00:03I do think that the Phillies are at least one team and probably many others that would love you on their staff.

00:08I know the Yankee fans want you back in New York.

00:11They'll say you belong as a Yankee.

00:13Where is Don Mattingly now with what you're going to be doing from now on?

00:16And you are younger than me, so I'm still working.

00:18So I know you can still work.

00:19Before the season started this year, I kind of knew that Snide did not need me anymore.

00:23In game, yeah, maybe here or there.

00:26In general, he knew what he wanted to do.

00:27He had it together.

00:28And so I knew it was time for me really before the season started.

00:32I will say that a couple of things that have kind of changed that a little bit.

00:36My youngest son loves being around the ballpark this year, and that just started.

00:41He was old enough to go to the park with me.

00:44He could hit in a cage.

00:45He ended up being able to shag on the field some.

00:47And then the other kids around, they just played.

00:49So he was around baseball all the time and loved it.

00:52And he was like, Dad, you got to get going, right?

00:55That makes that a little tougher, right?

00:58And so now, where do we go from here?
