00:10You know, Tito Boy, there's a different risk.

00:14I cover a lot of bad things.

00:16So, it's a big deal of my body of work.

00:21But there's a lot of things that are delikado

00:25because there are some things that are going to be done.

00:29So, there are stories about, for example,

00:33very influential politicians or very big corporations

00:37or about the insurgency, for example.

00:43Yan, very sensitive.

00:44Kasi nakaranas na tayo ng binash na tanong kanina.

00:49So, you understand it's part of the territory.

00:54But, of course, minsan nakakatakot din.

00:57Lalo kapag talagang consistent at tuloy-tuloy.

01:00Ito talagang napaka-interesante yung pag-usapan ngayon.

01:02Kasi halimbawa, napapagit na tayo dito sa lahat nitong mga investigasyon

01:20You know, I have really strong opinions about it.

01:22I believe strongly in the importance of good governance and accountability.

01:33Bilyong-bilyong piso ang pinag-uusapan.

01:36At ang pinaka-nakalulungkot,

01:39latest lang ito sa mahabang kasaysayan natin

01:41na mayroong mga expose tapos wala naman nangyayari.

01:44So, I am absolutely 100% with ordinary people

01:49when they say na we're sick and tired

01:51and we want people to pay.

01:53Bisa namin may managot.

01:54This is not just for you and me

01:56but for a lot of people who are in broadcast, for example.

02:01Habang naghahanap ka ng ebidensa,

02:03habang naghahanap tayo ng mga katibayan,

02:08we make certain opinions.

02:09We have our own opinions.

02:10Based on many things.

02:13Pagdating sa trabaho,

02:15paano ang balance, in your opinion,

02:19doon sa klarong-klaro naman,

02:20naniniwala ka na itong taong ito

02:22magnanakaw at mandarambong

02:24tapos biglang nakakaharap mo

02:26and you actually give airtime

02:29and you're trying to be fair.

02:31Is that possible?

02:33I think it's possible.

02:36Tricky yan, tito boy.

02:37Unang-una yung access kasi malaking usapin yan sa mga journalist.

02:43Parang when I say access,

02:46papayag ba yung tao na ma-interview siya?

02:49Kung alam nung i-interviewin.

02:51Or kung hindi man,

02:52abogado o di kaya kakampi

02:54noong taong involved.

02:56Yun na nga.

02:56Parang halimbawa,

02:57kung alam nung i-interviewin na

02:59itong reporter na ito

03:01will ask tough questions,

03:03will be adversarial,

03:05baka sabihin niya,

03:05wag na lang.

03:06Okay.

03:06Pero at the same time,

03:08hindi naman pwedeng mag-pull ka ng punches

03:10kasi you owe it to the public

03:12to ask the questions they want to ask.

03:15So yes,

03:16kung ang meron ka pala

03:19ng akusasyon,

03:20itanong mo sa kanya

03:21yung mga akusasyon na yun.

03:22Pero kung meron ka ng ebidensya,

03:24merong nagsalita,

03:25halimbawa,

03:26merong document,

03:27merong litrato,

03:29kailangan mong ihapag sa kanila yun.

03:31At hindi mo lang pwedeng tanggapin na

03:33blanket denial.

03:34You have to be diligent about those things.
