Daisy Ridley has some strong feelings about the relative cuteness of "Baby Yoda" and the Porgs from the 'Star Wars' universe.
Transcript
00:00Said a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, a guy named Vader tried to kidnap
00:06the rebel princess Leia.
00:08Why yes, that is Daisy Ridley wrapping the entire plot of Star Wars on The Tonight
00:12Show with host Jimmy Fallon playing Hype Man or Cardholder.
00:16The actress stopped by the late night talk show on Monday night to talk all about
00:19the franchise's last film, The Rise of Skywalker, which will conclude the famous
00:23Skywalker saga. So if you've never seen any of the movies or if you just need a
00:27quick refresher before the final film drops, don't worry, Daisy's got you.
00:38Aside from impressively spitting bars, the actress also took a trip down memory lane on
00:42her time on the franchise and how she had to keep the casting news a secret when she,
00:46a relative newcomer to the industry at the time, was first offered the role of Rey
00:50in The Force Awakens. And fans will be delighted to know that Ridley even weighed in
00:54on her feelings about Baby Yoda and the Porgs from the Star Wars universe.
00:58But her thoughts on the latter are pretty harsh. When asked which is cuter Baby Yoda,
01:02the name given by social media users, to an adorable creature featured in Disney Plus'
01:06Star Wars series The Mandalorian, or the cute little Porgs introduced in The Last Jedi,
01:11Ridley didn't hesitate.
01:12Look, I'm not a big fan of the Porgs.
01:19We worked for six months on The Last Jedi.
01:22And in every interview. What about the Porgs?
01:24I thought the Porgs were there for a day.
01:26I was there every day for six months.
01:28Okay, wait, but can we go back to the rapping one more time?
01:30So good.
01:44All right, for more on Disney's Tonight Show interview, head to THR.com.
01:47And until next time, for The Hollywood Reporter News, I'm Neha Joy.
