00:00The Lord, always, and from what we have received we give.
00:09The Bible says that everything we have is because we received it from the Lord.
00:15And every man is like that because God created us.
00:18And He gave us everything, every gift, every ability, it was before God.
00:25And God distributed it to each human being.
00:30Brothers, let us trust in the Lord because He is good.
00:37Let us trust that He has the power to transform our hearts, that we may not have confidence in ourselves.
00:43So let us trust in the power of God.
00:47And on that afternoon let us listen to His word, and that word has the power to transform us.
00:53It is the word of God, not human words.
00:56And we pray, let us pray now, that the Lord will work in our hearts.
01:01And help us understand many things that we still don't understand.
01:08And that it may create and bring life to us, and that life may be seen in reality.
01:13Let's put it into practice.
01:15Lord, we thank you for this afternoon, Lord.
01:21Great is your name, Lord, and you are faithful always, Lord.
01:24Thank you for this afternoon, Lord.
01:27And we know that you are present with us, that is why we come, Lord.
01:30Because if not, you're not here, so why come, Lord?
01:34Just to pass the time.
01:36Oh Lord, help the Lord to trust in you, in your word, Lord, which is the truth, Lord.
01:44Thank you for this afternoon, Lord.
01:47And bless your word in the name of your Son.
01:50Amen.
01:50Well, brother, I'm going to talk about hope, love, and perseverance.
02:05Hope, love, and perseverance.
02:08Hebrews, chapter 10, verses 23 to 25.
02:14Hebrews, chapter 10, verses 23 to 25.
02:20He tells us, let us hold fast without wavering the profession of our hope,
02:28because he who promised is faithful.
02:31And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
02:37not neglecting to meet together, as some are in the habit of doing,
02:42but urge one another on, and all the more as you see that day approaching.
02:49Amen.
02:49Glory to the Lord.
02:52I have it divided into three parts.
02:56The first part, affirming hope in God's faithfulness,
03:02urging us, stimulating us to love and good works, the second.
03:08And the third, to persevere in the congregation, in mutual encouragement,
03:13because the coming of Christ is near.
03:23To affirm hope in God's faithfulness.
03:26It tells us in the first verse, let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,
03:34because he who promised is faithful.
03:36Here, brother, in the first verse, let us stand firm without wavering.
03:41Let us be firm in what we believe.
03:45Without fluctuation, without that fluctuation is to be unstable.
03:49And I have it written down here, the term fluctuate comes from the Latin fluctuare,
03:55verb derived in turn from fluctus, which means wave, swell, instability, insecurity.
04:02Of course, there is no stability.
04:06Now I am there, now I am like this, now I trust in the Lord, later I do not trust in the Lord.
04:11I believe what He says now, later I don't believe, I trust more in what I think.
04:18So, but the scripture here does not say, let us stand firm without wavering.
04:23Let us be firm.
04:24And here it gives us the heart, brother, why?
04:26Because that's not confidence in ourselves.
04:30It's not about trusting human beings.
04:32No, it's not about trusting ourselves, our abilities.
04:35If it tells us here, without wavering, the pressure of your hope.
04:40In what we believe, the hope that came through the preaching of the gospel and the word of God.
04:45And He agrees with us, because He who promised is faithful.
04:50He tells us, without wavering, because God is faithful.
04:54Trust in the Lord.
04:56You are not deceived, neither by your heart, nor by the world, nor by other words.
05:01Stand firm in God's promise, in the hope that the gospel produces.
05:07Trust, don't be fooled.
05:09Be steadfast, firm in what the Lord has said, for He is faithful.
05:15And that's where our trust and our foundations should lie.
05:18Not in ourselves, not in anything else, but in the faithfulness of God, because He is faithful and will fulfill what He promised.
05:26Let us hold fast to our hope, brothers.
05:33In other words, we live in a very unstable world.
05:38More than anything, we must stand firm in this world of great instability.
05:42When there are many attacks against the gospel, let us stand firm in the hope we have through the gospel.
05:50Because the foundation is not in us, we are the rock.
05:54The foundation is God's faithfulness in fulfilling it.
05:58He keeps His word, and all His promises in the Scriptures are yes and amen.
06:04Because God cannot lie.
06:06And the word of God is truth.
06:08Therefore, our trust, as I have said before, must be in the faithfulness of God.
06:12Stand firm, do not waver like the waves of the sea.
06:16There, here, now I trust, I distrust.
06:19Now, no, let us stand firm in what the Lord promises us.
06:24For he who promised is faithful, says the Scripture.
06:27God is faithful, think about that, brother.
06:30And make that word alive in your heart.
06:34And think about that, that God is faithful.
06:38God is faithful.
06:39In the First Gospel of Saint Vincent, chapter 5, verse 24, it tells us.
06:45He who calls us is faithful, and he will do it.
06:50Faithful is the one who calls us, the one who will also call us.
06:54Everything God promised in his word, he will fulfill.
06:58Another part of Scripture says that He will look upon His word, that all His word will be fulfilled.
07:04Because God cannot lie.
07:05He is faithful, He is that way by nature, brother.
07:08We need to understand that, God is faithful by nature.
07:12He cannot deny himself.
07:15This is how our Lord and our foundation are on the rock, in God, who is faithful and will fulfill everything He says.
07:23So, brother, let us trust in the Lord, for He is just.
07:34He is perfect, He is faithful.
07:37In number 23, verse 19, it tells us.
07:42God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should repent.
07:46He gave and he will give.
07:48He spoke and he will carry it out.
07:52God is not a man that he should lie, brother.
07:55God, that has to be an absolute truth for us too, the rock in our hearts.
08:01God is not a man, he does not lie.
08:03He never lied and he never will.
08:05God is the truth.
08:06He cannot lie, and everything He says is always true to who He is and He always keeps His word.
08:14See how God says, God is not a man that he should lie, nor a son of man that he should repent.
08:20He said it, but he won't do it.
08:22It gives us a little question.
08:23He said, God, who always keeps his word, is faithful.
08:27He said it, but he won't do it.
08:29Yes, brother, he will.
08:30Because He keeps His word.
08:32And he will not execute it.
08:33It turns us on, doesn't it?, he asks us.
08:36He who always keeps his word is faithful.
08:39Will He not do what He has said to us in His promise, in His word, all that He promises us?
08:44Yes, he will do it because he is faithful, as the Scripture says there, brother.
08:48And he will fulfill it.
08:49God is faithful.
08:50A very important characteristic of God is his faithfulness.
08:53God is faithful in everything He does, brother.
08:59So, trust in the Lord.
09:00Trust in His faithfulness, as I have said before.
09:08As I've said before, because He keeps His word.
09:13In Deuteronomy, chapter 7, verse 9, it tells us.
09:17Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy with those who love him, and keeps his commandment to a thousand generations.
09:30Look, something important.
09:32Know therefore that the Lord your God is God.
09:35Faithful God.
09:39Know that, understand that, apply that to your heart.
09:43God is faithful and keeps his promises.
09:46He says he keeps the covenant and the mercy.
09:50Keep the covenant and the mercy.
09:52And what does Jesus Christ say?
09:53That's a new pact.
09:55In my blood, in my body, in my blood that will be shed on the cross.
10:02It's a new pact.
10:03God makes a covenant with us.
10:05And He promises us that if we have Jesus Christ in all our hearts, there is eternal life and we are saved.
10:11Through the blood of the Lamb.
10:13Then, God fulfills his promise.
10:15He keeps his promises.
10:17Because He is faithful.
10:18It says here, "To those who love him and keep his commandment, brother."
10:25In 2 Timothy, chapter 2, verses 11 and 13.
10:302 Timothy, chapter 2, verses 11 and 13.
10:34He tells us, this word is faithful.
10:37But why is he faithful?
10:38Because it is the word of God.
10:41If we dwell with Him, we will also live with Him.
10:44If we suffer, we will also inherit with Him.
10:47If we deny Him, He will also deny us.
10:50If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful.
10:54He cannot deny himself.
10:57Brothers, this is about what God is by nature.
11:01Even if we are unfaithful, He remains faithful to His promises.
11:04Because?
11:05Because He does not deny Himself.
11:07That's just his nature.
11:09God is immutable and unchangeable.
11:11He cannot change.
11:13It is immutable.
11:14He is faithful.
11:14He does not deny himself.
11:16And he keeps all his promises.
11:18Then what joy, what happiness, knowing and understanding.
11:22That's true, isn't it?
11:23About our God.
11:25That produces confidence and stability in us.
11:28And it doesn't let us fluctuate.
11:30Because we know that he who promised, fulfills his promises.
11:33Because He is faithful, brother.
11:35That is the foundation we rely on.
11:38That's not what I think I'm going to do.
11:40Or what I can do.
11:42Without my trust in God's faithfulness.
11:46So, let's be like that.
11:47And let us act with that firmness, let us walk in the word of the Lord, trusting in the Lord.
11:53Because He is faithful and keeps His promises.
11:55In Hebrews, chapter 6, verses 17 to 19.
12:01Hope is the angel of our soul.
12:04We live by the hope that the Gospel produced in us.
12:10It is a new life, a new hope.
12:13We are resurrected to the hope of eternal life in Christ Jesus.
12:19New creation.
12:22We are already seeing a different world.
12:23We have faith in the Lord.
12:25That we are going to spend eternity with Him.
12:27And we are anchored.
12:29Our soul is anchored in the faithfulness of God.
12:32Because what He promises, He will fulfill.
12:35Because it says so here.
12:37Therefore, God wanting to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise,
12:44the immutability of his advice, he swore an oath.
12:49So that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie,
12:54May you find great comfort.
12:58We have come here to take hold of the hope set before us.
13:02This we have as sure, secure and firm, an anchor of the soul, and it penetrates the inner sanctuary behind the veil.
13:12He realizes that one says, because God promises, what is immutable...
13:16It is impossible for God to lie, He does not make promises, and that is the anchor of our soul.
13:24What we are anchored in, safe.
13:27And we trust because God does not lie, God is faithful in everything He tells us, it will come to pass.
13:34He swore by his name and that he will keep it, and God cannot lie, brother.
13:38Do you believe it this way?
13:40In him who believes in me, as the Scripture says.
13:43Great peace has those who believe in me, those who read the Scriptures and know God.
13:48Because that's what it's all about.
13:49Knowing God's faithfulness and imputability produces in us stability and firmness in what God is and in his promise.
13:59But that's why we need to read Scripture to know God.
14:03And this is eternal life, brother.
14:06John 17, verse 3.
14:07That I may know you, the only true God.
14:11And to Jesus Christ whom you sent, to know God, the faithfulness of God, and to trust in the faithfulness of God.
14:18To be steadfast in God's faithfulness, knowing that God is unchanging, as it says here.
14:24For it says, "Therefore, God wanting to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise."
14:33That we are heirs of the promise.
14:35Promise of eternal life, new heaven and new earth.
14:39Well, heir with Christ, brother.
14:42We are heirs, heirs with Christ of all that will come from the kingdom of God.
14:46From the new heaven, the new earth.
14:48And God, because of his abundance of promise, the imputability of his counsel, decided that the Lord does and will accomplish it.
14:57And nobody can change it.
14:59He does what he says.
15:01And it reaffirms us; we must reaffirm ourselves in God's promise and trust and believe.
15:08Because that produces peace and joy in our hearts.
15:11And an oath was sworn.
15:13Yeah?
15:13Horror.
15:14So that by two immutable things, by two things that cannot be changed, in which it is impossible for God to lie.
15:23In which it is impossible for God to lie.
15:26So, brother, as we saw at the beginning, what can we trust?
15:30Let's stand firm.
15:32Let us hold fast without wavering the profession of our hope.
15:35Without wavering, have hope, for He who promised is faithful.
15:40God is faithful, and He cannot lie.
15:42And everything He says, He fulfills.
15:44Perseverance, brother, is born from trust in God and in His faithfulness.
15:53No one can truly persevere without trusting in God.
15:58Because if you do not trust in God, when trials come, when there is hindrance, when there is an attack from the darkness of Satan,
16:05When our mind, our heart deceives us, if we do not trust in the Lord, we waver.
16:11So, we didn't persevere.
16:13We don't persevere, and we can give even more.
16:16But our trust must be in the Lord.
16:19But, as I said before, we need to read God's word to trust in God.
16:27Our trust is in God, who is faithful, who keeps his word and never changes.
16:33And let's leave it at that, brother.
16:35Our trust is in God, who is faithful, who cannot lie, and who is immutable and never changes.
16:42Believe in God's scripture.
16:44Because he who believes in that word has great peace, brother.
16:48Okay, let's move on to the second subheading which tells us,
16:54Encouraging us to love and good works.
16:58Here in verse 24 it tells us,
17:01And let us consider one or the other to encourage us to love and good works.
17:05Therefore, if we trust and persevere in the Lord,
17:10That should be our attitude, an attitude of love.
17:12God called us to love others.
17:17To love God and to love our brothers and sisters.
17:20Because in that it will be fulfilled, there are two commandments.
17:22You shall love God above all things and your neighbor as yourself.
17:26So, if we have that hope and weakness in God's promise,
17:30And we are disciples of Jesus, what we learn from Jesus is to love as God loves.
17:37It is loving in the way that God loves.
17:39Not as we want to love, but as we are driven to love.
17:43We, the flesh, tend to love what brings benefits.
17:49The flesh loves those who love it.
17:51Meat likes to be with those who appreciate it, with those who value it.
17:58But God calls us to love those who are difficult to love,
18:01because we went and lived our sins,
18:06And in that condition God loved us.
18:08Hard to love.
18:10The Bible says that we were hateful and we hated others.
18:15In Titus, chapter 3, beginning with verse 3, it tells us,
18:19We were detestable and I would come to detest others.
18:22And in that condition God, in his mercy, saved us and loved us.
18:27So, that is the love to which the Lord calls us.
18:31Real, true faith, genuine faith, impels the believer to love.
18:36because that faith is the nature of God in us.
18:40If God is love and Christ is being formed within us,
18:44That motivates us to love others,
18:47to make an effort.
18:49But we cannot do it by our own strength.
18:51We need the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
18:56It is an intimacy with God to learn from Him,
18:59and each day to make us more like Him.
19:04In Galatians 6, verses 9 and 10, it tells us,
19:11Let us not tire of doing good,
19:13Because in due time we will arrive, if we do not lose heart.
19:17So, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all.
19:21and especially those of the family of faith.
19:24Let us not grow weary of doing good,
19:28that we never tire of doing good,
19:30or let's not even say to our hearts,
19:31It's not worth it anymore, what's the point?
19:34That will never change.
19:36God tells us, never tire of doing good,
19:39Because that's how I treat you.
19:41I never tire of doing good for you,
19:45Because God is real,
19:46And God is faithful, brother.
19:48He doesn't do well every day.
19:50Let's be realistic,
19:51that we often fail God,
19:53And God loves us and blesses us,
19:56and has mercy on us,
19:57and forgives us.
19:59And let us never tire of doing good in the name of forgiveness.
20:02As for the rest, Scripture tells us,
20:04because in due time we will blind,
20:06Let us not faint.
20:07What man blinds,
20:10That is, if we sow love,
20:14We'll eat that.
20:15And in our hearts they will live in peace.
20:18When you do well,
20:19When you practice God's truth,
20:21There is peace in our hearts,
20:23There is security.
20:26Because it tells us here,
20:28So, as soon as we have the opportunity,
20:30depending on when we have the opportunity,
20:31Let's do good to everyone,
20:33and especially those of the family of faith.
20:35Therefore, the family of faith is paramount.
20:38He's above the rest, brother.
20:41Mostly to the family of faith.
20:44But it says here,
20:45so as we have the opportunity,
20:46Let's do good to everyone,
20:48to every human being,
20:49when he has his chance,
20:51and it can do him good,
20:52Do him good,
20:53to your neighbor,
20:54to your coworker,
20:55anywhere,
20:56If you have the opportunity to do good,
20:59Go ahead, brother.
21:00In one way,
21:01blessing him materially,
21:03spiritually,
21:04depending on the context,
21:06Do good to all human beings,
21:08and especially to the family of faith,
21:10Because that's why God called you.
21:12Because you are blessed to be a blessing.
21:15God called you to be a blessing,
21:17and to bless others, brother.
21:19Ah, okay.
21:21And they persevere with that,
21:22Remember hope,
21:24and the faithfulness of God.
21:26Because that's what leads you to good deeds.
21:29That is what leads us to God's leadership,
21:32trusting in God,
21:33and trusting in hope,
21:35that God placed in our hearts,
21:37through the Gospel.
21:39It drives us to love,
21:41and to do good to every human being.
21:42Because a person who is full of grace,
21:45She is driven to love others.
21:47Amen.
21:47When Christ dwells in us,
21:50and we are filled with the Holy Spirit,
21:51and from the word of God,
21:52Within us we are driven to love,
21:55and forgive others.
21:57Because it is the nature of God in us.
22:00So, as life says,
22:01Let's not get tired.
22:03Let us never tire.
22:04And let's say,
22:05It's not worth it anymore.
22:06Because God is not like us.
22:09We have God as our example, brother.
22:14Love identifies the true disciple.
22:18If there is love in our life,
22:20a biblical love,
22:21According to the truth,
22:22That identifies us as disciples of Jesus.
22:25And we follow Jesus.
22:27And He is our Lord and Savior in our lives.
22:31And what does that look like?
22:32For the love we have for one another.
22:35Because of the love we have for one another,
22:36and with every human being.
22:38This is what a disciple of Jesus looks like.
22:40In John, chapter 13, verse 35,
22:46He tells us,
22:47By this everyone will know that you are my disciple,
22:50if you had love for one another.
22:54That's how you'll get to know the others.
22:56that you are my disciples.
22:58And you follow me,
23:00And you say that I am your Lord and Savior,
23:03in the way you treat others,
23:06to your brothers.
23:07If you treat him with love,
23:09then you obey me,
23:10because that is what Christ calls us to.
23:12to love our neighbors, brother.
23:15Then, in that way, the world will see.
23:17that we are truly and genuinely followers of Jesus,
23:22in the love we have here for one another.
23:24And that beloved love manifests itself in many ways.
23:28Forgiving, having mercy,
23:30helping in a material and spiritual way.
23:33There are many ways to show love to others.
23:37And Christ calls us to that.
23:39And we have to be firm about that.
23:42in what Christ calls us to.
23:43And trust in our Lord.
23:45And apply what it says in his word.
23:48And the world will see that we are different.
23:50And he says, what's wrong with that example?
23:52I see it differently.
23:53No, it seems like he's not from this world.
23:56She comes from another culture, from another context.
23:58He is not from here, from this earth,
24:00because it doesn't act like everyone else.
24:02Because, brother, everything else is in the flesh.
24:05It's the meat.
24:06Flesh or reality can never love.
24:09Fallen nature cannot love
24:11in a way that the Lord commands.
24:14And it cannot show genuine, real love.
24:18Only those who have the Holy Spirit can show it
24:21and they were born again.
24:22And that's how others will see that we are different.
24:24in the way we treat each other.
24:28But let us stand firm, without wavering in that attitude.
24:31And that has to be in our hearts, brother.
24:34No, I never think about God.
24:36And suddenly I say, ah, I have to love him.
24:38That must be in my heart.
24:40And tell me.
24:41And to stand firm in that.
24:43The Lord loved me.
24:45And if the Lord loved me,
24:46I have to love and have mercy on others.
24:49And compassion.
24:50He had, God had compassion on me.
24:53I also have to have compassion for others.
24:56God forgave me, He forgave me.
24:58I also have to forgive others.
25:01God had mercy on me.
25:03I have to have mercy on others.
25:05Because that is how my Lord is, from whom I learn.
25:07I am a disciple of Jesus.
25:09Because being a disciple of Jesus is following his crystal.
25:11It is trusting in Him.
25:12It is wanting to be like Him.
25:15And that's what the others will see.
25:18That's different when you suffer more every day.
25:23So let us be firm, brother.
25:25That's it.
25:26Let us trust in the Lord.
25:28Because we were chosen and created.
25:32Born again for good works.
25:36God recreated us.
25:40Because that is birth.
25:41New creation.
25:42And its purpose is good work, brother.
25:46John of Ephesians 2:10.
25:48Ephesus 2.10.
25:51He tells us.
25:51Because we are His creation.
25:54Created in Christ Jesus for good works.
25:57Which God prepared beforehand so that we would not see it in him.
26:01Let us stand firm.
26:02May we waver in God's faithfulness.
26:05May our hearts be inspired.
26:07And do good in everything else.
26:09Because we are His creation.
26:11Created in Christ Jesus for good works.
26:13The scripture tells us.
26:15That is why the Lord recreated us.
26:18But look at the way he says it.
26:19Because we are His creation.
26:21We are creations.
26:22God recreated us.
26:24We are created in Christ Jesus.
26:28For good works.
26:29That gives us reason to think so.
26:31And that will be reflected in our lives.
26:33But yes, brother.
26:34That's how it goes.
26:34If there is no firmness.
26:36Loyalty.
26:36And trust in God.
26:38Then the world.
26:40It will take.
26:40And if the world attracts you.
26:42It takes you there.
26:43You can't live like this.
26:45Loving as God commands.
26:47That you love.
26:48So.
26:49Everything is based on God's faithfulness.
26:51And then we are propelled.
26:54To good deeds.
26:55Because that is why the Lord chose us.
26:58Because we are his workmanship, brothers.
27:00We are different.
27:00A new creation in Christ Jesus.
27:03We are children of God.
27:04We are holy priesthoods.
27:06People of God.
27:07Selected.
27:07And we were rescued by the blood of the lamb.
27:10No stains.
27:11A price was paid.
27:12And Christ rescued us.
27:13To glorify His name.
27:14And show.
27:15To show the world.
27:17As.
27:18No?
27:18The character.
27:19The attributes of God.
27:21In our lives.
27:23And so the world.
27:24See that God is real.
27:25That's not a lie.
27:26That the love of God.
27:27He may have loved in our hearts.
27:29And now that love.
27:30It is about being able to love each other.
27:32Because.
27:33He is the one who loved us first.
27:35That's why we can love.
27:36To God first.
27:38And then to our neighbor.
27:40Because brother.
27:41That's a circle.
27:42It's from this year.
27:43Because if I say so.
27:44I love God.
27:45But my neighbor.
27:46Because Christ says.
27:47The one who loves me.
27:48Keep my word.
27:49And Christ commands us to love our neighbor.
27:51If I say that I love God.
27:53But I do not love my neighbor.
27:55It's not possible, brother.
27:57It's not possible.
27:59Because.
28:00It's a way of showing.
28:01To love.
28:02Towards God.
28:03It is loving our neighbor.
28:05Because that is what God requires of us.
28:08Because if God loved.
28:09To each one of us.
28:11God wills it.
28:12And he gave his son for us.
28:13That we may also love.
28:15The one he loves.
28:16That we may also love.
28:17To the one he loves.
28:18Because we are children of God.
28:19If we belong to the same family.
28:21That's very important, brother.
28:23Identifying with Christ.
28:24And with the people of God.
28:26But really.
28:28That he/she identifies me.
28:29Really.
28:30I am a child of God.
28:31I belong to the people of God.
28:33That is my main identity.
28:35And God called me.
28:36To love.
28:37The town.
28:38That he gave his blood for them.
28:40Because in such a way.
28:41I love him so much.
28:42Christ loved us.
28:43Who gave his blood for us.
28:45And it demands it of us.
28:46That we love.
28:47To the others.
28:47Because we are His creation.
28:50Created in Christ Jesus.
28:51For good works, brother.
28:52That is why I bring the Lord to us.
28:57No.
28:57We do not walk alone.
28:59We don't encourage each other.
29:01Mutually in faith.
29:02We are not alone.
29:03We are one body.
29:05And we are called.
29:06To love one another.
29:07To exalt one another.
29:09Forgive each other.
29:10We don't act in one way.
29:12Each one independently.
29:15Yes, we are one body.
29:16We are the body of Christ.
29:17That Christ gave his blood for us.
29:20And that's how we have to see it.
29:21We are the people of God.
29:24Let's move on to the third subheading.
29:30What is it.
29:31Persevering.
29:32In the congregation.
29:35In the congregation.
29:35In the congregation.
29:36In the congregation.
29:37Because of the coming of Christ.
29:38It's close.
29:40Let us not stop meeting, brother.
29:44Let us not stop meeting.
29:46Because that is what Christ demands of us.
29:48Because there in the town of God.
29:50It is where we grow stronger.
29:51It doesn't matter if there are difficult times.
29:57It doesn't matter if someone.
29:58I don't know.
29:58He said something to you.
29:59I'm not going anymore.
30:00Because look.
30:01No.
30:01Brother.
30:02Scripture calls us to come together.
30:05It tells us there.
30:07As.
30:08It tells us there.
30:09In verse 25.
30:12not neglecting to meet together.
30:14As some are accustomed to doing.
30:17But exhorted.
30:18And so many more.
30:19When you see.
30:19That day is approaching.
30:20It tells us here in verse 25.
30:22not neglecting to meet together.
30:25not neglecting to meet together.
30:26As some are accustomed to doing.
30:28There were people who had the habit.
30:32And he did not want to congregate.
30:35And it's not because something was preventing him.
30:37It's because I didn't feel like it.
30:41But that one.
30:42There are many things that you cannot put aside.
30:48When I say set aside.
30:50I'm not saying to turn away from God.
30:51From the congregation.
30:53It's the first step towards expanding.
30:55We no longer like to gather together.
30:56I can't stand anyone from the church anymore.
31:00Because?
31:01Because I'm not feeling well.
31:02I have a broken heart.
31:03Speaking spiritually.
31:05Then I can't stand anyone.
31:06I don't want anyone.
31:07I see everything as wrong.
31:08I'm not experiencing any bitterness.
31:10In the same of everything.
31:12Everyone is a sinner.
31:13There isn't a fair one.
31:15And that's how the heart goes.
31:16I start plotting in my mind.
31:18Revenge.
31:19Hate.
31:20The hygra.
31:20All of that.
31:21And I don't want us to gather together.
31:22Or because I like watching a movie.
31:24Starting with football.
31:25It's cold.
31:26Or I don't want to leave there.
31:28I'm comfortable.
31:30Laziness.
31:31And all that.
31:32And the Bible tells us not to be lazy.
31:35Then he tells us clearly.
31:37We do not neglect meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing.
31:39But by accepting ourselves.
31:40And even more so when you see that the day is approaching.
31:43The day.
31:44The coming of Christ is near, brother.
31:46So let us not stop meeting together.
31:49Let us gather together.
31:50The early church.
31:51The early church persevered with one accord.
31:54And they met together every day.
31:58The early church initially desired.
32:02Brother, I tell you this as a personal testimony.
32:04When I came to know Jesus.
32:06One of my wishes was to meet other believers.
32:10He can't anymore.
32:13I arrived some time ago.
32:14So.
32:15But I felt alone.
32:17He did not need the people of God.
32:19Those who believed what I believed.
32:22And I remember that I was there.
32:23In San Francisco Square.
32:25And he began to avenge himself.
32:26Speaking of Jesus.
32:27As I knew.
32:28And he said.
32:30I think that man.
32:32There's something about it.
32:33But he speaks like that.
32:36Say.
32:36There is another one who speaks like me.
32:37I have to find it.
32:39And that's how I found the church.
32:40Looking for it on the internet.
32:42But it's a wish.
32:43Which leads us to the people of God.
32:45It is the appeal.
32:46I want to be with those who love God.
32:48So that's how we are, brother.
32:50When we are spiritually well.
32:51We want to give to the church.
32:53And with the people of God.
32:54And praise with the other brothers.
32:56To Christ and to God.
32:58Because we are the people of God.
32:59And we will spend eternity with Christ.
33:02So that must be in our hearts.
33:04And not allow it in the deception of our hearts.
33:06They separate us from the people of God.
33:09Look at what Acts 2:24 says.
33:11The early church.
33:13He persevered.
33:14And it says here.
33:15And he devoted himself to the apostles' teaching.
33:19In communion with one another.
33:21In the breaking of bread.
33:22And in prayers.
33:25And he continued in the apostles' teaching.
33:27What we do now.
33:29The word of God endured.
33:31I listened to the word of God.
33:32The doctrine.
33:33He persevered.
33:34I grew up doing that.
33:35He trusted in the word of God.
33:36And then he says.
33:37In communion with one another.
33:39They had fellowship with one another.
33:41They were talking to each other.
33:43They were saying things to each other.
33:45They asked each other.
33:46They had communion with one another.
33:48We are God's family.
33:50And we need to get to know each other.
33:51The more time we spend together.
33:53And we know each other.
33:54And we ask ourselves.
33:55As it is there.
33:56How has the week been?
33:57Communion.
33:59Communion with one another.
34:00And he had them as his church.
34:02Communion.
34:03And he says.
34:03In the breaking of bread.
34:05It's dinnertime.
34:07And then.
34:09I prayed with my brother.
34:10He realizes it.
34:11As the church persevered.
34:12In doctrine.
34:13In the doctrine of the apostles.
34:15In the word of God.
34:16I listened to the word of God.
34:18They had communion with one another.
34:21She would have dinner together.
34:23And he prayed together.
34:23Because that is what the Lord wants.
34:25Do you remember?
34:25That is the psalm.
34:26That there God will send eternal life.
34:30Where others are together.
34:31In harmony.
34:34There God will send blessing and eternal life.
34:37The church and the congregation do not save.
34:40But that's how God's people work.
34:42Jesus is the one who saves.
34:44Brother.
34:44Let's be clear about that.
34:46The church does not save.
34:47The one who saves.
34:48Only the one who can save.
34:50It is Jesus Christ.
34:51But we are his body.
34:53And Christ wants and demands it of us.
34:56Let's not get along.
34:57Because that's why He chose us.
34:59And he has a people.
35:00And he's the head.
35:01That's how we operate.
35:03And he appointed apostles.
35:04He appointed prophets.
35:05He put shepherds in place.
35:06He put preachers in place.
35:07To build up the body of Christ.
35:10The Bible says in Ephesus.
35:11But if we don't gather it.
35:13How can we not build?
35:14If each person lives a solitary Christianity.
35:17That doesn't exist biblically.
35:19It doesn't exist like that.
35:21According to the Bible.
35:22We as a church.
35:24We need to gather together.
35:25And to live.
35:26And listen to the word of God.
35:28To have communion with one another.
35:29Get dinner.
35:30Pray together.
35:32Loving each other.
35:32Forgive each other.
35:34So.
35:34It's like.
35:35If I don't want to forgive anyone.
35:37Don't have.
35:37I want to have no one.
35:38With nothing.
35:39No friction.
35:42If Christ were like that.
35:44What would become of us?
35:46But Christ is not like that.
35:47Christ loves us.
35:48He forgives us.
35:49He wants to be with us.
35:51And that's why we are.
35:53Brother.
35:53That we cultivate that mindset.
35:56To want and desire to be with the people of God.
35:59Although you can go.
36:00And that brother is like that.
36:02That brother is like that.
36:03But first, brother.
36:05Look at yourself.
36:07Examine yourself.
36:08And look into your heart.
36:09Let's see what God forgave.
36:11Be honest with yourself.
36:13And then you'll see.
36:14How are you going to be able to?
36:15Forgive others.
36:16Because when we say that we are sinners.
36:18He who says sin.
36:20That which has no sin.
36:22He's lying.
36:22And it makes God a liar.
36:24That's what it's all about.
36:26That we are not perfect.
36:28None of us.
36:29And that we may love as Christ loved us.
36:33Christ is present.
36:34Where his people gather.
36:36When we meet.
36:37Christ is present.
36:38Matthew 18.
36:39Verse 20.
36:40He tells us.
36:41Because where there are two or three.
36:43My name is gathered.
36:44There I am.
36:45In the middle of it.
36:46Where there are two or three.
36:48My name is gathered.
36:49He is in our midst.
36:50Brother.
36:51Keep that in mind.
36:52Christ is here.
36:54It's here.
36:55He says so.
36:56And remember what it says.
36:58He is faithful.
36:59And rightly so.
37:00And he keeps his word.
37:02He's here.
37:02The scripture tells us.
37:03Where we are gathered.
37:05Two or three.
37:06He is with us.
37:08He can't lie.
37:08Christ is with us.
37:10So let's have that confidence.
37:12He is with us, brother.
37:14And now.
37:14He is dealing with our hearts right now.
37:17He knows each and every one of us.
37:19And he uses that word.
37:20To help us.
37:21To transform ourselves.
37:22To build ourselves up.
37:24To excite us.
37:24He truly loves us.
37:26He walks among us.
37:28And look at our hearts.
37:29To each one of us.
37:31Because He loves us with an everlasting love.
37:32He believes it that way.
37:34Because it says so in Revelation.
37:35That he.
37:36Know all hearts.
37:37And he goes to church.
37:39And look into the heart of each one.
37:41From us.
37:42So.
37:43Let us gather together.
37:43Because Christ is with us.
37:45Christ is in our midst.
37:46With the people.
37:47He says it in his own words, brother.
37:49Because where is it?
37:50Two or three.
37:50Gathering my name.
37:52There I am.
37:53In the midst of God.
37:54Praise be to His name.
37:59Urging him every day.
38:00So as not to harden our hearts.
38:02Because the heart is hardened by sin.
38:04How we turned away from the people of God.
38:07And we did not listen to his word.
38:09And we let ourselves be carried away every day.
38:10Daily.
38:11That leads us to hardness.
38:12And our hearts grow cold.
38:14We no longer pray.
38:15We don't see the Bible.
38:17Then we don't want to gather together.
38:19We don't hear praise.
38:20We don't feel like it.
38:22Nothing is more spiritual.
38:23Then we look for the tender one.
38:25And what are we looking for?
38:26I want to watch a movie.
38:27I want to do that.
38:28And we seek the delights of that land.
38:30To cheer up the heart a little.
38:33But that is not where our hope should lie.
38:36Our joy is in the Holy Spirit.
38:38It is in God.
38:40In the kingdom of God.
38:42It says here.
38:43It says in Hebrews 3.
38:45Verse 13.
38:47Rather, encourage one another.
38:50Daily.
38:51Meanwhile, what is being said?
38:53Go.
38:53So that none of you may become hardened.
38:56Because of the deceitfulness of sin.
38:58In other words, we come here to be exhorted.
39:01Encouraging one another.
39:02Siblings.
39:02If I live an individual life.
39:05Excluded.
39:06Outside the body of Christ.
39:08Who urges me?
39:09Who?
39:12Because they say, "Exhorting one another."
39:14If I don't come, I don't attend the church.
39:15I am outside the church.
39:17Who is urging me on?
39:19So.
39:19We encourage one another.
39:21We love each other.
39:22We help each other.
39:23That's what the scripture tells us, brother.
39:25To perish in the congregation.
39:27To perish each day.
39:28And to stimulate ourselves, to think, and to reaffirm ourselves.
39:33To desire to gather together.
39:36Desiring to hear his word.
39:38To desire to praise God.
39:39And to desire to be with God's people.
39:42That should be in our hearts.
39:44The more we grow in the Lord.
39:47Our spiritual life is improving.
39:50So I encourage him to do that.
39:51The congregation is the place where faith is strengthened.
39:56And it is protected from cooling.
39:58In the congregation.
39:59Faith is strengthened.
40:01Because faith comes by hearing.
40:02To hear the word of God.
40:04All.
40:04I've said it many times.
40:05We all have the anointing.
40:07That we are born again.
40:09To understand the word of God.
40:11Discern.
40:12Because we have the Spirit.
40:13And we can discern the word of God.
40:15But above all else.
40:17God.
40:17God bless.
40:19To other brothers and sisters in the church.
40:21To help us.
40:24These are gifts that not everyone has.
40:25According to the scripture.
40:27That they are trained.
40:28They are gifts from Christ.
40:29Part of Christ.
40:30That each one shares.
40:32That is why Ephesus says.
40:33He appointed apostles to one.
40:35To some shepherds.
40:37To other teachers.
40:38To other evangelists.
40:40And so on.
40:41And it is to build up the body.
40:43So the purpose.
40:44That we gave the congregation.
40:46Because of that.
40:47Preach the word of God.
40:48We are exhorted by the word of God.
40:51We are encouraged by the word of God.
40:54We are edified by the word of God.
40:56And we left feeling edified.
40:57And strengthened.
40:58In faith.
40:59And we trust in God's faithfulness.
41:01Because we have his word.
41:03That's why.
41:04We come and gather.
41:05The congregation.
41:06That's what it gives.
41:07The place where faith is strengthened.
41:10And that must be what's intimate.
41:11Because it tells us here.
41:13That each one of us.
41:14We had an intimate moment at home.
41:16If there is no privacy at home.
41:18And there is no intimacy with Christ.
41:19There's one over there.
41:21Here we come and are urged.
41:23But then we are urged.
41:24To have intimacy with Jesus.
41:27And to be faithful to Him.
41:28And at the end of the verse.
41:32That's what it tells us.
41:34And even more so when you see that day approaching.
41:38The coming of Christ is near, brother.
41:40And even more so when you see that day approaching.
41:43Now more than ever.
41:45So that should be the impetus.
41:46Not wanting the coming of Christ.
41:49His coming will be an instant.
41:52The writing says it in an instant.
41:54Matthew chapter 24 verses 26 and 27.
41:58He tells us.
41:58So I'll tell you.
42:01Look, it's in the desert.
42:03Don't go out.
42:04Oh look, he's in the chambers.
42:06Don't believe it.
42:08Because like lightning.
42:09That which comes from the east.
42:11And it extends as far west as the West.
42:13So will be the coming of the Son of Man.
42:16Siblings.
42:17Are you ready?
42:18We do not know when the Lord is coming.
42:20And with that expectation.
42:22With that hope of meeting Christ.
42:25And having that confidence.
42:27God's faithfulness.
42:28That what He promises comes to pass.
42:29We come and gather together.
42:32And we praise the Lord.
42:33And we rejoice in his presence.
42:35Knowing that the Lord can come in an instant.
42:39Jesus will return because he is waiting for us.
42:42Jesus will return because he is waiting for us.
42:44Hebrews chapter 9 verse 28.
42:48He tells us.
42:49So Christ was offered once to take away the sins of many.
42:58And it will appear a second time.
43:01Unrelated to sin.
43:02To save those who await him.
43:06To save those who await him.
43:08Christ offered.
43:09He offered to help us.
43:11And He paid for our sins.
43:16He will appear a second time when he comes.
43:18He is coming for his people.
43:19But if in relation to sin.
43:21He is no longer coming to sacrifice himself for us.
43:25To save those who wait on Him.
43:27For to save those who wait for Him.
43:28It's to take us away.
43:29To take us with Him.
43:31But to whom?
43:32To the one who awaits Jesus.
43:33To the one who trusts in Him.
43:35To him who loves Jesus.
43:36To him who desires to be with the Lord.
43:38To whomever desires.
43:39And he has that hope in eternal life.
43:41As he tells us in Colossians.
43:42That our gaze should be on the sky.
43:44Brother.
43:45That's where our hearts should be.
43:46Waiting for Jesus.
43:48The author and perfecter of faith.
43:49And to be with Him eternally.
43:52To be with Christ eternally.
43:54Where it says Pablo.
43:55That's much, much better.
43:59It's much better.
44:01If the word of God says so.
44:03That's right, brother.
44:04With Christ.
44:05Go with Christ.
44:06It's much better.
44:08It's not even cold there, brother.
44:10And we don't have to plug it in.
44:11Cold.
44:12Heat.
44:13Pain.
44:13Suffering.
44:14Anxiety.
44:15Sin.
44:15Everything that is happening on that day.
44:17He'll stop insisting.
44:19Every tear will pierce God.
44:21All tears.
44:21All pain.
44:22There is no more suffering.
44:24There is no illness.
44:25We no longer age.
44:26Everything will be perfect.
44:28We were deprived of God's care.
44:31Because of sin.
44:32And we are destitute because of what Christ has done for us.
44:35It's just a matter of time before that happens.
44:38Because God is the one who promised it.
44:40Everything is immutable and unchangeable.
44:42He will carry it out.
44:44So let us wait for Jesus.
44:46Let us trust in the Lord.
44:47And to conclude.
44:49Conclude.
44:50Firm hope in a faithful God.
44:52May we have a firm hope in a faithful God.
44:56Active love between siblings.
44:58That firm hope compels us to love our brothers and sisters.
45:03Love God and love your brothers and sisters.
45:07Persistence in meeting together and encouraging one another.
45:10That we persist.
45:11That we think we're reactivating.
45:13And that we value how important it is to come together.
45:17Brother.
45:17When I converted to the Lord.
45:18I'll tell you again.
45:19I had a knot in my stomach when I remembered to go to the meeting.
45:22And he longed for the word brother.
45:24What is today?
45:24Mars.
45:25Oh.
45:25Revenion.
45:26Excellent.
45:27We praise God.
45:27He's going to hear the words.
45:29How beautiful.
45:30And so we must reaffirm ourselves.
45:31And let's remember our first love, brother.
45:34That's what he says.
45:35Repent of where you fell.
45:37Remember your first love.
45:39Realizing first love.
45:41To return.
45:42And to desire to gather with the brothers.
45:44And listen to his word, brother.
45:45So, to that.
45:47May the Lord help us.
45:48Let us be steadfast in His faithfulness.
45:50Active in love with brothers.
45:53And let us not cease to gather together.
45:54Because it is God's will.
45:56Which is here.
45:57Where we strengthen our faith.
46:00Mister.
46:00Thank you for listening.
46:02Thank you, Lord.
46:04Praise be to your name, Lord.
46:05How good you are to us, Lord.
46:08We give thanks to you, Lord.
46:09For looking at each other.
46:11For loving us.
46:11For forgiving us.
46:13And for saving us, Lord.
46:15Glorious is your name, Lord.
46:17Lord, I ask you for that word.
46:19Let it be for construction.
46:20Let it be an exhortation.
46:22May it be of help, Lord.
46:23To persevere and trust.
46:26In all your word, Lord.
46:28Because you are faithful.
46:29You can't lie.
46:30You do everything you say you will.
46:32Thank you for every heart.
46:34And for every soul that is here.
46:36May the Lord bless him.
46:37Take care of him and with the Lord's help.
46:39And I ask you for it.
46:40In the name of your Son.
46:42Amen.
46:42Amen.
46:43Amen.
46:45Amen.
46:45Amen.
46:46Amen.
46:46Amen.
46:46Amen.
