'The Daily Show' host cost confesses on having a huge crush on Jennifer Lopez at age 12.
Transcript
00:00Yeah, we need new tape. This is dead.
00:05New tape.
00:07New tape.
00:10They searched for tape, but they could not find it.
00:14The chute forever hampered.
00:17What would a world without tape be? Nobody knew.
00:21And yet they tried.
00:23They tried and tried.
00:25But there was no tape.
00:27They had to hold the microphone forever.
00:30Well, they found another piece of tape.
00:36They suggested he put it on his skin.
00:39He said, I'll try.
00:41I'll try.
00:42But he didn't want to try.
00:48It didn't work, but he lied.
00:49I think it works.
00:51All right, let's do it.
01:00I'm Trevor Noah, and I'm about to go fishing for answers.
01:07All right, let's do this.
01:08I don't know what's in the bowl.
01:10I don't know what's in my head.
01:11So I guess it's a fair game.
01:12Question one.
01:13Who was your first celebrity crush?
01:17I would have to say it was Jennifer Lopez.
01:20If you had my love and I gave you all my trust, would you comfort me?
01:24And I answered from my bedroom as, I think, a 12-year-old boy.
01:29Yes, J-Lo.
01:30I would comfort you dearly.
01:32And then she got married without me.
01:36Next question.
01:38You had a great segment on The Daily Show about Bernie Sanders' public access show from the 80s.
01:43Can you reenact Bernie talking to the kids?
01:45Oh, this is fun.
01:46This is one of my favorite segments because a lot of people don't know this about Bernie Sanders,
01:49but he's one of the most consistent human beings you'll ever come across.
01:52And what I like about him is that he doesn't panda.
01:55So it doesn't matter if he's talking to constituents or 10-year-olds, Bernie's always going to be like,
01:59What do you think we should do about the economy in this area?
02:03And one of the kids was like, I don't want to go to school.
02:06And he was like, well, you know what?
02:07You're dumb.
02:08I'm trying to argue with these kids.
02:09They think they're very smart and that school is not important.
02:12Yeah.
02:13Is that right?
02:13Well, I disagree with you.
02:15All right?
02:15I think you're dumb.
02:22All right, next question.
02:25How do you do your sexy red carpet pose?
02:28I'll be honest with you.
02:30No one's ready for my sexy red carpet pose.
02:33On the carpet, I try and keep it PG.
02:35I try and keep it safe for everyone watching at home.
02:38Because once I bring sexy, there's no coming back from that.
02:43What's the biggest misconception about comedians?
02:46The biggest misconception about comedians is that we spend all our time making jokes everywhere we go.
02:53But the truth is we're very normal, calm, depressing people.
03:00And we make jokes.
03:01All right.
03:03Final question from the bowl.
03:05Which guest from your show surprised you the most when you interviewed them?
03:11Huh.
03:11Which guest?
03:12I would have to say it was Michael Hayden, ex-director of the CIA.
03:17Because I thought he was going to come in and just say no comment to every question.
03:22But he told me what it was like to run the CIA.
03:25He told me how hard it was to live in a world where you have to decide when to attack people before they attack you.
03:30And you know that there's a life on the other end of every single decision that you're making.
03:34It was honestly one of the most enlightening conversations I've had with a person.
03:38And I genuinely was surprised by it on the show.
03:41And yeah, I'm eternally grateful to him for just coming on the show and burying his soul.
03:47That was really fun.
03:49And the bowl is empty.
03:51Which means I get to go home.
03:53Goodbye, everybody.
