00:00But the real winner last night
00:02was anyone watching the halftime show.
00:03We all know the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl,
00:06but even days later, people seemed to be much more focused
00:08on Shakira and Jennifer Lopez's energetic halftime show,
00:12which featured J-Lo showing off the same moves she did
00:14in the film Hustlers, and performing on a pole.
00:17On CBS's The Late Show Stephen Colbert said
00:19of the halftime show, first Shakira,
00:21whose hips again did not lie while under oath,
00:24then J-Lo, who showed off an impressive pole dance.
00:27Yes, it's a tradition dating back to Super Bowl I
00:29when Bob Hope did the exact same choreography.
00:33It looks good.
00:34Over on Comedy Central's The Daily Show, Trevor Noah said,
00:37some people were really pissed that J-Lo pulled out
00:39a stripper pole to do some moves.
00:41For all those parents, just tell your kids J-Lo is a fireman.
00:44Noah then acknowledged that Lopez spent months learning
00:47how to be a professional dancer for Hustlers,
00:50in which she played a stripper.
00:51He said, if I spent that much time learning how to pole dance,
00:54I would be pole dancing every chance I get.
00:57Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon related the halftime show
00:59to the Iowa caucuses during a new smash segment
01:01on NBC's The Tonight Show.
01:03The winner will gain momentum while the losers
01:05slide down the poles.
01:06You know who else laid down a pole?
01:08J-Lo in the Super Bowl halftime show.
01:10And on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live,
01:12the late night host briefly discussed the halftime show,
01:14explaining that most everyone seemed to like it,
01:17including former Florida governor Jeb Bush.
01:19Best Super Bowl halftime show ever.
01:24Period, no exclamation point.
01:26Low energy, low energy.
01:29That's just Jebby from the block.
01:31All right, for the full late night segments,
