00:00Seth Rollins explains why he hated WWE. Unreal.
00:05During an interview with Burt Kreischer, former WWE champion Seth Rollins discussed how fan opinions influence company decisions.
00:13He cited the R-Truth contract situation as an example where WWE reconsidered after fan backlash.
00:21A good example of this is, I would say, there's a couple of them, Seth Rollins began.
00:25One was the recent R-Truth situation, where R-Truth's contract didn't get negotiated, and it got leaked online that he had been released.
00:34The fans went, what the F? We love R-Truth. What are we doing here? We need R-Truth. Everybody needs an R-Truth.
00:41And it got to the point where the executives in WWE said, you know what? They're right. We do need R-Truth. We were wrong.
00:50Seth Rollins believes WWE, Unreal, took the magic out of the business.
00:56Burt brought up the WWE Unreal documentary series, saying he loved it, but doesn't believe it should have been done.
01:04Becky Lynch chimed in and said, that's it. We've talked about this. When we were fans, we would have loved to have seen it.
01:11Rollins then made it clear he really disliked it. He said, yeah, but I hate it. I do hate it. I don't hate all of it.
01:18Look, there's some parts of it that I think are fascinating and interesting, but I go like, there's some things in our business.
01:25Everybody knows what it is. Everybody knows it's predetermined and planned.
01:30But the gray area, that one little question that like, maybe they really don't like each other.
01:35Maybe there's something there. What could happen?
01:38That unpredictability that it creates, that's the magic. That's where the magic happens in our business.
01:44It's that little seed of doubt. And when you start to just chip away at that, it becomes a bit tricky.
