00:10threatening DOJ and FBI probes of Democrats as shutdown politics intensify.

00:15President Donald Trump has escalated his attacks surrounding newly resurfaced information

00:20in the Jeffrey Epstein case, threatening to direct the Department of Justice and FBI to

00:25investigate several prominent Democratic-aligned figures, including former President Bill Clinton

00:30and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers. In a lengthy truth social message, Trump claimed that

00:37all arrows in the matter point toward Democrats, accusing them of reviving the Epstein controversy

00:42to distract from the government shutdown fight. Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein hoax

00:48involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous shutdown

00:53and all of their other failures, I will be asking AG Pambondi and the Department of Justice,

01:00together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein's involvement

01:05and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase,

01:12and many other people and institutions to determine what was going on with them and him, Trump wrote.

01:18This is another Russia, Russia, Russia scam with all arrows pointing to the Democrats.

01:23Records show that these men and many others spent large portions of their life with Epstein and on

01:29his island. Stay tuned, he added. The remarks came after the House Oversight Committee released

01:35documents from the Epstein case, some of which included references to Trump. The president reacted

01:41furiously, insisting, the Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein hoax again because

01:47they'll do anything at all to deflect on how badly they've done on the shutdown and so many other

01:52subjects. He warned Republicans not to be very bad or stupid by engaging with the matter.

01:57Only a very bad or stupid Republican would fall into that trap. The Democrats cost our country $1.5

02:03trillion with their recent antics of viciously closing our country, while at the same time

02:08putting many at risk, and they should pay a fair price. There should be no deflections to Epstein or

02:13anything else, and any Republicans involved should be focused only on opening up our country

02:18and fixing the massive damage caused by the Democrats. Trump told his 11.1 million followers

02:24on Truth Social. Trump's intensifying rhetoric came just days after he hosted CEO of JPMorgan Chase,

02:32Jamie Dimon, for dinner at the White House. His threats also carry weight given the DOJ's

02:37ongoing prosecutions of several Trump critics, including John Bolton and Letitia James.
