00:27Even though no one in his family pursued music professionally, after only seven months of piano lessons, Ivan won third prize at the Vesta Kid Competition when he was just four years old.
00:41In June 2016, he won first prize at the MTAC Orange County Piano Competition.
00:46He then won first prize at the Southwest Youth Music Festival.
00:49In 2020, Ivan received the Global Child Prodigy Award and was honored in the top 100 child prodigies of that year.
01:01Besides performing classical pieces, he also composes his own melodies, demonstrating his multifaceted talent.
01:06Despite his fame, his family decided to keep Ivan away from the spotlight, refusing major television programs so he could have a normal childhood, free from the temptations of money or the pressure of fame.
