00:03Just days after her limited series adaptation of Today Will Be Different landed at HBO,
00:08comes word that the Oscar winner is in talks to headline the TV drama series Homecoming

00:16Based on the fictional podcast of the same name,
00:18Homecoming is described as a political thriller centering on a caseworker at a secret government facility.
00:25Roberts would play the caseworker's supervisor.
00:27Meanwhile, just a few days ago in a competitive bidding situation,
00:30HBO made a development deal for the Annapurna television project Today Will Be Different.
00:35Roberts will star and produce the adaptation through her Red Om Films banner,
00:39which would mark a return to television for the actress,
00:41who most recently starred in the HBO 2014 original film The Normal Heart.
00:46The series is just the latest in a slew of TV projects that have seen A-list stars sign on.
00:52Meryl Streep is fronting J.J. Abrams' The Knicks.
00:54Julianne Moore and Robert De Niro are starring in David O. Russell's Amazon Mafia drama.
00:59And Miles Teller is leading Nicholas Winding Refn's Too Old to Die Young.
