10the legs
12:10that Noah Allen has.
12:12So Falcone's got to be
12:13very calculated
12:14with how aggressive
12:15he is following
12:16Maxi Morales
12:16into the midfield.
12:18Frey for Weygan,
12:19Bright for Allen,
12:20the first two changes
12:21for Javier Mascherano
12:23in this Eastern Conference
12:24final.
12:26Ian Frey returning
12:27after missing
12:28the Eastern Conference
12:29semifinal,
12:30a minor injury
12:30suffered
12:31with Jamaica
12:33against Curacao.
12:34And interestingly enough,
12:35Ian Frey was wearing
12:36some sort of sleeve
12:38on his leg
12:39and after about
12:4015 seconds
12:40in the game,
12:41he took it off
12:42and threw it
12:42to Miami's bench.
12:43Didn't like how it felt.
12:47Busquets a wonderful ball
12:49to Rodrigo DePaul.
12:54Messi.
12:57Jordi Alba.
12:58Trying to get it back
12:58to Messi.
12:59It was broken up.
13:00And it will
13:01sail out
13:02for a Miami corner.
13:12The third corner
13:28of the night
13:29for Inter-Miami.
13:33Short.
13:34Messi and Jordi Alba
13:36knocking it back
13:37and forth.
13:38Ojeda once again
13:39read that well
13:40but once again
13:41concedes a corner.
13:42He's been ready
13:43for that combination
13:44play tonight
13:45between Messi
13:46and Jordi Alba.
13:47I think that's part
13:48of the reason
13:49why he started the game
13:50is I know
13:50Pascal Janssen
13:51understands he's
13:52going to get
13:53real commitment
13:54to his defensive
13:55responsibilities
13:56and especially
13:58when you're defending
13:59the left back
14:00attacking of Jordi Alba.
14:02Silvetti coming in.
14:03Messi drifting to the left.
14:05You need real commitment
14:06and he's gotten it
14:06from Ojeda tonight.
14:10Messi strong away
14:17from Martins.
14:19Jordi Alba gets it
14:20back to Messi.
14:23He was offside.
14:25The flag is raised.
14:26Pascal Janssen
14:37will make his next move
14:39and it's
14:40Agustino Ojeda
14:41coming off
14:42for Julian Fernandez.
14:49Fifth straight
14:50substitute appearance
14:51for Julian Fernandez
14:52in these playoffs
14:53but this will be
14:54by far
14:54his longest stint
14:56just 11 total minutes
14:58in the four
14:59previous matches.
15:01He'll get at least
15:01a half hour tonight.
15:03So each manager
15:04has made two changes
15:05from their starting 11s.
15:08For Inter-Miami
15:08Allen and Wagon
15:09off Bright
15:10and Frey on.
15:12Musquets has moved
15:13back to play
15:14center back
15:15next to Maxi Falcone.
15:16Hannes Wolff
15:22trying to chase it down.
15:24He can't keep it
15:24in play.
15:29And Pascal Janssen
15:31at halftime
15:32he brought on
15:32Hannes Wolff
15:33for Johnny Shore
15:36and just a moment ago
15:38Julian Fernandez
15:39for Agustino Ojeda.
15:41Colcone
16:01into the feet
16:02of Allende.
16:05To win as well
16:07to win a throw
16:08for New York City.
16:11Thank you very much.
16:12Thank you very much.
16:41lost it a heavy touch
16:48Morales wins it off of Frey
16:51Wolfe nutmeg's Busquets
16:52slides it forward to Fernandez
16:55Julian Fernandez
16:58some stepovers and then blocked by Jordi Alba
17:00but Fernandez does well to win a corner
17:04the first corner of the match
17:06for New York City
17:07Wolfe's come into this game and change it for New York City
17:10giving them another attacking threat
17:13coming out of the midfield
17:14but he's got a real good sense
17:16of running with the ball
17:19touching it by defenders
17:20nutmegs whatever
17:21getting his other attacking players in behind
17:24he goes short
17:35John Freeman calls a foul
17:39against New York City
17:40once again it's Maxi Falcone who's on the ground
17:42a lot of tangling and pushing and jostling in these moments tonight
17:52and it's just out of your screen right there
17:55Thiago Martins with the left shoulder
17:58into the body of Falcone
18:00frustrating for New York City
18:06because you've been dangerous on attacking set pieces
18:09the last thing you want to do
18:10is give Miami a get out of jail free card
18:15and it's going to go out for a throw
18:22Riguez misread that ball and it's going to go out for a throw
18:26it hasn't been your typical messy performance
18:47we've seen some sloppy touches
18:48we've seen some giveaways
18:50very quiet especially compared to the previous four matches
18:54in these playoffs
18:55Vancouver has arrived at Snapdragon Stadium
19:07and Tomas Muller what an impact he's had in Vancouver
19:16has made a strong team stronger
19:18the two seed in the West
19:20coming into the house of the one seed
19:22the Western Conference Final
19:24San Diego and Vancouver
19:25conference starting at 8.30
19:27here on Apple TV
19:29right after us
19:31will it be Inter-Miami hosting the winner
19:35of San Diego-Vancouver
19:37or will it be New York City
19:38going on the road to the West Coast
19:41for MLS Cup next Saturday
19:43they've got 25 minutes
19:45and added time
19:46and who knows
19:47maybe extra time beyond that
19:49to find out tonight
19:50Messi
19:53draws the foul
19:55and the yellow card
19:57O'Toole
20:01into the book
20:02it's unfortunate too
20:07because O'Toole felt like
20:09he got there in time
20:10that he kind of came across
20:13the body of Messi
20:14Messi was in
20:15a little bit of a counter
20:16but good tactical foul
20:18from Kevin O'Toole
20:18what's New York City doing
20:20to
20:20at least through
20:2266 minutes
20:23neutralize Lionel Messi
20:24they're forcing
20:26Miami to play around him
20:28not through him
20:29it's real simple
20:30and
20:31to say it
20:33it's not easy to do
20:34but how many times
20:35do you see Messi
20:36be able to turn
20:36right through the middle
20:37very few
20:38if any at all
20:39so
20:40playing around him
20:42has limited Messi
20:43to be as dangerous
20:44as he normally is
20:46and again
20:46all three goals
20:47were against
20:48a run of play
20:49of some sort
20:50Fernandez-Marcau
20:52to Wolf
20:53back to Fernandez-Marcau
20:55cutting it
20:56back post
20:57what a save
20:59Rios-Novo
21:00Julian Fernandez
21:02thought he had
21:03an equalizer
21:04Rocco Rios-Novo
21:06with the biggest moment
21:07of his match tonight
21:09Fernandez-Marcau
21:10does a wonderful job
21:11to find the next layer run
21:13great ball in behind
21:14from Honest Wolf
21:15but the back post
21:16completely wide open
21:17from Miami
21:18and Julian Fernandez
21:21doesn't hit it cleanly
21:22which makes the save
21:23a little bit more difficult
21:25big time save
21:26from Rios-Novo
21:27another corner
21:29for New York City
21:30Maxi Morales
21:37floating it
21:38knocked down by Allende
21:40Rodriguez
21:41chasing it down
21:43forward to Allende
21:44who's behind
21:46Barul Gustavo
21:47Silvetti with him
21:50he'll instead
21:51find Messi
21:53Rodrigo DePaul
21:57floating it
22:00to Jordi Alba
22:01knocking it back
22:02to Messi
22:03turning
22:04sliding
22:05Silvetti
22:06it was his save
22:30that kept this
22:34two to one
22:35and moments later
22:36another goal
22:38made in Rosario
22:40Argentina
22:41Messi
22:42to Silvetti
22:433-1
22:44and you've got to
22:44answer the call
22:45Rios-Novo
22:46does exactly that
22:47they defend the set
22:49beast
22:49but keep an eye
22:50on Thiago Martins
22:51as this ball's played
22:52back across
22:53he's slow to react
22:54he's defending
22:55Allende too deep
22:57Silvetti's onside
22:58in these critical moments
23:01against Lionel Messi
23:02in Inter-Miami
23:03you've got to be on
23:04point
23:04you've got to
23:05recognize
23:05where you are
23:07and where you need
23:08to be
23:08and if you're too
23:09slow
23:10they make you pay
23:12Silvetti
23:14Allende
23:15nine goals
23:16in the playoffs
23:17how about that
23:18man's magic touch
23:20the touch
23:21has got Miami
23:22a little bit
23:24closer to hosting
23:25MLS Cup
23:26it is 3-1
23:27Messi
23:28Miami

24:33What a moment from Silvetti.
24:37Meanwhile, Baltasar Rodriguez showing the yellow card.
24:45The sixth yellow card of this match.
24:57Rodriguez, the only Miami player on the pitch on a yellow.
24:59Now with Allen on the way, got off.
25:01Oh, Silvetti just missed it.
25:03And then Fernandez-Marcao draws a foul.
25:08It's remarkable to think all four goals have come against the run-up play.
25:12New York City's been arguably the better team and better chances in the second half.
25:16Rios Novo makes that save, but Tiago Martins doesn't step, Silvetti's onside.
25:24You gotta take your chances with both hands.
25:26Rios Novo becomes the starter after they lose to Chicago.
25:30Suarez gets suspended, Silvetti does.
25:33Both players playing a part, and that's their goal for Miami.
25:36The fourth goal in the last three games that either went Messi to Silvetti or Silvetti to Messi.
25:43Two players who grew up in the same city in Argentina, who came up through the same team.
25:48Newel's old boys, 19 years apart, now teammates, and having incredible success here in Miami, and giving it to Miami.
25:59Now a big two-goal cushion in the Eastern Conference Final.
26:02New York City need to respond quickly.
26:05Fernandez, Fernandez Mercado, wasn't ready for it.
26:15DePaul is down.
26:16Talasco-Segoviet will enter.
26:18Balthazar Rodriguez will come off the third change of the night from Inter Miami.
26:25I mean, it's while at the beginning of the year, Segovia looked like the name that we're all going to be talking about.
26:47And he still is one for the future.
26:50But look at the team, Silvetti, Allende, no Yannick Wright.
26:56You and I were talking on decision day.
26:58Yannick Wright's got to be a part of this team if they want to win MLS Cup.
27:02Oh, bad give away.
27:04Wright gives it away now.
27:05Morales tries to get it to Wolf.
27:07Wright recovers and gets it back.
27:15It's been the two young Argentinians, Balthazar Rodriguez and Mateo Silvetti,
27:19that have earned the trust of Javier Mascherano down the stretch and now into the playoffs.
27:26Making Talasco-Segoviet a substitute, a reserve, for these playoffs.
27:40Miami won a foul and now it's given and the yellow card just in half.
27:50I mean, two guys that you could argue would be starters for 75% of MLS teams.
27:55And Yannick Wright and Segovia.
27:58But, Jake, there's one common thing about Silvetti and Allende.
28:06As Justin Happ comes in late, it's the fact that they can play off without the ball.
28:11The fact that they will defend, but when you win the ball, there's now a vertical threat.
28:17That was the one criticism I had of this Miami team throughout the entire year.
28:23And listen, they still scored 81 goals.
28:26But the point is, everything was in front of them.
28:28Now it's difficult.
28:29Messi drops.
28:30Alba gets wide.
28:32Allende's in behind.
28:33Silvetti's in behind.
28:34DePaul's aggressive through the middle.
28:37Rodriguez is now a little bit more confident, playing a little bit deeper versus playing as a winger when he's not as balanced of a Miami team as I've seen.
28:46If not the most balanced since I've seen Messi in a Miami jersey.
28:54Wright back to his feet.
28:58Ball back in play.
28:59So, Vetti making a run behind.
29:07Martins was there for New York City.
29:27Oh, just going through.
29:28O'Neal takes the foul.
29:58Hernandez, Marcao.
30:05Messi poked it away from behind.
30:06That was the foul.
30:08It was brought back.
30:12The player comparison is presented by Celsius, official energy drink partner of MLS.
30:17Jordi Alba, Tiago Martins, the leading huge team in touches.
30:20As Wolfe goes down, draws a foul.
30:23And a dangerous free kick coming for New York City with 15 minutes left before added time.
30:30New York City in desperate need of a goal.
30:31And I think Pascal Jansen, rightfully so, is going to be asked postgame why Johannes Wolfe wasn't in the starting 11.
30:39And I think he's going to say, because we knew in the second half we were going to need some kind of life coming off the bench.
30:45He's been exactly that.
30:47Wyckham was taken off because he couldn't really defend him on a yellow.
30:50Ian Frey now is at times struggling to defend him.
30:54What an opportunity here for New York City to get back into this game.
31:10So Fetty, Segovia, the two in the wall.
31:13Fernandez, Marcao, and Morales over it for New York City.
31:18Fernandez, Marcao, will curl it to the back post.
31:26Ian Frey there to head into the air.
31:30Tavon Frey now.
31:32Frey blocked it.
31:35Miami deal with the set piece.
31:48Segovia takes it off of Julio Fernandez.
32:04There was a foul that happened when we were shown the touches graphic.
32:07When was the last time Busquets didn't lead Miami in touches?
32:10That tells you how New York City has forced Miami wide when Jordi Alba has got more touches than anyone else on the field from Miami.
32:20It might sound crazy to say it's been effective when they've conceded three goals.
32:24But New York City, I think defensively, have limited Miami more than we've seen in quite some time.
32:30All four goals have been against the run of play in some manner or not.
32:35And that's where it's going to be difficult to, with a straight face, argue that.
32:41But in essence, if you watch the game for 78 minutes, it hasn't been typical Miami shredding you in possession,
32:49playing balls in behind where then they've got wide open breakaways.
32:52Pascal Jansen has given up a goal with a deflection that fell into the feet of Allende.
32:58He buries that.
32:59A quick free kick from Mascherano gives him a two-goal lead.
33:01And then the third goal, they needed their goalkeeper to make a diving save, defend the set piece, and then score on the counter.
33:10Another set piece for Inter-Miami.
33:16Matt Freeze gives instructions.
33:20Lionel Messi ready.
33:23Floated into the area.
33:24Knocked down.
33:25Segovia towards Falcone.
33:27That took a deflection and Freeze couldn't keep it from going out, so it's a corner for Miami.
33:41Falcone saying that hit the left arm of Gustavo.
33:44I just, it's difficult when you're that close to the attacking player, you're arms by your side.
33:52Whether it did or not, I don't think it's a penalty.
33:54Any check was brief and is complete.
33:58And Lionel Messi will take his time as the iPhones are out.
34:03Well, this is with the win, so keep in mind, this could be really difficult for Matt Freeze to defend if he goes for the Olympico.
34:12If he hits this at the right pace and height, this could be difficult there.
34:17Let's go.
34:19Leo, let's go.
34:24Messi instead floats this.
34:26Jordi Alba taking it first time.
34:28And it's blocked.
34:30Bright knocking it back in.
34:32Freeze will collect.
34:36New York City want to go fast.
34:38Oh, Falcone, what a defensive play.
34:41Diving in there in front of Fernandez Mercow.
34:44And then Segovia taking it away and keeping it in play.
34:49Jordi Alba will slow it down.
34:52Segovia too much.
34:53The back heel right to Tavon Gray.
34:56Can New York City take advantage?
34:57Morales will let that run out for a throw.
35:12Ten minutes left before added time.
35:16Inter-Miami lead the Eastern Conference Final 3-1 over New York City.
35:21Inter-Miami are ten minutes plus added time away from hosting MLS Cup next Saturday.
35:28New York City with urgency.
35:31They need a goal fast to keep hope alive in this Eastern Conference Final.
35:36Friere confident flicking over Fernandez Mercow.
35:46Miami playing around this pressure.
35:49Nobody was there for Segovia.
35:52Thought Silvetti would be.
35:53Yeah, but that's the second straight touch.
35:55Segovia's got to keep it simple.
35:56Keep possession.
35:57and get New York City to chase the game.
36:27Another foul earned by New York City.
36:51Miami will make a substitution
36:57first. Here comes Luis Suarez.
37:01Silvetti, another goal tonight.
37:05The extremely important
37:07third goal for Inter Miami.
37:10He goes 82 minutes. He helps his team
37:13eight minutes from the final.
37:15Luis Suarez will get
37:17the end of this.
37:21If I would have told you before the playoffs
37:23started that Silvetti and Allende
37:25would have nine goals, five assists,
37:27between the two of them,
37:28you would have thought I was out of my
37:31coconut. Luis Suarez
37:33would have zero.
37:35He has one assist. Nobody in the
37:37world would have believed you.
37:39Morales floating this in. Allende
37:41heads away. Messi
37:43turning away from Morales forward
37:45to Segovia. He is isolated
37:47with Fernandez Mercado. He has Jordi Alva making a big run up the middle. He has to pull as well. He slides into Jordi Alva!
37:53One of the two of them in the world. He has Jordi Alva!
37:57Pretty in pink once again.
38:15They've dropped four goals in the Eastern Conference Final.
38:20And surely MLS Cup will be in South Florida.
38:25What an exclamation point to this Eastern Conference Final.
38:31He surprised everybody by saying he was going to retire at the end of the year
38:34because in the middle of this season, he re-signed.
38:38Watch Jordi Alba.
38:42And Segovia understanding the kind of run that's going to be there.
38:46But then this is class.
38:49And class is permanent.
38:51He's been a playmaker his whole life.
38:53Whether he was the number 10 at Valencia.
38:56Whether he left and went back to Barcelona.
38:59But he's been a playmaker his entire life.
39:04More goals scored than he's ever had at age 36.
39:08And Javier Mascherano.
39:10My God.
39:12Four-game winless streak in May.
39:14Are you sure?
39:15Because you're on fire right now.
39:17Miami, 4-1.
39:25The superlatives feel endless.
39:29Inter-Miami have now scored 97 goals
39:32between the regular season and postseason combined.
39:36That's the most of any team in Major League Soccer history.
39:4016 goals this postseason.
39:45Third most behind last year's LA Galaxy, who had 18.
39:50And 2016 Toronto FC, who had 17.
39:53And Inter-Miami sure look like they're going to get one more game
39:57to add to the 16 goals to try to break that record.
40:01Four goals.
40:07Three straight games.
40:10Another statement from Inter-Miami.
40:12This one wasn't as pretty.
40:14Perhaps it wasn't as easy as Game 3 in Round 1
40:17or as the Eastern Conference Semifinal.
40:20But the number next to Miami on the scoreboard is the same.
40:24Four.
40:28Incredibly impressive.
40:29Messi turning.
40:57Suarez.
40:58Got to leave it for Messi.
40:59Got it wrong.
41:00Heck was there.
41:01Bright wins it back.
41:02Suarez.
41:03Once again, couldn't get it to Messi.
41:05Our team's in the way.
41:22Andi.
41:23Getting his back in the way.
41:25Messi to Suarez.
41:50Back to Messi.
41:52Suarez.
41:54Blocked.
41:56They're not content with just four.
41:59Yannick Bright is showing a yellow card.
42:01Go girl.
42:01Come on.
42:01Go on.
42:25Go on.
42:27Go on.
42:29Now Cone got tangled up to Miami restart.
42:56The match rankings are presented by AT&T.
42:59Connecting changes everything.
43:01Alvier Mascherano.
43:03Bold decision last week.
43:07And it has paid off.
43:10Silvetti and Allende, they're not coming out of this Miami 11 anytime soon.
43:13We were trying to do match rankings for how many times Falcone's fallen on the floor.
43:19The over-under was 8.5.
43:21I think he hit the over at halftime.
43:25But what a move.
43:26Allende, Silvetti, a balance this team.
43:31Defending has been brilliant.
43:33They've been great.
43:33But now you've got Segovia coming off the bench.
43:36Jordi Alba with his opposite foot.
43:39Back heel to lay it off.
43:41And a 1-2 with Segovia.
43:43And what did the kids say?
43:45Miami?
43:464-1 over New York City.
43:51And every parent.
43:52Is that what it is?
43:52Is that what the kids say?
43:54So mad at me right now.
43:56It's not 6-7.
43:58It's 4-1.
44:02Right foot.
44:03Wasn't it?
44:04I'm not responsible.
44:05Absolutely.
44:06I wouldn't touch that home.
44:07Oh, Allende.
44:08Is it 5?
44:09A hat-trick for Allende!
44:13This team.
44:24What a night for Inter-Miami.
44:26The party's going to continue in South Beach for at least another week.
44:37They're headed to MLS Cup for the first time ever.
44:40And how about today, O Allende?
44:43Eight goals in the playoffs.
44:45That ties the MLS record.
44:46I ruffled some feathers this week because I said with Silvetti and Allende playing off Messi as a false 9, I'd argue Miami's unplayable.
44:57Any argument?
44:59You're so worried about Messi as a false 9 and playing through him, Silvetti and Allende will run circles around you.
45:07Because there's quality all over the field that Mascherano knows right now is the magic formula for Miami.
45:16to win MLS Cup.
45:20The Eastern Conference Final.
45:23It's not Luis Suarez.
45:24It's not Lionel Messi.
45:26It's Allende with a hat-trick.
45:29And they put on a show tonight.
45:315-1 at home.
45:38It's over.
45:40No added time.
45:42Inter-Miami have won the Eastern Conference.
45:46And they will host MLS Cup in South Florida one week from today.
45:56Rocco Rios-Novo, a big moment, a huge save when it was 2-1.
46:01Jordi Alba's having fun.
46:03There's another week left in his career.
46:08A hat-trick for Tadeo Allende, who has scored seven goals in three games and eight in these playoffs.
46:16Tying Carlos Ruiz's MLS record.
46:19He'll have a chance to break it next week in MLS Cup.
46:24This team is flying.
46:3113 goals, Taylor, in their last three games and just one conceded.
46:38Lionel Messi, in every interview he has done since he came here, he has...
46:42permaneal playing and playing, roofing, the Luther King, whoever likes you for...
47:00But hani, what do you know, where do you finish up?
47:01결eal playing and lógico.
47:02And again, of course, you have a chance to break it straight.
