00:00We've got more yet humans.
00:11All right, Amy.
00:14Amy Pascal, ladies and gentlemen.
00:16We all made it.
00:20Wait, where's Phil?
00:21I'm here, I'm here.
00:22Okay.
00:22What was your favorite part about filming this project, and this is for the HSEA social media?
00:38Favorite part.
00:39I mean, I think that our favorite part was finding a voice for Miles Morales, and with Shameik Moore as the actor,
00:48and creating something that could stand up to Peter Parker, but also be unique and separate and different
00:56and be more representative of the world we live in today is really special.
01:05Hi, Peter.
01:06People on Twitter seem to be irritated that you were cut off while talking about your city.
01:12Already?
01:12Nice.
01:14Come on up.
01:15Can you finish what you have to say?
01:16Go up there.
01:17Yeah.
01:17Well, thanks, guys.
01:21Don't be upset, though.
01:22That's just the way it goes sometimes in Hollywood land.
01:25What I was, I'm trying to remember what I was saying, because I'm still so stunned that we won.
01:30It was great.
01:31It was amazing.
01:32Oh, thank you.
01:33It was basically just the idea that, you know, we all felt deeply the idea that anyone can have this kind of experience.
01:42Anyone can share in this myth and this kind of legend, be this kind of hero, want these kind of things.
01:48And the story of Miles Morales was a way to crystallize all those feelings into one character, this African-American, Puerto Rican kid from Brooklyn.
01:57And we all started with a fantastic vision that Phil Lord laid out.
02:02And from his very first treatment, really, a vision of what this movie could be was there.
02:08And I think that's what made us all sign on and want to give our all to the idea.
02:13So just like Phil wrote in the little mission statement that we all read in that treatment, anyone can wear the mask, everyone is powerful, everyone is necessary, we're all counting on you.
02:27And that's the spirit of this movie.
02:29And it really touches and moves all of us that people are taking that message to heart.
02:37Very well said.
02:39Bravo.
02:40How long did it take to make this movie?
02:42Is it a coincidence that both Spider-Man and Spider-Man and Spider-Verse of the Black Panther came out of the semi-eater?
02:48It is a coincidence.
02:52We started this journey with Amy four years ago.
02:57And so it was a four-year journey.
02:58Back then, Black Panther was just a name on a chart.
03:04I think it was just a wild animal.
03:05Yeah, it was awesome.
03:07But it was a long and arduous process, but the coolest part about it was that it was a real collaboration of a bunch of really talented people, and this is only a small representative of the many, many talented filmmakers and artists that worked on making this thing super special and something unique that's never been seen before.
03:25Yeah, I think we had a crew of almost 800 people put their hands on this movie, and I think you can see it on every frame.
