00:00HBO is teasing an October release for the third season of their hit
00:09series, Succession. The popular Emmy-winning show about a media mogul family took to
00:13its Twitter account early on Monday with a coy post which featured a photo of
00:17Brian Cox as Logan Roy along with the word October. It didn't, however, mention a
00:22specific date. The latest season of Succession starring the likes of Cox,
00:25Jeremy Strong as Kendall Roy, Sarah Snook as Shiv Roy, Kieran Culkin's Roman Roy,
00:30Alan Rux, Connor Roy, and Nicholas Braun's popular cousin Greg among others started
00:35filming in the fall. New cast additions for the season include Adrian Brody,
00:39Alexander Skarsgård, and Sanaa Lathan just to name a few. HBO released a teaser
00:44trailer for the upcoming season back in July which signaled that the series
00:47would pick up shortly after the end of season 2 in October of 2019 when Kendall
00:52Roy made a move against his mogul father Logan. The show's logline teases that
00:56tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family
01:00civil war. Succession won seven Emmys in 2020 including outstanding drama series
01:05and lead actor in a drama for Strong. Elsewhere HBO also announced the 11th
01:09season of the veteran Larry David comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm and the fifth and
01:14final season of Issa Rae's critical gem Insecure both of which will also launch in
01:18October. All shows will be available to stream on HBO Max. Specific dates have
