00:00Chef Michael van der Elsen and restauranteur Ganesh Raj are here to challenge our biggest spenders.
00:06You ready?
00:07Oh Jesus.
00:08Transforming kitchens.
00:10Oh what, don't I do?
00:12And boosting nutrition.
00:14I got some spice.
00:15I didn't put any in there.
00:17All to save our hard-earned cash.
00:19Two trolleys.
00:20Come on people.
00:21We get revealing expert help.
00:23It's actually a myth that sugar is linked to hyperactivity.
00:26How can you just say that with a straight face?
00:28And even let you guys in on the act.
00:29Nothing to really blow your socks off.
00:31I don't mind that at all.
00:32It's time we all learned to eat well for less.
00:34Where do we start?
00:35We'll show you.
00:36A year ago this nana was fancy free.
00:39Now she has three kids to care for but it's a struggle.
00:43It's disgusting.
00:44It's so unhealthy I'm killing them.
00:47This week we're in Calston, West Auckland with the Pakus.
01:02A year ago social worker Cheryl's life changed completely as she became full time carer to her three granddaughters.
01:08Atawhai who's ten, Tia eight and Kahu who's five.
01:12I'm the dishwasher, the cop, the nanny.
01:15Yep.
01:16It's all me.
01:17Just pick out the bits you do like please.
01:20Meal time is a major challenge trying to find something everyone will eat and to get Tia and Kahu eating at least some veggies.
01:26The way I feel about veggies is like I want to vomit on them then put them in the bin.
01:32She is the fussiest of us all.
01:35Kahu's the second and I'm the third, probably the third fussiest.
01:38After cooking too many meals nobody eats, Cheryl now tries to get the girls involved in planning their dinner.
01:44So Atawhai you want chicken patties, Tia you want lasagna, Kahu you want skinny chips and cucumber.
01:51Cooking one meal for the whole family is my goal but I have no idea what to cook.
01:57It's cooking stuff that all of them like as well as myself.
02:01For Cheryl eating a better diet is now a personal priority because she's pre-type 2 diabetic and has high cholesterol.
02:08Look at this cat.
02:09I want to be a fit healthy nanny not one who's struggling with my health and with obesity and diabetes.
02:14Which is, dare I say it, a lot of Māoris and Pacific Islanders have that condition.
02:21We're prone to it so I want to be around longer for my grandkids.
02:25Being a full time caregiver has made some big lifestyle changes for Cheryl.
02:31I have cut my working hours down from 40 hour a week paid salary to part time so I try and fit 10 hours maybe more in a week to work.
02:44While it hasn't been an easy transition, Cheryl knew she had to put her family first.
02:49My daughter had an addiction and I needed to intervene and I ended up taking the girls and bringing them here.
02:59We went to visit Kahutea and Arawhae and noticed that their hair wasn't brushed, they looked unkept, they hadn't had a bath.
03:07And asked them how they were and they said they were hungry.
03:13And went and got them something to eat, took them out for the day and just listened to their story and thought I've got to do something about this.
03:22I didn't want to see my whānau like that so, yeah, picked them up for the school holidays and didn't have them ever since.
03:37We're all moving ahead and we've got goals and ambitions and dreams and that's what we want to move forward to and look ahead to rather than what has been.
03:47And one thing they all look forward to is the weekly shock.
03:51Keeping an eye on proceedings are restauranteur Ganesh Raj and chef Michael van der Alzen, who've snuck into the stock room.
03:59Alrighty, here we go.
04:01Who's got the shopping list?
04:03I have.
04:04She's got a list?
04:05Yeah.
04:06That's got to be good.
04:07Nanny likes to choose them a little hard, otherwise they could bruise.
04:12Oh, that's fine.
04:13Shopping with kids, eh?
04:14Always makes me nervous.
04:16Yeah.
04:17Don't read what's on the front.
04:18Let's read what's on the packet, okay?
04:21Sugar.
04:228.8 grams.
04:23Says 5.8 or average serving 23.1.
04:273.9.
04:28Actually, that's pretty good.
04:30That's pretty cool.
04:31She's checking the label, huh?
04:32Look at that.
04:33She's looking at the sugar content.
04:34But she's not checking the salt, though, is she?
04:36Great box.
04:37Marlon!
04:38Uh, we'll get the fine.
04:39No.
04:40Yup.
04:41She's a smart shopper.
04:42That's great.
04:43There's lots of own brains going in there.
04:44That's it.
04:45We've got Nanny burgers, popcorn chicken, and lasagna.
04:49That's you fellas taken care of.
04:51What's Nanny gonna eat?
04:53Sounds like she's cooking separate meals for herself.
04:56And for the kids.
04:57And the kids.
04:58That's never gonna work.
04:59Girls, this is our favourite aisle.
05:02Dad, we went to ice.
05:03Yeah.
05:04I'll get my salt and vinegar.
05:06Doritos!
05:07Are we having Doritos this week?
05:09Do you think those are treats or bribes?
05:11What do you think, mate?
05:12Those look like bribes for sure.
05:14Treat some Milo, please.
05:16Good girl.
05:17Yeah.
05:18Is there a less sugar?
05:20Yeah.
05:21Is that something you'd like to try?
05:22No.
05:23Oh, good on you, Nana.
05:24She's trying, though, eh?
05:25The kids are not going for it, though.
05:27Sausage rolls.
05:28Oh, sausage rolls.
05:29That's it.
05:30That's sausage rolls.
05:31That's it.
05:32Let's go sort these people out.
05:33There's way too much salt in them.
05:34Absolutely.
05:35Okay.
05:36Time for some FSI.
05:38Family shopping intervention.
05:40Hello, family.
05:41Surprise!
05:42Okay.
05:43How are you, Denise?
05:44Kia ora.
05:45Nice to meet you.
05:46Kia ora.
05:47Kia ora.
05:48Are you well?
05:49Yes, thank you.
05:50What do we have in the trolley today?
05:51Tell me.
05:52Um, chips, sausage rolls.
05:53Food.
05:54That's a good thing to have.
05:55Mostly, it's Tia's favourites.
05:57What are these little chicken bites?
05:59You know how much salt's in there, kids?
06:00No.
06:01Ah.
06:02Oh, Nanny didn't look at the salt.
06:03Nanny just looked at the fat.
06:05There's so much here.
06:06Why don't we go through the counter and see what we've got?
06:09Is there a plan?
06:10Come on.
06:11Let's go.
06:12Let's go.
06:13Can I push?
06:14Yes, please.
06:15Let's go.
06:16Let's go.
06:17Once again, Mike and Ganesh are on till duty.
06:18Let's start things off with that.
06:19Shall we?
06:20Look at this.
06:21Quite good value.
06:22Isn't that $14 for a kilo of mince?
06:23That's lasagna.
06:24Yeah?
06:25Lasagna, potea, and Nanny's homemade burgers.
06:27Yes.
06:28One meal for everybody?
06:29Will they all eat the lasagna?
06:30Yes.
06:31That's one meal they will eat all together.
06:33Fantastic.
06:34Yeah.
06:35Michael, the old mashed potatoes made with milk and butter.
06:39Have you ever made mashed potatoes yourself?
06:41Yes.
06:42You have?
06:43Yes.
06:44And you prefer these to homemade?
06:45I'm a busy woman.
06:46This is 12% of your daily salt in one serving.
06:50Really?
06:51Just for this.
06:52I didn't look at the salt.
06:53I looked at the fat and the sugar.
06:56Fat is 1%.
06:57Yeah.
06:58So that's okay.
06:59Yeah.
07:00You're counting those, but you're not counting the salt right now.
07:01I'm not counting the salt.
07:03Cherry tomatoes, amazing snacks.
07:05They have salads.
07:06They light them up to school.
07:07Hang on.
07:08The kids have salads.
07:09They love salads.
07:10They love salads.
07:11They love salads.
07:12Deconstructors.
07:13So you all love Milo?
07:14Not me.
07:15I don't have it.
07:16You don't?
07:17It's for the little people.
07:18Just for the kids.
07:19Just for the kids.
07:20Breakfast, do you start the day with that?
07:21Yes.
07:22Kids, have you ever tried the low sugar one?
07:23Oh.
07:24Wait, no.
07:25I saw it and I asked it.
07:26That could be something.
07:27Full mandarins on there for you.
07:28Mandarins.
07:29And thank you for not using a plastic bag for that.
07:31Yeah.
07:32We're trying to save plastic bags, aren't we, kids?
07:34Water rice.
07:35This camembert stuff is expensive.
07:37Do you have a job?
07:38No.
07:39You need to get one to pay for this camembert.
07:41Can you get a job, please?
07:42Oh.
07:43Oh.
07:44Oh.
07:45Here's the chip train.
07:46Here's the salt train.
07:47Oh.
07:48This is the salt train.
07:50Who eats this stuff?
07:51Me.
07:52The kids.
07:53Sugar train.
07:54Bribes.
07:55Bribes.
07:56Sugar train.
07:57Bribes.
07:58All I hear is treat and bribery.
08:00Sugar salt trains.
08:01That's right.
08:02Treat bribery and sugar salt trains.
08:03All right.
08:04How much do you think today's shop has been?
08:07I'll start with Kahu.
08:09Let's go with ten.
08:10Ten bucks.
08:11She's got ten fingers.
08:12She just went with that.
08:13No.
08:14She means like ten hundred.
08:15Oh, all right.
08:16How much do you think we spent today?
08:17Two hundred and fifty.
08:18Two hundred and fifty.
08:19Two forty.
08:20Two forty.
08:21I'd say a hundred and maybe forty.
08:23A hundred and forty.
08:24All right.
08:25Do you want to know how much?
08:26Yeah.
08:27I do.
08:28All right.
08:29I spent.
08:30You spent.
08:31I spent.
08:32Oh my god.
08:33You're kidding.
08:34That is astronomical.
08:36Nearly three hundred.
08:37Nearly three hundred dollars.
08:39Yeah.
08:40And would you have to come back again after this shop this week?
08:42Uh, yeah.
08:43And milk and bread for the rest of the week.
08:45That's it.
08:46And more top ups.
08:47That's it.
08:48Did you have a list on you today?
08:49Yes, I did.
08:50Did you add a few extras to that list today?
08:51Uh, yes.
08:52Because I brought the kids and it went.
08:54Got me.
08:55That is bad.
08:56There's not that many meals in there for a whole week.
08:59There's a lot of treats.
09:00There's a lot of bribery.
09:01Yeah.
09:02There is.
09:03You think we should go home now?
09:04Yeah.
09:05And, uh, and see what we can work on, eh?
09:07Shall we do that?
09:08Learn some stuff.
09:09Shall we do that?
09:10Andy needs to learn some stuff.
09:11Normally when I go and do a shop with the kids, I always look down and have a look at
09:15the total fats and the sugar, um, but not the sodium.
09:19So I'm not looking at the overall, uh, contents of what's in the, um, ingredients.
09:24Yeah.
09:25It's quite shocking.
09:26Michael and Ganesh run ahead to get a glimpse into what's going on in the family's cupboards.
09:30Let's have a look.
09:31Whoa.
09:32Looky, looky, eh?
09:33It's nice and tidy.
09:34It is.
09:35Not a lot in there, but enough for this family.
09:38You know, whole peeled tomatoes.
09:40Vegetables.
09:41Yep, that's good.
09:42Whole meal.
09:43She's trying to be healthy.
09:44You can see that's happening up there, but wait a minute.
09:46A lot of chips.
09:47Look at that.
09:48Eh?
09:49A lot of chips.
09:50She's trying to save, though.
09:51She's trying to save on waste, like, clipping them all up.
09:53That's the first time we've seen a half-eaten pack of chips.
09:56Hang on a second.
09:58Look over here.
09:59Oh.
10:00Hiding at the back.
10:01Hiding at the back.
10:03We've got packets of instant noodles.
10:07And there's a lot.
10:08There's another ten of them.
10:09Mmm.
10:10But you know what?
10:11Apart from that.
10:12It's pretty good.
10:13It's pretty tidy.
10:14Time to unpack Cheryl's shop and really see what this family is eating.
10:18Look at this, Cheryl.
10:20Yes, a weak shot, Michael.
10:22How does it feel to look at it all like this?
10:24Um, it doesn't actually look that much.
10:26Yeah?
10:27Considering the cost.
10:28I tell you what.
10:29You've done some good work.
10:30Mm-hmm.
10:31Look down here.
10:32Fruit, vegetables, really well done.
10:35Heaps of supermarket-owned brands.
10:36Mm-hmm.
10:37So you're getting some great value in there.
10:38Mm-hmm.
10:39And then in the middle here, we kind of have salt, salt, all the way running down to lots
10:44of salt.
10:45Mm.
10:46And then brands.
10:47This is your celeb section, eh?
10:50I love all your little brands, but don't thank me too soon.
10:53Because what we have here is a whole bunch of items that if you swapped out, you would
10:57get so much better value out of them.
11:00So $288.50 was your shop.
11:02Now, the average Kiwi family your size spends about $280 a week.
11:07Oh, wow.
11:08Really?
11:09So you're actually really-
11:10Oh, I'm doing okay.
11:11You're doing okay.
11:12Mm-hmm.
11:13But I also have some other spending in here.
11:16Oh.
11:17$116 on takeaways, a little bit of sushi, a little bit of McDonald's.
11:22Yes.
11:23When I'm busy or I'm tired.
11:24Yeah.
11:25Or rewards.
11:26Reward, a lot of reward.
11:28And the thing is, you know, your shopping and these rewards add up to $404 a week.
11:34And that's half of my pay.
11:37That's a lot of money.
11:38That's $21,000.
11:39I know.
11:40That's a trip overseas.
11:41How does it make you feel to know those numbers?
11:43I'm pretty sick.
11:44I want to change.
11:45Make it better for us and the kids and more money, more savings, more healthier food.
11:51Get more bang for my buck.
11:53Your heart is in the right place.
11:55Yeah.
11:56Do right by the family.
11:57Mm-hmm.
11:58And we just want to help you do right by your money as well.
12:01Yep.
12:02Totally.
12:03We're all here for you.
12:04Great.
12:05Awesome.
12:07Are you down to change?
12:08I'm up for it.
12:09100%.
12:10We're looking forward to it.
12:12The information that Michael and Ganesh shared with me about my total spend and, you know,
12:17what to look out for and everything like that is really useful.
12:20And I'll be able to teach that to my clients, teach it to the family and just share that information
12:25with others.
12:26I'd like to do that.
12:27While Cheryl's ready, so time to hatch a plan.
12:30You know, Cheryl?
12:31Yeah.
12:32She is such a lovely lady.
12:34She's so amazing and she's taken those kids in.
12:36She's looking after them.
12:37Oh, amazingly well as well.
12:39But I'm afraid that Cheryl doesn't have the whole picture when it comes to the food.
12:44And it's the purchasing of separate meals for all the kids and for Nana.
12:48Absolutely.
12:49That's just not going to be a way that she can move forward.
12:51There's no way to make the family come together.
12:53No.
12:54She's constantly cooking separate meals.
12:56So let's go to the supermarket.
12:58Let's swap out some ingredients and let's see what we can do about this.
13:01Totally.
13:02Cool.
13:03Totally.
13:04But we don't have to drive anywhere.
13:05You've got a computer.
13:06We'll do it here.
13:07Online shopping.
13:08Online shopping.
13:09Totally.
13:10Dude.
13:11Should we do a pickup or a delivery?
13:12I reckon we'll pick it up.
13:14Cool.
13:15This is really easy.
13:16It's going to save us heaps of time.
13:17Yeah.
13:18Rice pops.
13:19Rice pops.
13:20But look at this, right?
13:21If you go down, there's all the nutritional information.
13:26So you can actually see.
13:27Looking on the back of the pack.
13:28That's it.
13:29But from your home.
13:30They've even got recipes on here.
13:33Butter chicken.
13:34Delicious.
13:35And then you can choose all the ingredients and just click on it into the shopping cart.
13:40Yeah.
13:41The great thing about doing this, look at this.
13:42You've got the pricing right there.
13:43Yeah.
13:44Yeah.
13:45So if you're getting close to maximum spend, unclick.
13:48Or if you see any ingredients that you don't like, or you don't want, or you've got some
13:52at home, take that off too.
13:53You can just open up your fridge and go, there it is.
13:56Exactly.
13:57One card's in.
13:58Pay for that.
14:00Credit card's in.
14:01There you go, eh?
14:02You hit checkout.
14:03Bam.
14:04Everything's done.
14:05All we have to do is go and pick it up.
14:07The swaps and recipes all work a treat.
14:09Look at those happy faces.
14:11Okay.
14:12Ganesh and Mike bought online and are back to pick up their shopping.
14:21Alright, so we've done our ordering.
14:22Here to pick up.
14:23Absolutely.
14:24Have you got your ID?
14:25Check.
14:26We're here to pick up an order, please.
14:28Yeah.
14:29Is it for?
14:30It's for Ganesh Raj.
14:31Oh.
14:35And have a lovely day.
14:36We will buy.
14:37Cool, thank you.
14:38That was easy, eh?
14:39Shall we check just quickly?
14:40What have you got?
14:41Have you got the chicken?
14:42I've got the chicken, spring onions.
14:43Fantastic.
14:44Eggs.
14:45Eggs.
14:46Roger.
14:47Oats.
14:48I think that's everything.
14:49Too easy.
14:50Loaded up with swaps, Ganesh and Michael have given the Paku's Kitchen a thorough makeover
14:55with Familiar brand swapped out for plain packaging and with an emphasis on lower salt and sugar.
15:00Okay, I have four free steps.
15:03Whoa.
15:04Give us a look.
15:05Give us a look.
15:06Oh, wow.
15:07To the pantry, Daddy.
15:08I know.
15:09What have you done?
15:10Most of the pantry's blocked off.
15:11Look.
15:12Your breakfast cereals.
15:13They're putting it in here.
15:14Oh, look.
15:15Yay.
15:16We have mixed foods, finally.
15:17We have corn chips.
15:19That face bodes well.
15:20Chocolate malt drink.
15:22That's not Milo.
15:23I know it's not.
15:24Does it taste milk?
15:25Oh, my goodness.
15:26Is this your tomato sauce?
15:27No, I love it.
15:28Thank you, Daddy.
15:29It's organising.
15:30I can see it.
15:31It's not about the advertising.
15:32It's about the food, eh?
15:33Oh, my God.
15:34They smoked paprika.
15:35It's actually yucky.
15:36Those foods are yucky.
15:37It's...
15:38What about...
15:39Look in the fridge now.
15:40Okay, let's go.
15:41Let's go.
15:42Time to lighten the mood a bit with a food swap.
15:44First up, it's the girl's favourite drink, Milo.
15:46Tia, do you think you'll know if that's your Milo or not?
15:49Yeah.
15:50How will you tell?
15:51Because I taste it a lot nearly every morning.
15:54Does it taste like Milo?
15:55I don't know.
15:56It tastes like coconut, too.
15:57Coconut?
15:58Instead of shaking it, I'm just on it.
16:00It tastes like Milo.
16:01Is it your same Milo?
16:02I don't know.
16:03That's the wrong Milo.
16:04How do you know?
16:05Because I have it every morning, Nanny.
16:07Who thinks it might be our normal Milo?
16:10Yes.
16:11I don't know.
16:12You don't know.
16:13I don't know.
16:14So if we bought a cheaper one or less sugar, you wouldn't be happy with that?
16:18I would.
16:19You wouldn't?
16:20I would.
16:21Even if it would taste the same and it has the same packaging and stuff, I still won't.
16:24Tia, that's not the attitude because that was 30% less sugar Milo you were clearly liking.
16:29Ganesh thinks Utawhai might be ready to help out Nanny with a bit of cooking and has got an easy-peasy dinner in mind.
16:35We'll chop these two up.
16:36First chop onions and garlic.
16:37Utawhai is taking no risk with Tia's, though.
16:39Now, what's Nanny's cooking like?
16:41Mmm, it's yummy.
16:43Is it?
16:44Yes.
16:45Do you mean that?
16:46Yes, I do.
16:47I can't see your eyes, so I can't tell, so I'm going to just believe you.
16:50Listen, I keep looking at these nails.
16:53I think it's time for us to go and do our nails together.
16:56Really?
16:57Yeah.
16:58Really?
16:59Yeah.
17:00Spin with me.
17:01Okay.
17:02Three, two, one, go.
17:03Okay, we're done.
17:04Okay.
17:05Wow.
17:06How did that happen?
17:08I don't know.
17:09We have a magic nail book.
17:10Okay, let's get on with it.
17:11We have to heat the oven to 190 degrees.
17:15Bam, done.
17:16I did that with magic.
17:17Fry onions and garlic in a pan.
17:19Once those onions are sizzling, add the tomato paste, peas and grated carrot.
17:24Mmm.
17:25Fantastic.
17:26I want you to just put your nose in there and just tell me how that smells right now.
17:31Oh, that smells delicious.
17:32Isn't it?
17:33Yes.
17:34Okay.
17:35Next, add the tomatoes, rice, chopped capsicum, ground cardamon and seasoning.
17:38Okay.
17:39Mmm, it's good.
17:41Is that good?
17:42Yeah.
17:43That's good.
17:44All right, so, let's do this.
17:46We are going to fill these beautiful-
17:49Capsicums.
17:50Capsicums.
17:51Capsicums.
17:52How easy is that?
17:53It's easy as one, two, three.
17:55That is correct.
17:56Top with grated cheese and pop the lids back on.
18:00I like it.
18:01High five.
18:02Good work.
18:03Cover with foil, then into the oven for 35 minutes.
18:07Well, well, well.
18:11What do we think about that?
18:13Delicious.
18:14Top with sliced almonds, raisins and parsley.
18:18What have you got there, Adfi?
18:20A stuffed capsicum.
18:21Oh, darling, that looks amazing.
18:25Blessings on this food.
18:26Mmm, that is really nice.
18:28It's got lots of flavours.
18:30Yeah.
18:31It's got all the vegetables in there that you'll need.
18:33This has got your five-plus ready to go right there.
18:35Yeah.
18:36You can use that mix as, like, a fried rice mix.
18:38Mmm.
18:39And then if some of the other kids want to put some chicken in there
18:41or something like that, you're not cooking two meals then.
18:43You're still cooking only one meal.
18:46This would be something I'd love to eat again and again and again.
18:50Great result.
18:51And this easy, meat-free dinner is just 313 per portion.
18:54Like many New Zealanders, Cheryl is pre-type 2 diabetic.
18:58But what does that mean?
18:59Over to our nutritionist, Angela, to explain.
19:02Type 2 diabetes is a real hot topic with our families.
19:05And it seems to be affecting so many Kiwis.
19:08But it is avoidable, right?
19:09When it comes to type 2 diabetes, there are a number of different factors at play.
19:13There's genetics and some ethnicities are more predisposed to getting type 2 diabetes.
19:17But there's also strong environmental factors at play as well,
19:21such as reduced fruit and vegetable intake and a reduction in physical activity
19:25so that people aren't getting their 30 minutes of exercise each day.
19:29And that's proper exercise that gets your heart up, right?
19:32Definitely. So we want to be doing exercise at a level where it can come a little bit challenging to talk to one another.
19:38But all exercise counts. The more we can get moving, the better.
19:42So what exactly is type 2 diabetes?
19:44Type 2 diabetes is when our body either doesn't produce enough insulin
19:48or otherwise we're becoming resistant to our insulin.
19:51This can lead up to a build-up of glucose,
19:53which can in turn damage our body's tiny blood vessels and our nerves.
19:57Over time, this can lead to things like developing blindness, gum disease, heart disease,
20:02and also amputations from the nerve endings in our feet being damaged.
20:06That's major.
20:07Wow. So you don't want to get that.
20:09For some of us, we are going to be predisposed to getting diabetes.
20:12We don't want to blame ourselves for having type 2.
20:16But also, we need to actually think about if we're diagnosed with prediabetes,
20:20we can actually help to keep holding it at bay.
20:23And this can be done by following the healthy plate model,
20:25ensuring that we have a really nutrient-dense diet by focusing on diet quality.
20:30Okay.
20:31When we look at our healthy plate,
20:32we want to have about half our plate filled with non-starchy vegetables.
20:36And then it's about a quarter for our carbohydrate foods.
20:39Now, these are the ones that can cause that spike in blood glucose.
20:42We want to keep them more as your whole grains where we can,
20:45but also, look, your starchy vegetables, the potato, kumara,
20:48all count in this carbohydrate portion here.
20:51Our protein is things like our meats, eggs, lentils and other legumes,
20:57and nuts and seeds as well.
20:58So this big vegetable area here, that can be made up of like broccoli,
21:02collie, carrots, spinach, spinach, all of it.
21:06And the more different colours that we can get in there, the better.
21:10Well, this looks like a pretty damn healthy diet for all of us.
21:13Exactly. It's what we should all be following, whether we're a child or an adult.
21:17We should have half that plate of non-starchy vegetables.
21:22Cheryl's totally had it making different meals for everyone.
21:25So will Mike's sticky ribs recipe be a possible whānau favourite?
21:29Hopefully the kids will eat it.
21:31I think Tia might like it, and if I will really love it,
21:35and Kahu might give it a go if she sees her sister eating it.
21:38But I will definitely love it.
21:41First step, throw five star anise, bay leaves, salt and peppercorns
21:45into a large saucepan of water.
21:47Then add the pork ribs.
21:49So this looks like a fancy boiler.
21:51Adding the pork to the flavoured water.
21:54And simmer them for 20 minutes.
21:57Next, the rub.
21:58Mix together salt, paprika, mixed herbs and brown sugar.
22:04Smells quite nice.
22:05And we're just going to do the rib glaze.
22:08The rib glaze is just as easy.
22:10Mix hoisin sauce, honey, soy sauce, grated ginger and garlic
22:13and finally sesame seeds together.
22:16Just give that a nice stir.
22:19That's looking nice and fragrant.
22:22Oh my gosh, that smells so nice.
22:25Love it, love the fragrance, love the smell.
22:28So we're just going to take the ribs out,
22:31place them in the dish and then put the rub on.
22:34Add a generous covering of rub over the rack,
22:37then pop in a 180 degree oven.
22:39Lovely.
22:41After 30 minutes, smother the ribs in the glaze.
22:44This is so easy, this recipe.
22:49Then return to the oven for a final 10 minutes.
22:56And because I'm the chef.
22:58Mm-mm-mm.
23:00Thanks, Mike.
23:02Okay, girls.
23:04Dinner's ready.
23:06It's time to taste.
23:08Thank you for the sweet.
23:09Amen.
23:10Amen.
23:11Right, who wants to try the lovely meat dish?
23:14Just have a little try.
23:17What do you think?
23:18Mm.
23:19You like the flavours?
23:20Yes.
23:21Mm-hmm.
23:22Come on, Tia, just give it a little try.
23:29But that's Nanny's cooking.
23:31It's got a lot of love in it.
23:33Nanny would really like it if you ate a little bit.
23:35Just have a taste.
23:36I'd like to cook this again.
23:38What about you, Utify?
23:39Yeah.
23:40Shall we have this again for dinner?
23:42Yeah.
23:43Cheryl knows a strong-willed Tia can take a few attempts to be persuaded,
23:46but hey, at least there'll be some leftovers.
23:49And it's only 4.40 per plate.
23:51Utify is the most open to trying different food,
23:53but will she be so easygoing if we mess with her and Nanny's favourite,
23:57hummus?
23:58It's a nice little treat for afternoon tea.
24:00Ooh, yummy.
24:01You can have a lady's little snack in the garden.
24:04What flavour do you think it is?
24:06Garlic and...
24:07I think it's the original garlic and something.
24:10Yes.
24:11High five.
24:12I think so too.
24:13Would you have that in your school lunch?
24:15Mm-hmm.
24:16Awesome.
24:17Is that our Lisa's hummus?
24:18Yeah.
24:19It is, eh?
24:20Yeah.
24:21I think so too.
24:22It's not dry, it's creamy.
24:24In fact, it's not their usual brand.
24:27This one has half the salt content.
24:29Could you double dip?
24:31Maybe.
24:32Invented in the 13th century,
24:35hummus has slowly but surely become the world's favourite dip choice.
24:38But which store-bought is best?
24:40We're at Poor Hub Dog Groomers in Glamorous Graylin, Auckland,
24:43and when this team isn't pampering and preening pooches,
24:46they like nothing better than a snack between quaffing.
24:49I think a good hummus has to have a taste of lemon,
24:52because you have, when you're having a drink or something as a snack,
24:55and the lemon is quite nice with that.
24:58I usually make my own hummus, and I like quite chunky.
25:03And, yeah, that's how we do it at home.
25:06Let's see if this Middle Eastern hummus impresses our expert South American groomers.
25:10We're so international.
25:12Today our groomers will be testing the Paku's favourite, Lisa's.
25:15A supermarket-owned brand dips in next.
25:18Will O'Bella be a smooth choice at three?
25:20The Good Taste Company's offering rocks up next.
25:23And Just Hummus, our most expensive choices, last in the line-up.
25:26Let's get to grips with the hummus that's the dip to tip.
25:30First up is O'Bella.
25:33I like it.
25:35It's not like a hummus?
25:36It's quite smooth.
25:37Yeah, it's quite smooth but a little bit better.
25:39I like the texture. It's very creamy. I like it.
25:42Mixed reactions there.
25:44Perhaps the supermarket-owned brand hummus will get the taste buds going.
25:47Mmm.
25:48That's much better.
25:49Nah.
25:50But it's good. It should be acid.
25:51Mmm. I like the other one better.
25:52You can actually see the bits of the...
25:54Of what?
25:55The stuff.
25:56The stuff.
25:57I didn't like this.
25:58You didn't like it?
25:59No.
26:00Gosh, you guys are picky.
26:01It's kind of crazy.
26:03They have more texture.
26:05And you can feel the taste of the lemon.
26:08There is a nice, softer taste to it.
26:10Lisa's hummus is up next.
26:12It's the most affordable hummus on the list, but is it the most delicious?
26:17Mmm.
26:18Master chef.
26:20This is the best.
26:21This is the best one.
26:22Mm-hmm.
26:23I agree.
26:24This is the best one.
26:25I really like that.
26:26Yeah, that must be like a better quality brand one.
26:30Yeah.
26:31It's well-balanced.
26:32Yeah.
26:33Yeah, and you can feel the flavours, like, quite fresh.
26:36Has the Good Taste Company's name over-promised on the hummus front?
26:40That's terrible.
26:41Oh.
26:42The texture is off.
26:43Yeah.
26:44Doesn't feel like hummus.
26:45Yeah.
26:46It's quite grainy.
26:47I feel like food for baby.
26:49Yeah, I don't like that one.
26:53Yeah, I do not like it.
26:54I don't think Kimi would like this.
26:56And finally, a chickpea concoction from Just Hummus.
26:59No?
27:00No.
27:01No.
27:02It tastes like the second one.
27:03This, there was the last one.
27:04No.
27:05It's better than the last one.
27:06Yeah.
27:07It's not that bad.
27:08It's not the best, but it's good.
27:09I never would.
27:10No?
27:11No.
27:12No.
27:13So, which hummus is best in show?
27:14The winner is Lisa's Hummus.
27:15With O'Bella coming second, The Good Taste Company's Hummus was our groomers' least favourite.
27:29I'm not surprised Lisa won the whole contest.
27:34I didn't even know there were many hummus out there, to be honest.
27:39And as Lisa's was also the cheapest hummus on our list, you'd be barking mad to stray elsewhere.
27:45Next up, Nana Cheryl reveals something fabulous to Mike.
27:48Black lipstick.
27:49Black lipstick.
27:50Interesting.
27:51A new day and more food swaps to try out, starting with a fishy family favourite, tinned tuna.
28:03Mmm.
28:04There you come, Tia will play.
28:06Oops.
28:07You like the flavours?
28:09If Nanny brought some more of that, would you like to try that again?
28:12Yes.
28:13Yeah?
28:14You want some, Nana?
28:15Yeah, I'll have some.
28:16Not too spicy.
28:17Mmm.
28:18I reckon I'd eat that.
28:19I'd have mine in a salad.
28:20Have it for tea one night.
28:22Have it for tea one night?
28:23We could do that.
28:24At last, something Tia likes.
28:26Nanny will like the savings too, and even better, this brand is lower in salt.
28:30Hopefully the tide is turning with our tea, so surely Ganesha's classic butter chicken recipe will be a winner,
28:35and all without a jar or a take-out box in sight.
28:38We're going to make Ganesha's slow-cooked butter chicken.
28:40He's left this recipe for us to try.
28:42Yeah.
28:43And hopefully we'll all eat the same dinner.
28:46And then you won't have to cook twice.
28:47Yeah, hopefully.
28:48In a large bowl, mix chicken stock, chopped tomatoes, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric and some seasoning.
28:55Then get those onions chopped.
28:57Oh, are you alright?
28:58Onions.
28:59Oh, the onions.
29:00Oh, God, those are hitting my eyes.
29:03Sorry, you're a bit sensitive, aren't you?
29:06Fry them until translucent.
29:08Next, add grated garlic and ginger to the onion and cook for two minutes.
29:13So, if I put chilli in that meal out of fire, would you eat it?
29:17No.
29:18Don't put too much in it.
29:19Yeah, what about the other two girls?
29:21Do you think they'll eat it?
29:22No.
29:23Why not?
29:24Because they're like, Nanny!
29:26Too hot!
29:27Place the chicken pieces into a slow cooker.
29:30And then the cooked onions to the canned tomatoes mixture.
29:34There's quite a lot of onions.
29:36They'll disintegrate.
29:37You won't even know they're in there.
29:39Actually, it won't be us.
29:40I said, Tia won't know they're in there.
29:42Shh!
29:43Pour the whole lot over the chicken and cook on high for three to four hours.
29:48It was so easy.
29:50When the chicken is cooked, add cream, stevia or sugar and lemon juice.
29:55So, I think this looks really good, but I'm not too sure if the young ones will like this.
30:01But we'll give it a go.
30:02So, is this a meal everyone will eat, including Mike and Ganesh, who've rocked up for lunch?
30:06How easy was this dish to make?
30:07Very easy.
30:08Very easy.
30:09Very easy.
30:10And I had a little helper.
30:11Yeah.
30:12Wee!
30:13We got it, yes.
30:14Here we go.
30:15Put a bit of sauce on that.
30:16Yeah!
30:17It's soaking into my rice!
30:18Oh!
30:19There's no trickery there.
30:20I'll fix it.
30:21Put it in another plate.
30:22New plate.
30:23Okay, stop Tia.
30:24This is delicious.
30:25I actually really like that sauce.
30:27I want some more now.
30:28Do you?
30:29Yes.
30:30Amazing.
30:31Good job.
30:32You've done a really good job.
30:33Your recipe.
30:35The best part about this is, as you eat this more and more often, you can choose to add
30:38little things to it.
30:39You can add potatoes.
30:40And we may even get some other people on the table trying it.
30:43That would be nice.
30:44Potentially.
30:45If Cheryl perseveres, and remember new dishes can take up to 10 attempts to win kids around,
30:51Ganesha's butter chicken is only $4 per plateful.
30:55Next on the food swap list is another family favourite, corn chips.
30:59There's a better way to sample those than as nachos.
31:02You want the red plate?
31:03Yes.
31:04And I can put that on.
31:08Mmm.
31:09Nice, eh?
31:11Yeah.
31:12Tia, are you going to eat your corn chips, darling?
31:15I'm not even going to try them.
31:17Why?
31:18I like Doritos better.
31:19But they don't have cheese flavour on them.
31:22That's right.
31:23They don't have all those artificial flavourings.
31:25And these ones are much healthier.
31:27These are a little bit more crunchy.
31:29They're not so soft.
31:30Mmm.
31:31Not full of all that orange powder.
31:34My hands still taste like Doritos.
31:36Mmm.
31:37They do, don't they?
31:40They taste very delicious.
31:42We swapped out the Doritos.
31:43And if they stick with them, they'll save a dollar a bag.
31:46And they'll be consuming only 1% of the salt than their pricier usual brand.
31:51Chips are just one of the foods often loaded with food colouring that kids seem to love.
31:55So we asked Angela Beryl to reveal what's going on.
31:59So these just scream cheese.
32:02But the thing is, cheddar doesn't look this colour.
32:05So why do so many chips look radioactive?
32:09We eat with our eyes.
32:11And one of the strongest determinants of how we taste food is how it actually looks.
32:16And we kind of link a more intense colour to a more intense flavour.
32:20We eat with our eyes.
32:21So what you're saying is they trick us into buying food using food colouring?
32:26Look, the colour can actually make the food look more appealing.
32:28And it might be added because the colour might have been lost out of the food during processing.
32:33And there can be a combination of, say, synthetic colours, which have been manufactured commercially,
32:37versus those that are natural.
32:39And they might have come from the food dyes from, say, the likes of your beetroot
32:43or other sorts of fruit and vegetables as well.
32:45So there's not a lot of goodness in there, is there?
32:48There's not much nutrition in a bowl of chips like this.
32:51So we're better off looking for more nutritious snack options to be giving to our kids.
32:56So we shouldn't really be putting these in kids' lunch boxes, shall we?
32:59Every now and again as a treat, it's probably not going to be a problem within the context
33:03of an overall healthy, balanced diet filled with lots of whole and less processed foods.
33:08So if we open up a whole pack of this and we go and sit down in front of the TV?
33:12Mmm.
33:13Not a good thing.
33:14When we sit down distracted, whether it's in the front of the TV or eating in the car,
33:18we tend to eat mindlessly rather than mindfully.
33:21It can actually lead us to eating more than perhaps if we tuned into our body's fullness and hunger cues.
33:27So take them out of the packet, put them into a little bowl, do the packet up, put the packet away,
33:32and then you can sit down and have your little bowl.
33:34Exactly.
33:35So it's being mindful of how much we're eating and listening to those fullness cues.
33:39Michael wants to teach Cheryl that the family can enjoy desserts together without necessarily loading up on lots of fat and sugar.
33:46We're making little mini baked cheesecakes.
33:49Put oil and honey into a saucepan, then add porridge oats and ground mixed spice and stir until everything is coated.
33:56Now we pack that into our little muffin tins.
33:58Oh, that's so easy.
33:59Smell is delicious.
34:00Mmm.
34:01So this is just a fun thing you can get the kids involved in.
34:04Yeah.
34:05Usually on a Sunday we'll do a little baking.
34:07So Sundays is family day?
34:09Yeah, family day, rest day.
34:10Sundays.
34:11Okay, cream cheese.
34:12Mm-hmm.
34:13So now I just need to add some yoghurt to that.
34:15I hear you're into certain dressing up to themes.
34:19Steampunk.
34:20Steampunk.
34:21If you had a favourite outfit to put on, what would you wear?
34:26I've got a long gown and then I put a shirt under that, my corset.
34:32I've got a leather steampunk hat, black lipstick.
34:36Black lipstick, stop it!
34:38And Doc Martens.
34:40And do the kids come out and go, oh, na-na?
34:43No, they get dressed up with me and we all go together.
34:45We love doing that.
34:46Why not?
34:47Turns out this family is full of surprises.
34:49Next, mix together the topping.
34:51Using yoghurt and reduced fat cream cheese makes it a healthier option.
34:55Replacing the sugar with stevia is another healthy tip.
34:58Stevia is a natural sweetener.
35:01So it's a plant-based sweetener opposed to an artificial sweetener.
35:05And two tablespoons of stevia will replace four tablespoons of normal sugar.
35:12Oh.
35:13Next, add lemon juice, eggs, vanilla paste and corn flour.
35:16Then mix.
35:19We're good to go.
35:20They do take a while to bake.
35:21Mm-hmm.
35:22But because we're putting them into little tiny muffin tins, it speeds that up tremendously.
35:26So these are only going to be 15 minutes in the oven.
35:29And then we just need to give them a little bit more time to set.
35:33Pour over the oat mixture and pop into the oven for 15 minutes.
35:36Don't they look lovely?
35:37Oh, they look delicious, Mike.
35:38So these have been in the oven for 15 minutes and then we'll just let them sit for about
35:43an hour just to set.
35:44Mm-hmm.
35:45So fingers crossed they will come out.
35:46I'm sure they will.
35:47So what you do is just run a knife around the outside.
35:48Oh yeah, they're pretty separated already.
35:49Mm-hmm.
35:50Look at that.
35:51Here we go.
35:52Here we go.
35:53Here we go.
35:54Perfect.
35:55Woo-hoo!
35:56Don't they look good?
35:57Oh, they look gorgeous.
35:58Finishing touches.
35:59Topped with mixed berries and lemon zest.
36:01Time to see if the rest of the family thinks they're a hit.
36:04Yes.
36:05Mm-hmm.
36:06Don't they look good?
36:07Oh, they look delicious.
36:08That's amazing.
36:09These are little...
36:10Mini cheesecake.
36:11Mini cheesecake.
36:12Mini cheesecake.
36:13Mini cheesecake.
36:14Yes.
36:15Mm-hmm.
36:16Don't they look good?
36:17Oh, they look delicious.
36:18Looks like greens.
36:19What do you think, girls?
36:20I think it's delicious.
36:21You think it's delicious?
36:22Yeah, it's delicious.
36:23Nanny could make these?
36:24Yeah.
36:25You like it?
36:26Yeah, kind of.
36:27Kind of?
36:28Have another mouthful.
36:29I think that kind of from this young lady is pretty good.
36:30I like that.
36:31We're gonna have that again.
36:32Yeah, it's great.
36:33Mm.
36:34These baked versions are healthier than most cheesecakes and affordable at only $2.67 per serve.
36:48Cheryl is doing her best to recycle and avoid plastic bags when she shops.
36:52But what are the supermarkets doing to help us do the same?
36:56We sent Ganesh to meet Countdown's big cheese, Kiri Hannafin.
37:00So what is Countdown doing to help us use plastics more sustainably?
37:04The main thing we're doing is taking plastic away from our business.
37:07So over the last year, we've removed about 120 tonnes of plastic from principally our produce
37:11departments, which is great.
37:12Kiwis really want us to do that.
37:13We're also introducing things like BYO containers in our delis and our meat counters and our seafood
37:18counters, which customers also seem to really love.
37:21We've introduced BYO bags to our online service, which when you come pick up your groceries,
37:25you can bring your own bags.
37:26That's also pretty cool, right?
37:27But pretty much we're reducing, we're removing, we're swapping into recycled plastic wherever
37:31we can.
37:32We're really on a really big mission to do better in this space.
37:34Cool.
37:35Find out what gives Cheryl this reaction.
37:38Reveal time next.
37:40How do you think they went?
37:46Well, hopefully well.
37:47Me too.
37:48I'm worried about them.
37:49We need to get that salt down.
37:50We need to get the sugar down.
37:51Totally.
37:52Totally.
37:53Wait till they see what we've got in our bags.
37:55That's going to be scary for them.
37:56It is.
38:01Hey!
38:02How are you?
38:03How are you?
38:04Are you well?
38:05We're back.
38:06Come on in.
38:07Kia ora.
38:08How's it been with the food?
38:09We've had a few challenges, but overall I think the kids have been pretty good.
38:14Were there a couple of small wins?
38:17Overall?
38:18Something for everyone.
38:19I think we had a lot of successes.
38:20Fantastic.
38:21It is baby steps, you know, because this is a lot of new stuff going on for the kids.
38:24And then before you know it, as they get older they'll try new stuff.
38:27That's it.
38:28Just slowly increasing their repertoire of dishes that they're going to eat.
38:32Well, shall we see how the swaps win?
38:35Yes.
38:36You might remember, at the supermarket, you spent about $290 at the time.
38:45It was really close to what the average Kiwi family spent.
38:48But we had really serious concerns about what you were buying.
38:52Your salt.
38:53And the sugar.
38:54So we purposefully swapped some things out.
38:57Be happy to see, guys.
38:58Happy to see.
38:59Let's see how it went down and whether the pricey celeb brands were missed.
39:03Okay?
39:04Now it's celebrity.
39:05Bring it on.
39:06First up, the girl's favourite malt drink.
39:07Who thinks it might be our normal Milo?
39:10Yes.
39:11You'll be pleased to know that that is what she had.
39:15But check this out.
39:16What?
39:17What?
39:18We swapped it out.
39:19She didn't really notice.
39:20No.
39:2130% less sugar.
39:22Mm-hmm.
39:23Right?
39:24That's a huge amount.
39:25Especially if they're having this every day.
39:26Every day.
39:27That's a massive saving.
39:28So all you have to do, put this in the other packaging.
39:30I will.
39:31Into their job.
39:32Don't tell them.
39:33No change in the price.
39:35It's alright.
39:36But incredible change in the amount of sugar going in.
39:39Definitely.
39:40So this is a win.
39:41This is a swap, yeah?
39:42That's a swap.
39:43It's a quiet swap.
39:44She's in.
39:45Fantastic.
39:46Next up, it's Tins Tuna.
39:47Have it for tea one night.
39:48Have it for tea one night?
39:49We could do that.
39:50You will be so impressed.
39:52This is a supermarket-owned tuna.
39:54Oh.
39:55That wasn't branded.
39:56It wasn't one of your branded tunas.
39:59They didn't know the difference and that's how much you say.
40:02No way.
40:03That's a dollar.
40:04That's a dollar off each pack.
40:06So this is another swap, isn't it?
40:08Yep.
40:09That's me.
40:10That's a buy-in.
40:11See those slip rings?
40:12They'll get you.
40:13They do.
40:14They get my money.
40:16How did the hummus go down?
40:18Would you have that in your school lunch?
40:19Mm-hmm.
40:20Didn't taste any changes.
40:21You could taste the garlic flavour.
40:23The texture was still the same.
40:25We didn't notice any difference.
40:26Did we swap it?
40:27I don't know, Michael.
40:29Would you?
40:30Let's have a look.
40:31Yes, we did.
40:32Yes, we did.
40:33Yes, you did.
40:34Supermarket-owned brand.
40:35Sure did.
40:36Do it.
40:37And a small saving.
40:38Yes.
40:39That's still good though, 70 cents.
40:40That's right.
40:41We'll eat a couple of those a week.
40:42It's great.
40:43Yeah.
40:44It's perfect.
40:45It all adds up.
40:46That's a keeper?
40:47Yeah, that's a keeper.
40:48I like tomatoes better.
40:49I like tomatoes better.
40:50This is what you had?
40:51Uh-uh-uh.
40:52Today?
40:53No.
40:54Actually, it started off, Kahu enjoyed it.
40:57Yeah.
40:58What if I just thoroughly enjoyed it?
40:59I enjoyed it.
41:00Yeah.
41:01Didn't get the buy-in from Tia.
41:02Alright.
41:03Which is a bit unfortunate.
41:04I used to actually buy those before the kids came.
41:06So, it's also a saving.
41:08I like that.
41:09Yeah?
41:10We can make that happen.
41:11We'll work on Tia.
41:12Oh, that's going to be slight, but we're going to get there.
41:13Absolutely.
41:14Good on you.
41:15So, just by straying from your celeb brands, you can bring your 290 shop down by taking away
41:23almost $41 off that.
41:24That's a huge saving.
41:25It's great.
41:26It's going in my holiday fund.
41:27Absolutely.
41:28That's $2,132 a year.
41:30See, I'm in the tropics already.
41:33But here's the thing.
41:35There's actually a more serious message that we've found underneath all of this.
41:38So far, the difference between the salt and the shop that you were doing and with your
41:43savings is this much salt per week.
41:46I mean, that was going into your family before.
41:49All of that on a weekly basis.
41:51That's disgusting.
41:52That's so unhealthy, I'm killing them.
41:54That is 112 grams of salt a week that was going into your family.
42:00That we've taken out through the swaps.
42:02It's a lot of salt.
42:03It's a lot of salt.
42:04That's a lot of salt.
42:05It's going to save my health and the kids' health.
42:07Yeah.
42:08Very surprised.
42:09There's more.
42:10There is more.
42:11There's always more.
42:12Not the sugar.
42:13The sugar.
42:14Which is a big thing for you.
42:16It is huge.
42:17The first thing we saw when we went to the supermarket was you reading all the brands.
42:21I've got a container here of sugar.
42:25Let me just show you this on the table.
42:27Oh my God.
42:28Are you ready for this?
42:29Yeah, I am.
42:30This is over a kilo of sugar.
42:35A week.
42:36This is what we've taken out of your weekly shop.
42:42That's amazing.
42:43Originally, that was two and a half kilos of sugar in your weekly shop.
42:50We've taken half of that out.
42:52There it is there.
42:53I'm surprised.
42:54I'm borderline diabetic and if I continue to eat the way I was, I'll be on the medication.
42:59We are so grateful you let us into your home to help you out with all of this.
43:02We really are.
43:04I'm really thankful.
43:05We're really grateful.
43:06I just hope we've made a bit of a difference.
43:07Oh, you have.
43:08You have.
43:09A tremendous difference.
43:10We can do it.
43:11You can do it.
43:12We believe in you, man.
43:13Yeah.
43:14You can do it.
43:15I need a hug.
43:16Take it.
43:17Take it.
43:18Take it.
43:20You're so good at what you do.
43:22It's been a life changer.
43:23It's been a big game changer.
43:24And I'm going to stick to those changes.
43:27Okay.
43:28Put it on.
43:29Put it on.
43:30This is the steampunk look.
43:31I don't know whether I can get these over my glasses.
43:32Try it.
43:33Here we go.
43:34I mean, it doesn't matter that I can't see anything.
43:35I can't see anything.
43:36It's not important that I can't see anything.
43:37But what's important is that we are now steampunkers.
43:41Is that a word?
43:42We are steampunkers.
43:43Is that a word steampunkers?
43:44I think I'm more steam than punk.
43:46I think I'm more punk.
43:47Well, yeah, I am more punk.
43:48I'm more punk.
43:49I'm more punk.
43:50I'm more punk.
43:52I'm more punk.
43:54I'm more punk.
