00:00Role model. As Dart gets cleared, Giants hope that he can follow Drake May's path and return
00:05the team to glory. It's going to be interesting to see what Jackson Dart can do. He now is back
00:11after clearing concussion protocol. He's gone 2-7 as a starter. He's been really good and really
00:17efficient passing and he's given Giants fans a lot of hope. Now, is that good? Yes, of course,
00:23but the blueprint could be the guy that he's facing on Monday Night Football. That is Drake
00:28May who's doing his thing with the New England Patriots. Here's the thing. What does Drake
00:32May have around him? A lot of good talent on both sides of the ball and still getting better
00:37while he is getting better as a quarterback. Now, that is the hope for Jackson Dart and the
00:42Giants. Giants fans have every reason to be encouraged with what they've seen from this
00:47young man thus far this season, but he's still got a lot of room to grow. He still can do more.
00:52He's going to need some more talent around him on both sides of the ball and we're going
00:56to see if that can happen. Now, some people may say he had the concussion. Should he have
01:01come back? Should he start the final couple of games of the season? Mike Kafka said that
01:05he would. Yes, this is the right move. Jackson Dart needs more reps. He needs more time with
01:10the players on this field. He needs to learn how to win and players do want to win. We're
01:15not going to use the T word, not going to be any taking here. Jackson's Dart's development
01:18is so important and crucial for the Giants down this stretch of the season. And look, he's got
01:24to look no further than what's going on in New England. Understand as New Yorkers, you
01:28don't really want to look towards New England for anything, but Jackson Dart definitely has
01:32a role model to follow with Drake May. And we'll see what he can do when he's back on the
01:36center on Monday night. For more on all things Big Blue, head over to newyorkpost.com slash sports.
