00:07And when it was announced in 2019 that the one and only Gossip Girl will be back with

00:11more scandal from a new generation of teens, fans have been eagerly waiting for it.

00:16The Gossip Girl reboot will air in HBO Max and it has a new cast that will for sure fall

00:21in love with.

00:22Emily Allen Lynn plays Audrey, a mix of both Serena and Blair.

00:26Her mom is an athleisure designer, she's in a long-term relationship with Aki and she

00:31loves the classics like Audrey Hepburn.

00:33Evan Mogg plays Aki, Audrey's boyfriend.

00:36Jordan Alexander plays Julian, a teen influencer and Audrey's best friend.

00:42Whitney Peake plays Zoya, who's basically the new Dan Humphrey, or shall we call her

00:47the new Lonely Girl.

00:48She lives outside the world of the Manhattan elites.

00:51Thomas Doherty plays Max and he gives us Chuck Bass vibes.

01:32dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social

01:37surveillance of Gossip Girl.

01:39The Prestige series will address just how much social media and the landscape of New

01:43York itself has changed in the intervening years.

01:47And this time, it'll be more than a blog, Gossip Girl will probably be its own social

01:51media app.

01:52Now the big question on everyone's mind is, when is the series release?

01:56Originally, it was supposed to come out in Fall 2020.

02:00However, that had to be pushed back.

02:02Production and filming started in October 2020, and it was recently announced that the release

02:07date is July 2021.
